Hey ladies
I know there's lots of threads out there for this but who's joining me?
I think I'm either 1 or 2 DPO - got a static smiley on a clear blue digital OPK on Wednesday and annoyingly didn't have any IC to test when I did actually O nor am I temping so guessing I O'd either Thursday or Friday.
I am determined NOT to symptom spot but realistically I will 😂

@LouLouB1987 Hiw about we slap each other, I'm exactly the same. Going to have to fight myself in the morning not to test with frer! Don't worry you're not the only one, and yes a bfn at 7/8 dpo indicates nothing yet! X

@sao811 no probs! I'm so excited for us all to test! X

sao811 · 11/07/2019 17:22

@maria2bela thanks for this! Got a pack of 15 strips, pack of 5 sticks 😂 addicted cant wait to start tesring just dont want to too early

LouLouB1987 · 11/07/2019 16:11

Why oh why is POAS so addictive?!

I am fully aware that I am only 7 or 8dpo today. I'm also aware that there is absolutly no point in testing that early. Also in the middle of a break between IVF transfers. Why would it happen now if it hasn't for 2 years?!

Yet I STILL POAS this morning which of course was a BFN!!

Just, can someone just slap me 😂😂😂

maria2bela · 11/07/2019 12:32

@Izzie1994 awww I know, maybe wait another day or 2 then if you can?

**By the way ladies, Amazon are doing a free months trial of amazon prime. I just got 2 boxes of frers (4 tests in total) for £12 and being delivered this evening for free!

Izzie1994 · 11/07/2019 12:23

Thanks for your advice! I'm worried that I'll get a BFN again and I'm fed up of seeing them!

maria2bela · 11/07/2019 11:25

@Izzie1994 I looked back and saw you said you're 10dpo yday which would make you 11 today, no reason why it couldn't be a potential indication of pregnancy, get yourself a frer! X

sao811 · 11/07/2019 11:19

@Izzie1994 OPKs can detect HcG levels too, id do a FRER deffo!

Michellebops · 11/07/2019 09:43

@Izzie1994 this can be normal before af but also some people use opks to test for pregnancy. Not 100 guaranteed to indicate a pregnancy.

Herewegoagain89 · 11/07/2019 09:22

Thank you. This is my 3rd but never had anything with the other 2!

Lizzie, I'm sure I've read that dark lines on ovulation tests -when you're not ovulating- is a sign of pregnancy? Might be worth doing a test.

maria2bela · 11/07/2019 09:09

@Izzie1994 hmmmm strange, I have no idea? Surely you wouldn't be ovulating again or very late..

Izzie1994 · 11/07/2019 08:41

How is everyone this morning? I'm confused today. I woke up to some EWCM so thought I'd do an OPK and it's not positive but it is pretty dark considering AF is due on Sunday..... Not sure what to make or it. I'll attach a picture

sao811 · 11/07/2019 06:25

@Herewegoagain89 juat looking back at dates from when I had DD and I remember after DTD I got spotting and really strong pains for one day. Just done the maths and that was 5 days after DTD. Couldn't tell you what O day I was on though as she wasn't planned

Michellebops · 11/07/2019 00:23

5/6 dpo is ideal timing for implantation x

Herewegoagain89 · 10/07/2019 23:20

Ladies, just need abit of help!

I'm 5dpo and at about 10pm went to the loo and found Brown discharge. Has anyone else experienced it? I've now got a dull ache in my stomach and a couple of twinges. Is 5/6dpo early for implantation?

Dexysmidnightrunner · 10/07/2019 22:17

@largepinotplease, sorry to hear of your loss. I am keeping everything crossed for you that your upset stomach is a wee baby!

sao811 · 10/07/2019 20:46

@largepinotplease im so sorry for your loss, wishing you all the luck in the world! Ive only been using an app until this month and im every 28 days like clockwork, always try to track symptoms too

maria2bela · 10/07/2019 19:49

@MrsLBear Yes defo! We can be testing buddies at 10dpo lol, let's see what Sunday brings!

@Izzie1994 I know it's always a risk testing early but I just don't think I'll be able to hold off much longer than that! X

Michellebops · 10/07/2019 19:20

@largepinotplease I'm sorry to read your story.
I can't imagine what you're going through.
💔
I had a miscarriage last October and had to go through friends announcements and my due date was April and I know how hard that was.

I would definitely say you're trying for your 3rd child as your beautiful girl was your baby and she counted. She has a name and will be registered and you felt her move inside you. I understand it's quite raw and will be difficult to tell your story but your son will grow up to learn about his sister.

My friends mum had a baby who was stillborn and my friend talks about her brother as does her mum talk about the difference between her pregnancies. She went only to have a 3rd a year or 2 later.
Wishing you lots of luck ❤️

Izzie1994 · 10/07/2019 13:22

@maria2bela @MrsLbear I'm always to scared to test early because I know if it's negative I'll still convince myself it's too early and will end up doing loads of tests! It's an expensive hobby! Im 10dpo today but honestly feel no different so I have 0 hope in the month.

MrsLBear · 10/07/2019 13:13

@maria2bela I'm plan on on poas on Sunday too cos I will be 10dpo then too.
I know it's probs a bit early but I couldn't poas during the week as mornings are too mental and I couldn't possibly wait until the following weekend!! How have you been feeling?

MrsLBear · 10/07/2019 13:10

@largepinotplease that's why MN is so amazing. You can vent, chat and everything in between about everything you're going through without judgment or someone holding on to everything you're saying too much.
I'm sure it keeps many of us sane. It does me as I feel like I can't really let anyone know how all this whole TTC thing is making me feel. After 13 months of it, I've felt every emotion possible! It's so hard when it feels like everyone and their aunt are falling pg. My due date would have been September and I said that I pray that I'm pg again by then but at this rate I doubt that'll happen. Not being a negative nelly but just being real and I swear to god if one more person says it'll happen when it does or don't stress it'll happen I will punch them 😂

maria2bela · 10/07/2019 12:36

@Izzie1994 I think I'll test on Sunday at 10dpo, early I know but that's pretty much when AF is due as I ovulate late in my cycle. Currently driving myself insane!

largepinotplease · 10/07/2019 11:40

Thank you everyone, it's been a tough few months but my amazing DH has been a massive support (considering it was his loss too) and my gorgeous ds had just been a life saver, I'm so relieved he's too young to understand what's been going on.
I've not used anything other than an ovulation app so I technically don't know my exact dates I've just gone by the two periods I had and DTD a lot 🙈 but it is still early days so I'm really trying not to get my hopes up. It was just so hard as around my due date everyone in the world seemed to be having babies or announcing pregnancies but I'm not begrudging anyone their happy news I'm just sad for myself but I'm confident my time will come again.
It's nice to be in the company of people in similar situations, this isn't something I'm telling people in much detail in real life right now x

MrsLBear · 10/07/2019 11:30

I'm so so sorry to hear of your loss @largepinotplease. Wishing you all the best on this journey.
Your so good for holding out. I'm determined to just get myself to 10dpo before I test. Luckily I don't have any frers at home so can't be tempted until I buy some.
Did you use opks to detect o day?
