Hey ladies
I know there's lots of threads out there for this but who's joining me?
I think I'm either 1 or 2 DPO - got a static smiley on a clear blue digital OPK on Wednesday and annoyingly didn't have any IC to test when I did actually O nor am I temping so guessing I O'd either Thursday or Friday.
I am determined NOT to symptom spot but realistically I will 😂

@largepinotplease welcome to the thread! I am so sorry to hear about your recent loss. TTC can be really emotionally hard, even more so when you have just suffered a loss. Many of the women on this thread have experienced similar heartbreak and it's sometimes helpful to lean on others who know how you might be feeling.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you this Monday but of course, it is early days. Try and stay sane (it's pretty tough to not go POAS mad!). Baby dust to you 🧚

Izzie1994 · 10/07/2019 11:16

@largepinotplease I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm also 10dpo and due to test on Sunday, although I'll wait as long as I can because I hate seeing negatives. I've got my fingers crossed for you that this is your month! Keep us posted

largepinotplease · 10/07/2019 11:03

Hi, I've been debating joining a conception thread but I think now I'd like to join if that's ok 😬
I'm 30 years old and currently ttc my second child but it'll be my third pregnancy as we unfortunately suffered stillbirth at 31weeks in March, I also have a DS who will turn
3 in September. Or I'm not sure to say my third child, it's so confusing to be honest but all I know is I'm desperate to be pregnant again and hopefully have a healthy baby at the end. I've had two cycles which were pretty regular so I'm hoping my dates are ok this month.
Currently 10dpo - this is a rough estimate as I'm using an ovulation calculator on my phone and not ovulation sticks. We managed to DTD 5 times over 7 days so I'm hoping that's enough 🤞🏻 however as it's only my third cycle I can't be sure 100%. I fell pregnant with my son after 3 months and with my daughter 10 months so I'm not holding my breath as this is our first month but it'd be amazing if I did and it'd really help me mentally and emotionally after our loss.
I've had a slight upset stomach yesterday and this morning and I've felt absolutely exhausted but that could be just from looking after a toddler! We're going away to the seaside this weekend and according to my app I should test Sunday so hoping to stay too occupied to test and if no period by Monday I'll test then - good luck to all x

Izzie1994 · 10/07/2019 10:58

@maria2bela I feel exactly the same today. I'm 10dpo and feel like normal PMS. Trying to tell myself that there's still a chance but I'm not convinced. When are you testing?

maria2bela · 10/07/2019 10:29

How's everyone today? I'm feeling a bit shit today, haven't got any symptoms at all and just don't feel like this month is going to be my month. 6dpo today and just want it to be over already!

Mrsccc · 10/07/2019 09:25

hi,

I had a line on an opk yesterday evening but it wasnt as dark as the control line.
I came off pill end of may and had a withdrawal bleed but have had nothing since so not sure what the line means..

Fingers crossed it means i'm ovulating or ovulating soon and hopefully i'll be joining you on the TWW 🤞🤞 x

Elles1980 · 10/07/2019 09:20

@michellebops I'm a massive looser (in more than one way haha) but I gain massively also! Yes my daughter is Eva, you obviously have great taste lol!
@LouLouB1987 I got caught in march first try using the clear blue fertility monitor, sadly we lost the baby at 10 weeks on may 28th. Waited for one af and ready to go again. IV been told that after a MC it can make you super fertile so it may very well be that for you! You will have to keep us posted! I know it's a crazy old rollercoaster of ups and downs but I'm just trying to break it down into two week parts rather than a whole month (if that makes sense) and remembering why we want a baby. We're quite a positive couple so we are good at keeping each other happy and uplifted, and I usually keep my inner pyscho to myself but now I have you wonderful ladies to share my crazy with hahaha xx

Michellebops · 10/07/2019 08:20

@Elles1980 yes I go to SlimmingWorld too. I lost 19lbs then was off for a wee break and had an operation 3 weeks ago, went back on Saturday and had gained 11.5lbs 😱 partly due to the op and partly being greedy.

Your daughter is Eva? That's my girls name too, she'll be 4 in October 😍

LouLouB1987 · 10/07/2019 08:16

Can I jump in?!

32
TTC #1 for 2 years :(
1 round of IVF, first transfer caught but MC at 5 weeks
1 embryo left in ice but having a break

Currently at 6 or 7dpo. Got a smiley on 3rd July but also a strong IC ov test on 4th July. Lots of DTD! AF due 20th July.

Wondering if the IVF catching means its women up my body and we could of caught?! 🤞🏻 Trying desperately not to POAS!

Good luck too all

Izzie1994 · 10/07/2019 07:47

@Elles1980 Thank you! I have days where I think it's worked this month and others where I feel completely normal and disheartened. It's so hard to completely switch off from it. Every month I say I'm going to chill out but inevitably I do the complete opposite! TMI I have had alot of creamy cm this month but not sure if that's normal for me, only time will tell I guess! How long have you been trying?

Elles1980 · 10/07/2019 07:33

Oh you go fat class @Michellebops? I go fat club haha sw for me. It's awful my little one (Eva 4) starts shouting I don't like fat club it's boring when we're walking through the doors hahaha. Now everyone knows what I call it! IV not been for 3 weeks due to work etc and IV put on 5.5lbs. so going to be leaving the galaxy caramels at the shop this week where they belong and loose that 5.5 to get me back on track. I feel for us women..... Trying to loose weight, trying to make babies! It's so true our work is never done lol! Have a great day ladies xx

Michellebops · 10/07/2019 07:18

Ooh now I fancy a galaxy caramel with my morning cuppa. God help the scales at fat class this week 🤣

Elles1980 · 10/07/2019 00:55

@Michellebops never..... God help any midwife who tried to prize a galaxy caramel out of my hands lol!!
@Dexysmidnightrunner oooo were pretty close I'm not due till 23rd after my d&c I seem to have gone straight onto a 28 day cycle, but will keep tracking to make sure as I had a coil fitted for years and have an almost 5 year old so IV not had a regular cycle for a long time and was always irregular before that! When I concieved in march I had no symptoms at all, I only tested because I had used the clear blue fertility monitor so knew we had dtd at ovulation and were lucky enough to get caught first time. We're both very much of he same mind that we'll just keep going and try not to let it take over our lives.... But now I have you lot and he'll never know just how crazy I am haha! Xx

Dexysmidnightrunner · 09/07/2019 22:54

@Elles1980, sounds like we are pretty close. I’m due AF 16th as have shortish luteal phase and ovulate quite late in cycle. Was later than normal this month as think my body still getting back to normal after miscarriage. Trying not to symptom spot but no sore boobs which was my main indication last time

Michellebops · 09/07/2019 22:46

@Elles1980 definitely don't give up the chocolate 🍫

Elles1980 · 09/07/2019 21:46

@Michellebops I'm relatively fit and healthy, I'm a junior school pe teacher so I'm on my feet alot weekdays and I run sports camps and I'm also a fitness instructor (I'm overweight but did lots and lots of weight lifting so I don't really agree with BMI calculators due to my career and knowledge) so I'm trying not to let the age thing bother me so much! It's the chocolate I can't quit lol! I don't drink or smoke, I feel I did enough of that till about 35 to last the rest of my life lol!
@Izzie1994zzie
That sounds quite positive, please keep us updated on how you get on, try not to be too sad if not as there's every other month lovely Smile.
@Dexysmidnightrunner
I had my smiley peaks Saturday and Sunday so were quite close together I think? I'm due af on the 23rd. Keep us posted on any symptoms as I'm all new to this checking bodies and feeling stuff lol! Hope your all well ladies xx

Dexysmidnightrunner · 09/07/2019 21:16

Hi, can I join please. Got static smiley on Friday morning. DTD Wed, Friday and Sunday. Trying to conceive after MMC in April and driving myself a bit mad! Good luck to everybody x

Izzie1994 · 09/07/2019 13:42

Hi ladies,
I hope you don't mine me jumping on your thread!
I'm currently 9dpo (approx) and this ttw is killing me. We have a beautiful 2 year old little girl and would love to give her a sibling. We've been trying since march 2018 but my cycles only regulated April 2019 after being on the depo for 14 months. My only synptom when I was pregnant with my first were sore boobs on the sides but we weren't planning the pregnancy so I have no idea when this started. Since I've been having regular cycles my boobs have hurt after ovulation but not on the side, just under the nipple. The last couple of days I have had slight pain on the sides and slight nausea every now and again but I'm thinking I could be over thinking it! Baby dust to everyone, fingers crossed we all get out BFP!!

Siennarosesmumma · 09/07/2019 13:02

Thanks. I'm 14 weeks without Confused. Have doc appointment on 18th so will ask x

Michellebops · 09/07/2019 10:46

Hi @Siennarosesmumma my friend took 7 weeks to return.

If you're concerned the go can prescribe norehisterone which can reset your cycle

Siennarosesmumma · 09/07/2019 06:45

Hello ladies. Just wondering if anyone's period took a long time to come back after stopping the pill? I'm 34 and have missed two now. I'm not ovulating and have had blood tests which came back normal. Do I just wait? Feel nervous about it all.

Michellebops · 09/07/2019 06:36

I know what you mean @Elles1980 I'm 42 and only learned about my body in the last year.

Don't worry too much about your age as long as you're healthy. I fell pregnant naturally last year at 41, sadly miscarried at 12 weeks scan but still have hope x

Elles1980 · 08/07/2019 22:09

I was in and out of consciousness so it was my poor oh that suffered more than me really. I'm 39 and he's 41 so we really feel like we don't have time on our hands, at our midwives consultation in may they kept going on about my age, we feel like we're against the clock so I'd rather give up the wine and buy the sticks lol! In saying that though IV been reading so much on these forums and learned so much about my own body that you would have thought I'd have already known by my age. Like the cm... I had no idea but this month I knew exactly what was going on! I'm due at on the 23rd so I'm not entirely sure when I can test but here's hoping. So sorry for your loss MrsLBear, I was pretty devestated at 10 weeks we were so super excited to start telling people at 12 weeks, so close!! But next time ladies xxx

MrsLBear · 08/07/2019 21:36

@Herewegoagain89 my af is due around then too! Did you do opks this month?
Wishing you the best of luck! When you planning on testing?

@Elles1980 so sorry to hear that. Sounds so traumatic!! Best of luck to you!!
I only use opks and the clear blue digital ovulation sticks but not gonna use them again next month as they are so expensive. I temped when I fell pg first time (ended in mmc at 10 weeks as baby only measured 6) but haven't got back into it again.

sao811 · 08/07/2019 20:36

I've tried OPKs this month, dont think ill try the more expensive ones for another couple of months
