I know this is very likely a negative result but it’s a little darker than a few days ago so am I likely to ovulate soon???

I can't even remember what the end of a period feels like because I thought I had ha day period back beginning of this month but it was super light , more spotting, and now I know this was a proper period but how do I know when it's coming to an end as I'm slightly spotting now (sorry tmi), it's not a full flow, but does it go more of a discharge ? I don't want to assume it's finished, DTD and it not end pleasantly lol...

@Itsemily that’s good! Least you have a regular cycle, mine last 5 days too!

I’m hoping this month is it but I’m reluctant to get excited as I’ve been pretty stressed and just asked dp to dtd with me and he says he’s tired so gone for a nap 😂 we will see....

Apparently my app says ovulation due around 28th so reckon it’s pretty close, as my cheapky opk was quite dark... so maybe sooner! Xx

@sunflower2019 woohooooo haha. That's good. Usually you will get a flashing smiley for roughly 5 or so days, and then it should come to a static smiley. Keep testing but only once a day in the AM to get accurate results.
I am going to start testing with my CB digital in 3 or so days. My period came back a bit more today after no bleeding as of last night and this morning, suddenly felt something this afternoon-good job I was protected! So it does look like my AF is 5 days like the old days!
So I am going to start doing my OPK's in a couple of days. Now you get cracking with DTD! xx

Hey girls, so I just got my first flashing smiley on the clear blue 💗 dunno why I’m so excited! I’m thinking I may ovulate over the next couple of days? Not sure how it works! Weird as I done one this morning and nothing and now on a whim tested and it’s a flashy! Was starting to worry I was infertile as just getting a circle! Done a cheap opk too and there’s a line but it’s not quite there yet.. so all looks about right!

How is everyone? Had a few drinks last night and a late night so feeling a bit 🤪

@eastview did you get af?? Any news?

@LazyDogFox I was like that too when I jumped on here ! I read the whole lot thinking it could’ve been me from the start lol ! We need some luck here .

I feel the same, I felt naive when I realised how much goes into it . I wonder how our parents our grand parents managed 😂😂
I used OPK’s cycle one , going into cycle two now . AF much lighter today so I’m going to start testing ovulation in about two days . I find clear blue much easier than the strips . But I’ll let you know this month - I might change my mind depending on which way it goes .

Just started using this clear blue thing and it’s already confusing me, not sure I like it! Because when I do cheap opks they come up with gradually darkened lines and this just has nothing.. so I’ve done both today and apparently I’m not in my fertile window although my cheap opk has two darkish lines but not quite positive 🙄😫

Oh well.. just gonna relax and try not think too much about it all.. driving me crazy 🤦🏽‍♀️

Thank you! I’m generally quite overwhelmed by all of the information about conceiving. Temperatures, cervical mucus, OPKs... it’s all so daunting!
I haven’t used them so far but have bought some ready for my next cycle I mostly just want to know I’m definitely ovulating! Do you use them? Have you found they help at all?

I’ve been quite lucky since coming off the pill my periods have been quite regular with a shortish cycle (27 days). So that’s all I’m clinging to at the minute, at least I’m regular!

I just feel a bit daft and naive because I didn’t realise how hard it was trying to conceive. It’s emotionally draining and I’m only on cycle 3! Hats off to those trying for longer! x

It’s been mad, thought it would be easier than this, we definitely need some luck on this thread 😂

I think it must take a while for pill to get out of our systems, although I must say a couple of years ago I fell pregnant and unfortunately it didn’t go any further but I fell pregnant the first month after coming off the pill - this is the first time I’ve ever disclosed that 😭 I must be opening up!!!

I am really suffering today , the bleeding is ridiculous !! Hoping it ends by Friday and then we can start DTD and hopefully get some positive results by November eh !

Sorry what did I miss? Haha! Sorry to hear AF is here @Itsemily :( having cramps the past few days so not sure what that is about. I have some cheap tests here I might do one now as I'm off work today...although probably still too early to use those right 🤦‍♀️

AF is all over the place since my MC so no clue what's happening to my body. Why does it have to be so difficult!?

I’m 32, I’m lucky I have a dd from a previous relationship, which took me all of 2 weeks to fall pregnant 🤦🏽‍♀️ Think the longer I leave it the harder it will get!

@sunflower2019 oh wait sorry I thought you meant how many cycles have we been trying . I got confused sorry . I’m not good with all the technical talk . All I know is I’m back to cycle day one of my period . So it’ll be cycle two of TTC.

How old are you again ? I’m 25. I’m sure DH will understand x

@itsemily well apparently I’m cd6 today then have tomorrow then officially in my fertile window at cd8.. I’m trying not to stress tho as I know that doesn’t help.. just hard as I hate getting af, makes me worry every time something’s up!

I was glad I had my af after pill withdrawal as it body was getting back to normal but now it’s getting boring 😂

Told dp we need to dtd less but I don’t want him to think it’s all about babies too!!!

Wondering if my age has anything to do with it or it’s me worrying... xx

@sunflower2019 my husband and I have said we have a feeling we might get on top of it this month now we know my period is back properly . The coil got me out of sync a bit I think . It’s usually only about 5 days . Heavy for two (well it was when I was a teen. Not had a period in like 3 years because of the coil, and 3 years before than because of the pill) then two days of light bleeding and one of spotting . Fingers crossed for us !

@itsemily sorry to hear that, I’m now waiting for my fertile period... still got a few days! Want this so bad this month, now on cycle 4 I think, Maybe 5 🤦🏽‍♀️

Afternoon,

Hope you are both well! Symptoms are good.. although I seem to have them every month 😂
I’m on the last day of af then in two days I’m into my fertile window 🤞 that’s gone so quickly! Gonna up the vitamins... try lay off the caffeine as much and less alcohol!

Just isn’t easy is it... as I’ve not had any tests and maybe my fertility isn’t as good as it use to be.. just feel silly ringing the drs xxx

I’m suffering from awful sore breasts today !! Never had this! I have had sore nipples recently but this evening my boobs are killing me !
