Just starting out (month 1) and have read all the things about 20% chance each month etc but wondering how long it actually took you to conceive? Is it likely to be faster if you time it around ovulation?

I'm 27 and OH is 30 we are both healthy!

LadyOfTheFlowers · 02/07/2019 17:07

Within about 2 months of trying each time (4 kids) and recently while on mirena
Think H and I were just very compatible and lucky

CookPassBabtridge · 02/07/2019 17:00

beibikeiks · 01/07/2019 00:43

First time - Completely unplanned (he's 8 years old)

Second time - Trying almost 4 years now (1 ectopic during that time) and still trying...

DeadDoorpost · 30/06/2019 21:09

1st month for DS.

3rd month with this one but didn't really try properly the first 2 months. Was more of a "meh". 3rd month was planned and tested

meow1989 · 30/06/2019 21:07

Also I was 27 and DH was 31. I came off non hormonal contraception (worth noting as it can take time for your cycles to get back on track after hormonal contraception)

meow1989 · 30/06/2019 21:05

One month of "not preventing" and 5 weeks after we stayed actively trying. Much sooner than expected!

LorelaiRoryEmily · 30/06/2019 21:05

2 years 7months with ds1. I was 31 when It finally happened. 32 when he was born. I’m 35 now and 13 months ttc dc2 and no joy so far.

WinterRose92 · 30/06/2019 21:00

Had my son at 24, took 5 months to conceive after coming off the pill, didn’t track ovulation really.
I’m 27 now and 31 weeks pregnant with my daughter, this time it took 8 months after coming off the pill. We did track ovulation this time. I think it’s just luck!

Elliesmommy · 30/06/2019 21:00

DramaAlpaca · 30/06/2019 20:55

DC2 first try
DC3 4 months

firstimemamma · 30/06/2019 20:52

First month of trying, we were really lucky.

I was 27, he was 28.

MrsChanningTatum · 30/06/2019 20:48

First DC - 9 months

Second DC - 6 months

Third DC - 0 months 🙊😃 I was 36 when I had her.

YessicaHaircut · 30/06/2019 20:47

26 months, which ended in mc at 12 weeks due to blighted ovum.
Waited for a couple of months afterwards for things to return to normal physically and be in the right headspace and had BFP yesterday on cycle 2!
This will be baby #1. I’m 36 and DH is 42.

megabustravelling · 30/06/2019 20:43

8 months followed by mmc. Came off the pill June 2018 and awaiting bfp again. I'm 29, dh is 28.

FrankT · 30/06/2019 20:25

First time took 18 months (timed perfectly with ovulation every single month). Next two times were first try.

Bythebeach · 30/06/2019 20:15

Unplanned age 26, cycle 1 age 29, cycle 1 age 33. With the second and third I was amazed each time as started trying earlier than ideal timing with expectation it would take longer. I did have clockwork cycles back then
