@Anny27 that's the exact that happened to me last month! Got a OPK positive, but no EWCM. Then had EWCM later down the cycle, which is when I actually ovulated (confirmed by temp!).
I hadn't realised it was possible to have two LH surges until I researched it.
As you say though, fingers crossed you've caught it and this is your cycle  xx

I think I've just ordered about 70 ovulation strips though! Ordered the 50 one step that I usually use earlier today and now have 20 free coming as well 😂 I really hope DH doesn't open the packages, he'll think I've gone mad (more so than usual 🙈🙈)

@MrsH497 ah sorry about your BFN. It's understandable to be upset, but 10dpo is still relatively early, especially if you think AF is not due till the weekend. I think anything before 12dpo is quite early. Your CP sounds promising! Fx for you xx

@Lottiepink ah sorry to hear that! I got myself a big galaxy bar today to feel better about AF and cramps. Chocolate always makes it slightly more bearable 😂
Hmm interesting that it has affected others as well! I think ELW85's suggestion may be worth looking into for you as well, especially to lengthen your LP xx

Was thinking tonight that I'm so thankful to have you ladies to talk about all this with. There's very few people I know that will understand this journey, and as supportive as DH is he won't completely understand the obsession/stress. So thank you all - I've got a lot of love for you and hope we can all share positive news together soon 😊❤️

Haha @Lottiepink I've tried a few months now I notice it drop before AF the whole soft/firm open/closed is much harder I find but eventually you get used to it. Sounds stupid but use the same finger, use your knuckles as a guide for the high/medium/low etc

@LokiCat thank you, it's defo not her tho, she's well on her way! The pregnacare I think has maybe affected my ovulation also, but also lengthened my luteal phase! may try other vitamins tho too, see if I can shorten ovulation and lengthen luteal even more, thank you!

@ELW85 my fingers are still tightly crossed for you!! Hopefully it's a sticky one!

@MrsH497 How do you find tracking your cervix? If you don't mind me asking? I always seem to try and it's very high/i don't know what to feel for 😂😂

@ELW85 I'm being a Debbie downer tonight got a BFN this morning at 10dpo been having cramps which is unusual for me pre AF. Still high closed cervix. AF probably due weekend. Am I just too early testing?

Happy to help with absolutely anything that I can! There are some really good OPK strips that you might have gotten free with it, called Ova View? They’re good and I’ve got loads left if this all works out, so will happily send them!

Yeah usually i get EWCM which is why its strange to not have it :/ i will keep an eye on it as maybe i got ready to ovulate but didnt actually

Yeah BBT tracking seems good to make sure you know if you ovulated! I have ordered the thermometer (hopefully i wont need to use it and we get out BFP this month :p)

Do you usually get EWCM? It sounds like you've covered your bases! Temping can be useful for this reason, as it can sort of confirm if you have ovulated. However I know when you're just starting to TTC, it can all seem a bit much. I didn't start temping till the cycle just gone (8). Maybe keep an eye to see if you get EWCM, just in case?

Bit strange, i had an almost positive OPK last night, a positive one this morning and now an almosy positive one. So looks like i had my LH surge and havr potentially ovulated but i have had no EWCM this month strange! DTD anyway just incase it was ovulation

Oh also, Amazon is doing Prime Day offers on the CB digital ovulation tests if anyone is looking!

@ELW85 That sounds very positive. Sometimes being at work whilst trying to deal with this can make it seem a lot worse as well, so I'm glad you're in a better headspace at home.

Oh that's a good recommendation. I previously took the Superdrug tablets, so will get those again and take Pregnacare after ovulation. I already bought a new box so have to finish them somehow! 😂
I also just bought the BBT thermometer you use in the Prime day sale! I'm excited for it to arrive (plus it comes with 20 free ovulation strips) - score!

@ELW85 thats promissing :) it might be that hcg doubles every few days so in a few days it might start to get darker xxx

Afternoon all

I went home and it was much better for my head space!
DH is ok, gradually calming down about his ex, he’s got way bigger fish to fry at the moment poor guy!
I took another FRER and the line is there (not lighter) so I’ve no idea what’s going on. Take it a day at a time.

@LokiCat - it’s definitely b vits that suppress estrogen to help progesterone, so I’m not surprised your Ov was delayed (it did the same to mine this month).
I resumed them after Ov though, to try and help my progesterone so you could try that?
The boots conception vits have a lower b concentration if that’s any help?

@lozzlepop - it’s a glorious day! Definitely too hot for the gym, if the garden is too hot! Can I use that excuse? 😂

So, thinking back to this cycle, I think it was the pregnacare vitamins that delayed my ovulation.. It's the only thing I've changed this cycle. Also, I forgot to take them with me on holiday, so didn't have them for just over a week and I ovulated a few days after I got back! Not sure if they'd be out of my system that fast, but just makes me think..
Did some googling and quite a few people have had the same issues, apparently due to certain B vitamins.. 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️
I know it works for a lot of people, but I think I'm going to switch back to the folic acid and vitamin d tablets I was previously taking.
Hopefully this cycle will be a better one for me!

@LokiCat I’m so sorry to her AF got you but like you say at least you can put this random long cycle behind you and focus on moving forward!!

@ELW85 glad you are home and I hope your day has calmed down a bit by now! You are right we will get there and we just need to keep positive but wobbles will happen as we are only human!

I’ve had to come inside as it’s just too hot out in the garden 😂 (don’t think I’ve ever uttered those words before) and now I have the fun task of taking the cat to the vet 🙈 hopefully he doesn’t kick off too much 😬

TMI alert! I had some spotting today. I’m 12dpo and had a big temp dip. It was really pale brown. When I wipe it’s very pale pink.

I’m clinging onto hope that it’s an implantation temp dip and implantation spotting. It’s probably not though.

I imagine I will know tomorrow morning. My temps will either stay low or go back up.

I usually get stomach cramps but I have really bad back pain today.

@ELW85 aww fingers crossed for you! You dh would rather know I'm sure, to help you through whatever happens

I'm the same my temp dropped by just under .30c which is close to my baseline 😕 and I've been all jittery and not with it today, along with feeling twiny, a little crampy and tired! I do also feel sick which isn't normally my af symptom but the others definitely are, so think by tonight/tomorrow I will be out!

@ELW85 Ah I’m so sorry to hear this. No AF is a great sign. Your temp can fluctuate for all manner of reasons so I’ll keep my fingers crossed it’s just a random blip.

@ELW85 you're allowed to be happy - it's been a stressful journey and one to celebrate when you finally see a result like you did yesterday.

@XjustagirlX an open circle on FF generally means if you took the temp later/earlier than usual or if you've marked that you were sleep derived, as it can affect the temperature.
Fingers crossed AF doesn't show.

AF showed up for me this morning with a vengeance 😩 Gutted, but also happy that I can finally get rid of the long cycle (60 days later!!).

@ELW85 I would deffo go work from home if you can! Don't beat yourself up for being happy its a natural reaction, I do know exactly how you feel though. Please be kind to yourself today, I hope that DH is ok, his EX sounds like a nightmare! Sending lots of love xx
