Hi Everyone
so as you can tell AF arrived this month which means back onto TTC. Im on cycle day 3 so just thought i'd see if anyone else was on the same timeline as me so we can talk about stuff through out the month. I don't really have anyone to talk about all this with as I don't want all my family knowing we are TTC and also my DP gets really weirded out by all the ins and outs of it all.. anybody elses like that?
Just some background. I came off the pill after 10 years in April so this is my 3rd cycle.. as far as TTC goes haven't been trying trying but this month I've decided we're really going for it Grin poor DP has no idea Wink

HAHA it's OK @Skyla01 well I took that test on Friday and today I'm about 18dpo. no symptoms really.. just thought AF was due as I was getting a few spots everyday but nothing else really! and no nothing different this cycle.. just did the OPKs and that was it. no extra DTD or anything like that! still doesn't feel real!

Mega congrats!! How many dpo are you? Do you have any symptoms? Anything different you did this cycle?

ahh right.. i have been going for PT sessions twice a week for that last few months.. so if anything it is probably just helping me to get more fit! (hopefully)

Sounds like you have DTD at just the right time!

I am quite an intense exerciser & my bmi/body fat is on the low side so I've decided to cut back just in case. I think moderate exercise is fine / encouraged.

yeah it really is alot of waiting around @skyla01 oh do you think exercise can effect it? yeah I read that about saliva as well but I dont see how it can hurt SO bad.. people do it all the time and get PG. Im not really feeling anything right now lol.. we only managed to DTD on day of OV not before or after so I'm really wishful thinking lol. also just worried if no BFP that AF will take forever to come!

@Nova324 I'm waiting for ovulation now. TTC seems to involve a lot of waiting! We're getting started with smep again tomorrow. My app still says 15 days until ovulation! But I've really cut back on exercise last few weeks & eating more. Hoping that might help shorten my cycles. Also going to use conceive+ as I read using saliva as lube is a bad idea. Cycle no.4 for us, hoping we're getting there soon.

Are you feeling optimistic this month?

how are you both getting on? I'm still in the TWW but AF should be due SAT (ish) havent had any spotting or too many symptoms for anything so who knows!
@Skyla01 are you feeling more positive about this cycle? are you trying anything new?
@amiejb25 how are you feeling now with your BFP? many more symptoms etc?

Hi @Wishtobeamamma it would be hard to say.. would you normally ovulate around this time? are your cycles regular? have you been using opks? I wouldn't really know too much to do with CM cause I can never work it out.. but I Ov'd on SAT and didn't have any kind of CM that I noticed.

Hi all was wondering if anyone can help. I'm on CD 14 and I'm predicted to be ovulating today but my CM is sticky and not egg white at all?! I DTD on CD 11 and 12. Do you think I've already ovulated? Am I still in with a chance?

aw sorry to hear that @Skyla01 is that a few days early? only good thing about AF arriving means back to CD1 and a fresh cycle. sending you lots of positive thoughts also and hoping this is your month! Smile

@Skyla01 @Nova324 hope you're both okay, any news either way for you? I do agree not testing early is the way forward but this month I did and I've got the clearest BFP 😊 feeling extremely anxious and nervous and not excited yet due to the previous losses but we will see what time brings x

Oh posted before I was done lol yeah I feel a bit better now knowing I've actually got a positive opk cause I was close to giving up on them thinking it was no good. So if anything comes outa this cycle it'll be that!

I know @Skyla01 it's better to wait til your late at least because I think then you dont know about a CP which will just give your more heartache.

Are you not feeling optimistic this cycle?

Nah, I'm kinda going against the grain here but I don't really see the point in testing early. Chances are AF will show up and save me the bother! And seeing people having cp has put me off too. I will try and be patient.

Seeing a positive opk is great! It helps you know when AF is due too. I feel like its easier if you know what's going on.

I know! Just not sure we have a chance to DTD the next few days Sad but fingers crossed we can! I'm just still kinda happy that I even seen a positive for the first time on the opk even if it is later than expected lol

I'm hoping AF stays away for you! You haven't got long to go tho. Is it hard resisting the urge to POAS @skyla01

@Nova324 maybe it is a long cycle. Make sure you dtd just in case! I'm also predicted 40 day cycle this time, although that's a bit shorter than last one.

I'm 11dpo. Had a few cramps last week and felt a bit rubbish but that's all gone now. Af is due Thursday so hoping usual pms cramps stay away! Not planning to test unless I'm a few days late so just a waiting game now! I think best guess you're ovulating today? Just about to start the TWW!

Yeah @Skyla01 this was the first positive I've had this month so quite late on.. that's why I was like Confused cause if I'm only ovulating now adding another 14 days ish on this cycle will be nearly 40 days.. and I was so hoping the cycles would be getting shorter not longer! Bodies are soo confusing! If it could just let me know what was going on I'd feel much better haha

How is your TWW going? any signs of AF?

@Nova324 hmmm difficult to be sure I think! Remind me, is this the first positive you've had this month? If so it probably does mean ovulation, just later than expected. Although I have heard of people getting multiple surges each cycle, including close to AF. If you dtd that would be very good timing.

Your cycle sounds a bit confusing this month. When AF arrives things might be a bit clearer (unless you get BFP of course!). Af usually comes around 14 days after ovulation so you can count back and find out when you ovulated. That might help you for future cycles, although not so useful just now.
