Line eyes, could this be positive?

My first time posting, could this really be positive? It's a FRER, and I can see a faint second line? Is it just my eyes? DH can't see a second line.

I didn't get my BFP until 9 days after AF was due so try not to worry xx

@LookAtThatRedSheep, I had another negative FRER last night but still no sign of AF... although I think I may have diluted my urine too much by drinking too much water beforehand. I've not done one today and I'm not going to do another until Friday, unless AF arrives in the meantime. Hopefully I'll have some news for you then!

@LookAtThatRedSheep I'm busting myself being out and about! If I was at home I think I would have caved already! I think in a way I'm scared to do a FRER because the one I did 2 days ago was negative... I don't want to be disappointed again, but I suppose you are right if I got a positive on an IC then surely I should get one on a FRER. I'll try and wait till the morning, but I may well give in and do it this evening, I'll update you all whatever happens Smile

Ooh I’d do one now - how can you stand to wait?
If you’re getting a positive that obvious on an IC then you won’t need fmu for an FRER

Thanks @Pizzaaddict! Maybe I didn't I cant remember, but I'm glad it's not just me! I'll take another FRER in the morning just to check, but surely if it's coming up on an IC then it'll come up on FRER because and IC needs more HCG to show a positive doesn't it?

Definitely and darker than the first test. Maybe the second test you didn’t dip for long enough?

So, I've been feeling really down about my previous negative on a FRER 2 days ago, but still getting some pregnancy symptoms. I thought I was just imagining things, but I took this IC this morning just to prove to myself I was being stupid, and that's definitely 2 lines isn't it? Not even a squinter I don't think! Can anyone confirm for me please so I don't think I'm losing the plot?

Line eyes, could this be positive?

Sorry it wasn't your month. I would definitely say it was a chemical - I've read that you often get a surge of Hcg when the embryo first implants so perhaps implantation didn't complete this time.

It will happen for you I lost 2 babies at 7 and 14 weeks I'm currently looking at my beautiful 7 week old. So worth the wait. Look after yourself, have a drink and some crappy food! xx

Well, now I dont know what to think... I waited 2 days and took another FRER which I thought would have showed up something, hopefully a little darker than before. But nothing, this looks like a BFN to me, I could see the line (all be it faint) straight away before but on this one nothing, and this is FMU too. Opinions? Was it chemical? Or was it just wishful thinking from the start?
Feeling pretty down about it all, really did think I'd got my BFP.

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted I'm 9 days PO, I will do my other FRER in a couple of days I think and a CBD in 5 days. I'll update here, hopefully it sticks!

@RedFox695 how many DPO do you reckon you are? If you are only 9/10 DPO I would wait until at least 13DPO

Thankyou everyone! I'm so glad it's not just me seeing things! I think DH thinks there has to be a second strong pink line for it to be positive, hopefully after reading this he'll believe it's not just my eyes!
@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted so do you think if I test again in 4-5 days with a clear blue I should get a positive digital?
@HoppyHop thanks! I normally struggle with line eyes posts too, probably why I didn't believe my own!

I doubt you will get a positive on a clearblue digital just yet - First Response have a sensitivity of about 6hcg whereas clearblue is 25 - if hcg doubles every 48hours there could be as much as 4 days between getting positive first response and positive clearblue digital

Defo a line just be careful with CB digital it could say negative, doesn't mean your not pregnant just requires more hormone in your urine x
