@ELW85 poor DH and poor you. Definitely WFH today be kind to yourself you're still pregnant there's still a line x

ELW85 · 15/07/2019 10:43

@Lozzlepop @MrsH497 @FlorenceLane @LokiCat @XjustagirlX @Anny27

Thanks all. No AF yet, and I’m doing everything I can to stay positive.

DH has been amazing but isn’t in a good place because his ex wife has chosen today to be the world’s biggest dickhead so he’s really feeling it all.
I’m sat at work close to tears so think I’m gonna go WFH.

Stupid as it sounds, I wish I hadn’t have been so happy yesterday.

Let’s just keep everything crossed that we stay sticky. Xx

FlorenceLane · 15/07/2019 09:43

Please keep us updated @ELW85 xxxxxxxx

Took a test this AM, 12dpo, BFN... Been so moody and emotional last few days, think AF is going to arrive in next couple of days :(

XjustagirlX · 15/07/2019 09:22

Toilet not oiler

XjustagirlX · 15/07/2019 09:22

@ELW85 remember af still hasn’t shown up. I know you will worry though.

Af hasn’t shown up for me but I got myself in a right state this morning as my temp suddenly dipped. It went from 98.4 yesterday to 97.6 this morning. FF has put it as a open circle (don’t really understand what that means though?)

I know I’m going to be going to the oiler every hour at work today to check if af has arrived.

Lozzlepop · 15/07/2019 09:08

@ELW85 I took another test on Saturday and freaked out a bit as the line wasn't any darker than last week but I have read a lot of things online which says there can be varying amounts of dye in the tests and that some people never saw any progression but went on to have healthy pregnancies. I know its hard when you just want to see that darker line but I think we just need to stay positive xx

ELW85 · 15/07/2019 08:06

Thanks everyone. Trying to just get on with it, and hope that it was just something random.

Anny27 · 15/07/2019 07:58

@ELW85 fingers crossed for you. And definitely dont feel bad for telling DH xxx

@Tashdreams i would go to the doctors if thats unusual for your cycle - best to get it checked out :)

Tashdreams · 15/07/2019 07:32

Morning everyone.

I've been quietly lurking in the background this month - congratulations to everyone who got their BFP's & good luck to all in their TWW!

But if a strange one for me this cycle & was just wondering if anyone else had experienced similar.

I'm currently on cycle 3 post MMC in March. CD13 & im still spotting. O not due til cd 22 according to my Ovy & Glow apps, and it's definitely not early O or implantation as we only DTD yesterday & I've been spotting constantly since CD5.

This is our of the norm for me. I've had regular af from the pill for years and post MMC I had two 4-5 day AFs that stopped without any spotting at all. I know everyone is different, but I'm just wondering if I should ride this out or speak to the GP.
It took until approx 4 weeks ago for my hormone levels to get back down to almost normal, hgc of 7, but the gp was happy at that point for us to carry on trying.

Feel a bit of a fraud asking due to lurking for a while, just haven't felt up to posting & wasn't sure where else to ask for the above.x

LokiCat · 15/07/2019 07:30

@ELW85 I have everything crossed that the temp drop is due to something else.
Please don't beat yourself up for telling DH. I'm sure he'd rather know and be there for you instead of not being able to support you.
Thinking of you today, lots of hugs ❤️ xx

MrsH497 · 15/07/2019 07:24

Oh no @ELW85 don't lose hope lovely it might be ok. Did you sleep with the window open or any fans on? I don't know how much of an effect this would have on temp. Thinking of you x

ELW85 · 15/07/2019 06:46

Morning all

I’m absolutely devastated- my temp took a huge dip this morning and my line is much lighter today.
I hate myself for telling DH, and for how excited he was.

MrsH497 · 15/07/2019 06:21

@Mrskcam amazing end to the week!!

Tested this morning at 10dpo bfn but was crampy yesterday and got more pelvic pain this morning. Stay away AF!!

Happy Monday ladies let's make it a good week of bfp! X

Mrskcam · 14/07/2019 22:46

Tonight went better than I could've planned, the absolute shock and excitement from my fiancé was amazing.

Was planning on testing again in the morning with fmu to see if I can get a nice dark like but already seen a difference in my two tests earlier from when I held my pee a bit so I'm not too bothered. At this rate I'm not gonna have fmu as I'm up every half hour for a pee 😂

Lottiepink · 14/07/2019 22:40

@FlorenceLane @Eventrider1 10 dpo today too, let hope it's a good omen 😊 although that might be yesterday's post 😂😂'I am 10dpo today

@ELW85 congratulations,
Fingers crossed for you 😊

@Mrskcam I see it!!! Fingers crossed for you!

MLR35 · 14/07/2019 22:19

@Larrydavid thank you so much for replying! No, but not heavy either I'd say. But I've had nothing other than when I wipe, but even that's stopped now, so literally 24 hours. I'll give it a few more days!

Probably should have asked to join the chat before launching into my story, so sorry everyone xxx

orangeloo · 14/07/2019 21:51

Hi ladies, I'm back. I. Moved in and the last couple of weeks have been exhausting. Finally feel a bit settled now though. I'm so pleased to see we've had two lucky weeks congrats to all BFP's I have missed. Let's hope this continues to be lucky.

I feel like I'm in with more of a chance now I don't have house stress. I also won't be using OPK's this month as OH is away with work a lot. Will just dtd When he's back and if it happens it happens. Feel liked I've missed this thread and missed out on so much haha. Hope you are all well xx

LokiCat · 14/07/2019 21:37

@Anny27 that definitely looks like an almost positive! You should have your peak tomorrow, if not the day after. I use Glow to analyse my OPKs, it's pretty good!

@newgirl89 as said by ELW85, OPKs are really useful for knowing when you're about to ovulate so you can really get down to DTD when it matters most.
There's two types - cheap ones which is the type Anny27 posted. The test line needs to be as dark, if not darker than the control line to get your LH surge. There's also the Clear Blue digital ones, which are expensive but I think some people prefer. You have flashing smileys as you're reaching the surge and then static smiley when you reach your peak.
The CB you can use with your fmu. However the cheap tests work better around 1/2pm, but you can't drink for 4 hours (I think) to make sure your urine is concentrated. Also, it's recommended you test twice a day when you're gearing for a positive, so you don't miss the surge in case it's a short one. Sorry for the long waffle, but I hope that somewhat helps!!

@Kiza I use Glow and FF. I loved FF during the free VIP trial, but as you've said it's a bit useless now! I like that it can interpret when I've O'd with everything I input though.

@Mrskcam congratulations!! Your symptoms leading up did sound so positive for pregnancy. I'm so happy for you and what a brilliant anniversary present! I hope you've had a lovely evening celebrating at dinner and can't wait to hear about your fiancé's reaction.

@XjustagirlX I'm sorry about your bfn. 10dpo is still very early, generally most people don't get a bfp till 12dpo. Fingers crossed you're still in!

@Lozzlepop Ah I'm sure it'll be so lovely telling all your friends at the event!
Your day sounded lovely. I love a good chicken roast! Enjoy your lie in tomorrow! I'm not looking forward to an early start, this weekend has gone so quickly!!

@ELW85 awww what a lovely way to tell your DH! I hope you both have had a great evening celebrating! So so happy for you.
I had a lovely BBQ thank you! The sun came out and it was a lovely day spent with my family 😊

Well it seems like this thread has been very lucky the last two weeks! I really hope that luck continues!! So happy for you all 😊❤️
I'm in a great mood for some reason even though I got a bfn (might be denial 😂). Think I'm just thinking if this cycle isn't the one, I'm ready for the next one to start trying again (this may all change when AF shows on Tuesday..)
Anyway, this has been a huge essay - sorry! I hope you all have a brilliant Sunday night!

Larrydavid · 14/07/2019 21:32

@Lozzlepop it's so good - just the break I need at the moment! How are you?

@ELW85 what an adorable way to tell him! So pleased for you.

@Mrskcam amazing news! They look like strong lines to me! Congratulations 🎉

@MLR35 maybe take another test in the morning if you haven't taken one for a couple of days? Are your periods normally light?

Imjustme2019 · 14/07/2019 21:13

Congratulations @ELW85 and @Mrskcam wonderful news. Xxx

ELW85 · 14/07/2019 21:00

@MrsEG - thank you so much for that! I think it makes sense to stay active but just on a much lower key level?
I’m meant to be at the gym tomorrow but I’ll just see how it goes.

MrsEG · 14/07/2019 20:41

@ELW85 Yeah, I was really surprised. It’s something to do with how much your blood volume increases in early pg, which in turn puts extra pressure on your heart (hence elevated HR, breathlessness etc) so you’re already at a disadvantage before you even start any exercise, and there’s a risk in the 1st tri in your body temp and HR getting too high. She said as it’s just so hard to personally police those levels, she prefers her patients just take it way way back. In her words ‘It’s only for a few weeks, enjoy the rest’. I thought I’d miss it a lot but like I say I’m knackered and don’t think I could even muster the energy to put on a sports bra. I tried one yoga class and felt so dizzy every time my head was upside down I decided not to bother again!

ELW85 · 14/07/2019 20:34

@Lozzlepop - I’m thinking an early one too just because I know what I’m like! There are some available at the end of August so I might go for that :)

@MrsEG - oh really?! Did she say why? I was thinking about doing my classes still but really paring them back. I really don’t want to do anything at all to jeopardise this Sad

Anny27 · 14/07/2019 20:14

@ELW85 thats such a lovely way to tell him :) :)

MrsEG · 14/07/2019 20:14

@ELW85 Ah sounds lovely :) Congrats again! Re: exercise, my consultant is actually quite against the whole ‘crack on with what you’re used to’ and has asked me to stick to low intensity exercise only for the first tri - she says while it’s all relative to the individual, she prefers women to bring it way down until they get to 12 weeks (so, yoga, walking, swimming). I was quite surprise at how adamant she was about it, to be honest. Saying that I’ve been so shattered even the walking has been tough for me so I’m hardly missing it! Perhaps when you book in with your GP ask them and see what they think but thought I’d mention it. When I told her I was a runner she just started shaking her head like ‘Noo!’
