I couldn't find an August Bus so thought I'd set one up! AF got me this morning ☹️

Have tried temping and testing, relaxed it all a fair bit last cycle due to my temporary insanity!

Why is AF such a bitch?! Is it necessary for her to be so painful!! DP always sympathises and is baffled how we deal with it but it's just not enough right now 😩😩 its so uncomfortable! 😩😩

@Skyla01 well at least the TWW is no longer than it should be! I am grateful for my short cycles in that sense, although it seems like no time between each AF. I go a little loopy around AF.. Poor DP barely gets any rest! I think so too - I kind of want to almost pretend like we're not trying so that it's a nice surprise when AF doesn't arrive, if that makes sense?

@whatsthecraic91 can't believe you're not hungover! I felt for sure you were passed out this morning! 😂 did you have a good night? Pros to AF arriving is that I was able to make the most of the cocktail menu on our afternoon date today! 🍸

@Sunshine8888 yes LP is ovulation to period. In most people it is 14 days. Some people have a shorter LP and sometimes that can be a problem. I haven't heard of a longer LP before, but I don't think it's an issue. Sounds like you're set for a much shorter cycle!

@Skyla01 please forgive my lack of knowledge but is the LP the period between ovulation and AF? If so I think mine was around 17 days last cycle. Is that ok? I’m really hoping for shorter cycle than 45 days this month, if I did ovulate on 1st August as I think, that was only CD15 which gives me hope for something more like 32 days 🤞🏻 Will just have to wait and see!

@Louise190 14 day luteal phase, just a long wait for ovulation! I think it's just hangover from the pill. Last cycle was 44 days, ovulated a little earlier this cycle so predicted for 40 days. Things are going in the right direction. But can't help thinking it could take a long time to get pregnant! It's a good idea to have a clear out! Having too many tests around is defo a bad temptation!

Hello, been reading everyday but never post so thought I would join in! So I am TTC baby #2, my app says I am 7dpo and AF due on 12th. Good luck everyone Smile xx

@Louise190 I dont have a clue! I came off the pill at the end of may and had a withdrawal bleed but nothing since. I've just been doing random tests to check!

@Hannah1925 I’m just carrying on as normal. The TWW is hard enough without wine to carry me through! I can’t put my life on hold for something that could take a long time to happen. Of course if I get a BFP I’ll stop but not before...

I’m trying to just chill out but not knowing if I’m in the TWW or not (I feel like I could be around 3DPO) is actually quite hard! All I can do is wait and see....

The good news is that DP and I are using our Xmas present vouchers for River Exe Cafe today, a cafe that is in the middle of River Exe, so I'll be able to enjoy a drink! Although how amazing would it have been to be able to celebrate a BFP ☹️😓

To preserve my sanity and I have decided to remove all OPKs and HPTs from my home. I have approx 10 onestep of each. Does anyone want them? Save them being wasted!

@Louise190 I didn't ovulate until cd26 this cycle! It's a little demoralizing when I look at Flo app, which has a calendar showing predicted cycles going forward. It looks like ages until my next ovulation! Maybe I'll get lucky this time...

@Frozeneverafter I think I can see 2 lines on your test? It may well be positive, but I think you're right to be a bit cautious and try another test to be sure.

@Louise190 sorry about AF :( You must have a short cycle to fit back on the August bus!

I'm 11dpo. Af due Thursday so wait and see if she shows up...

@Louise190 I am exactly the same with the drinking in TWW. It's too hard to restrict for a maybe. Also crossing everything for the next cycle. I'm due AF or BFP on the 28th Aug.

I think you need to disregard anything that happens after the time frame, especially on cheaper tests.

I have my fingers very firmly crossed for you!! 🤞

Thank you, I will try an FRER too! See if I can get one. I'm a bit worried now because I came back to it just now and it has all but disappeared. Would have thought it would have stayed if it was positive? Gosh I really hope it is a BFP. It was well within the time limit.

@Hannah1925 I will continue as I please until I get a BFP. At the beginning I restricted myself but when AF kept arriving I wondered why I was torturing myself "just in case"!

@frozen I can definitely see something pink! I think you need to get yourself an frer to confirm- they're def the best and easy to read. It should also show with any wee rather than just fmu by now I would have thought..just hold it for a couple hours and not too much water just beforehand!

This is my BBT chart too. When I saw the drop this morning I thought for sure AF would be here by tomorrow.
