@Rosieposy89 I completely know how you feel. Cycle 9 for me. Its so hard but keep going try and keep positive. I realty get down about it some days. Its constantly on my mind though as in every day!!!!

Frozeneverafter · 27/07/2019 18:32

@november90 Oh, I know that feeling, like you said, I'm sure we all know that feeling. I saw something on Instagram that said "I am happy for you but I'm sad for me" and it really made sense to me. It's like you're outwardly happy but on the inside you just have a pit in your stomach and then you feel bad for feeling that way. TTC can be so hard and emotional!

november90 · 27/07/2019 18:20

Urgh guys.... af came today and my sister has just told me she's pregnant. Obviously I'm so happy for her, but just feeling so down about myself :( I know some of you will be able to understand how I feel xx

Rosieposy89 · 27/07/2019 16:03

Can I jump on board?
Age:30 ( DH 34)
TTC: #1
Cycle:8
CD:4

I'm feeling so bored/negative/numb about the whole thing. I even feel like sex isn't as fun anymore eventhough we don't time sex particularly although we have it regularly, it all just feels like we are going through the motions. I think maybe the excitement over TTC has just evaporated and I dread another period. Oh well, onwards and upwards!

november90 · 27/07/2019 15:44

@Gemster19 oh I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage! I hope you're feeling better 💗
Long cycles really are just the worst aren't they! I'm gonna try my best to be as positive as can be about it this month :) x

whatsthecraic91 · 27/07/2019 12:10

Hi everyone my AF is due 3rd Aug!
I don’t know when I ovulated this month as I have been getting negative OPKs all cycle!!! Last night my nipples have been so sore and still are & I keep getting this weird feeling it’s almost like a wave of anxiety, some cramping too but nothing major. CD22 and my cycle is about 29 days so I’m guessing I am 6/7DPO , could this be it people!! I have never had these symptoms before. So tempted to test but I know it’s too early! This is cycle 7 of TTC #1

Gemster19 · 27/07/2019 12:10

Hallelujah - CD1 at last 🎉!

@november90 I'm expecting a slightly longer cycle this month after miscarriage so we're probably in this one together 😊

november90 · 27/07/2019 10:03

Hi everyone! Af arrived today. My cycles are annoyingly long and I'm not due on until 2nd sept. Is it ok I join this bus? :)

Hannah1925 · 27/07/2019 09:03

This is me this morning!!! I had a dark opk yesterday too so I think ovulation any time now!!!!!

August Bus
Skyla01 · 27/07/2019 08:24

@Louise190 I'm 3dpo. Trying not to symptom spot buy just forget about everything until weekend after next. Hope AF doesn't arrive!

Louise190 · 27/07/2019 05:45

@rosina38 I tried all of that one cycle and it was torturous and I think it only made time go slower. Then when AF came along I was miserable! This cycle I have just been trying to make good food choices and have started st the gym again to get healthier and as a distraction! But I still have what I want in moderation and I'm feeling better.. although obviously can't stop symptom spotting! 🙈 TTC is a mad woman's game!

@Louise190 I’m on CD6, This month I said to myself I was going to make some lifestyle changes, cutting down on booze and caffeine but I caved and had a large wine and a g&t tonight followed by a cup of tea (sacre bleu!)

Is it me or does time suddenly go slowly when Ttc?

Hope everyone is doing well x

Hannah1925 · 26/07/2019 23:10

@lori2019 ahhhh. Good luck. Hopefully this month is your month. I dont think they'll investigate me yet been trying for 9 months but it has to be a year as I'm 26... Ive got a doctors appintment next Wednesday because I spot for about 7 days before my period is due Ahhh!!! Feels like forever xxxxx

Louise190 · 26/07/2019 21:49

6DPO and having some odd cramps. It's a bit early for AF cramps but trying not to read too much in to it! 🙈

How's everyone else getting on?

lori2019 · 26/07/2019 09:44

@Hannah1925 sorry, I just saw your question. I'm 35 - prescription from consultant gynaecologist. I went to gp first, she did day 3 and day 21 tests - progesterone was 10ish so she referred me to gynae. She repeated the tests, saw her again a few weeks later and she prescribed the clomid for 3 cycles. I'm not being monitored during the cycles have an appointment in sept if I don't conceive by then. She's then going to do further tests.

sao811 · 25/07/2019 18:24

Hi hope you don't mind me hopping on from the July bus!
24, TTC #2, Cycle 3, CD4.

My DD is 20 months, so really wanting to have another before she turns 3. As it stands if all goes well this month she will be 2.5yrs which I think/hope is a good gap! Just not sure which OPK to go for this month. fertile window is predicted from CD 11-CD17 which is in a weeks time, when would be best to start?

Frozeneverafter · 25/07/2019 17:32

Hi @namiswan I had a very similar thing happen for my first two cycles and it has made me paranoid. I guess we just become more in tune with our bodies and symptom spot/measure days more closely. I didn't have a coil though but my cycles have ranged from 26-31 yet the last cycles I had before TTC were all 30-31 days.

NamiSwan · 25/07/2019 17:06

Hi everyone, been lurking for a while but thought I'd take the plunge and join the conversation...

Age: 33
TTC: #3
Cycle: 3
CD #1

Cycle usually around 30/31 days but can be shorter or longer (27-33 days) and not sure I ovulate every month. had a weird short and light (3 day period) right before having my copper coil out, then cycle #1 of TTC was randomly only 19 days long so didn't get to properly start trying! Used OPKs during cycle #2 and did ovulate, but AF came today a couple of days earlier than I was expecting and with no warning, on 11DPO (boo!).

Trying for baby #3 so wanted to be relaxed about it, but have immediately gotten paranoid about my weird cycles and obsessing over everything so thought I'd join the chat on here so I can obsess with you lovely ladies Smile

Frozeneverafter · 25/07/2019 14:52

@kahstorm sorry to hear that, I think you've got the right attitude. I hope you enjoyed the holiday despite that. You're so right about the pressure in the holidays too.

Just got off the phone with Clearblue and found out I'm eligible for the trial! Just got to let them know when AF comes. I had a negative OPK this morning and seem to still have some watery CM. Wondering if it's just something that can happen at any point in my cycle. We BD'd anyway, just in case! Hope everyone is having a good day.

rosina38 · 25/07/2019 13:51

@fancytea I am also CD5! Ttc#1 age 31. Good to have a CD buddy :)

fancytea · 25/07/2019 13:39

Can I hop on!

Age 27
TTC #1
CD 5

kahstorm · 25/07/2019 10:03

@Frozeneverafter OFSTED is the worst! I’ve been really focusing on trying to stay relaxed this year and positive. I’ve been ttc since August 2017 with a few miscarriages In-between its been heartbreaking. I think we put pressure on ourself to conceive on holiday without knowing it. I went away for a week at the beginning of July (we break up early) and was adamant I would fall pregnant! I need to start putting it at the back of my mind I think.

Goingbacktokansascity · 25/07/2019 09:00

@Frozeneverafter I’ve had the exact same. OPKs show no surge but loads of EWCM when I thought I ovulated about 5 days ago 🙈

Gemster19 · 25/07/2019 06:38

Jumping on this one ladies.

Age 30
TTC #1
Eagerly awaiting cycle 3

DP and I decided to start TTC in May, had my copper coil removed and was absolutely amazed to get my BFP in cycle 1. Unfortunately we lost our little one a couple of weeks later, at 4-5 weeks depending on whose dates you take. I got caught up in all the stories of people who fall again straight away, but am currently on CD 34 with no sign of AF but BFNs on CD 29 and again today. I'm not even sure I ovulated this cycle so I think I'm probably out and, if she's coming, I just want AF to hurry up for our fresh start!

Skyla01 · 24/07/2019 22:04

@Frozeneverafter that sounds confusing! The last two cycles I have had two lots of ewcm about a week apart. I ovulate with the second lot. Also heard people on hear saying they get some ewcm after ovulation in tww. Best to DTD anyway just in case!
