Hi guys,

I’ve done a few threads on here for ttc but this month I am in a new positive state of mind and I am determined to get that BFP!!

I’ve been to the GP today who said my bloods have come back fine for hormones etc and just that I am very low on vit d (which I knew from last check up and have been taking vitamin tabs twice a day) anyway....

She has said there is nothing to suggest any infertility or that I’m not ovulating and that perhaps I am ovulating and not timing it. I was convinced at this appointment I would be prescribed chlomid, but no she said that I just need to come back in 2 months with a new blood test and see from there...

I came away disheartened and a little bit like I’d given up until I thought hold on she said there was no reason to suggest in infertile or have a problem therefore I am fertile and need to work harder! So I got online ordered loads of OPKs, preseed and a basal thermometer.

I also downloaded Sperm Meets Egg and I am determined this month to follow rule by rule. Sorry that was very long! But I am due AF any minute so will be tracking from about day 8 anybody want to do the journey with me??

Again sorry for how long that was!!

@Makingawish I know how it must feel....but I’d say that’s a pretty clear positive. I can never usually see the line on those ‘line eyes’ threads and I see yours straight away! But defo get a test that says pregnant or not pregnant.

Now you have to walk me through it all 😂 symptoms, changes, Cm f* it even sex positions 😂

@AllHopeAndNoResults I'm too scared to get excited until I see it on a FRER. I feel like I'm being duped here 🤣 I'm only 10DPO!

@Makingawish so why are you doubting it? It’s probably hard for you to believe at the moment but it looks positive to me. You should test either with a FRER or wait 48 hours......I’m trying hard to not get excited for you because I don’t wanna be THAT poster that I don’t like 😂

@AllHopeAndNoResults I've used this batch plenty of times (it had about 30 in) and never ever had anything other than a solid negative even with the squintiest of eyes. I'm so confused. Dr Google says evap lines won't have colour because only the HCG hormone can cause it to change colour 🤷‍♀️

@AllHopeAndNoResults there's 100% a pink line which you can't miss in real life but my camera won't focus. I don't want to waste a FRER if it's an evap though 😄 I've also poured my wee away so would have to wait til I need to go again!

Right don't shout at me but I just had an urge to pee on stick so I used an IC expecting to just chuck it... is this an 'evap' line? It came up within 2 minutes...

@AllHopeAndNoResults I'll tell you an IRL example of what pees me off... just driving down the road and a kid who's about 2/3 is sat in the front passenger seat with the window fully down just hanging his head out as his Mum drives round. Clearly no seatbelt
or straps on him. My heart was in my mouth!

Hi ladies lots has happened on here since last night!!

@VenusStarr that BFP looks wonderful so happy for you again. Have you had many symptoms? How are you feeling generally? The line is nice and dark now!

@AllHopeAndNoResults yay on finishing the programme!! Now it's the longest wait ever but you did so great following it to the letter.
When do you plan on testing? And are you gonna carry on taking ac for the rest of the cycle?

@Carley321 To be honest I don't think I can comment on Ava yet. It was totally wrong about my ovulation date but I've read it can take 3 months to get to know you so this month I'm still relying on opks and temping. Others have had better results from the first month so it could just be me. Also it needs internet to work which I didn't think about as one night I was in a remote area and it didn't sync properly and it lost my data from that night which was annoying. Also you can't put on any opk results so if you have a different ovulation date and it doesn't detect it then you can't input that manually. So at the moment I'm not amazed by it but it's only my second cycle so will wait to give judgment till next cycle.

It’s true there’s always a special case or a worst case scenario and it gets your mind thinking in overdrive.

The other thing that annoys me on other threads right...😂 is when they urge a poster to take a pg test knowing it’s too early to tell and they don’t think how negatively that could affect someone’s mind set seeing a bfn! Really irks me lol

I just wanna tell you guys something funny I forgot to say earlier. Well it’s not that funny really....talking to the GP I found myself talking in Mumsnet lingo ‘yes me and dp have been trying for a baby’
‘Monitoring Cm and using OPKs’ also drop dtd in there at some point I’m sure. I think I spend too much time on the conception board 😂
