Hey ladies, last day in the sun for me! Back home tomorrow to do some gardening then off to a country retreat to recover from the partying! Decided to have a good big night out - hopefully by next year they'll be no drinking so gotta make the most of it. Starting SMEP again on Thursday 🙈

@ELW85 I hope that everything is ok - sounds like you're in good hands with your midwife. I can only imagine early pg is a scary time but hopefully it'll be plain sailing for you from now on!

@LokiCat I was just reading your message to @Anny27 about EWCM post opk - I had this last month - had a positive opk then a couple of days after I thought I'd ovulated, loads of EWCM - so I probably missed ov (all that smep for nothing! 😂) I don't temp though so can't confirm.

@MrsH497 sorry about BFN but it's still early. Fingers crossed for you.

@ELW85 If I were you, I’d stop temping now - you’ll drive yourself mad. A second positive test is all the confirmation you need! Has the spotting stopped? Look after yourself over the next few days and take it easy - when I have had spotting rest was advised. Find a good box set and put your feet up! If it carries on, you can get the EPU to do your bloods just to double check they are rising etc. But I really hope you won’t need that :) I hope it is just that embryo getting stuck in there. X

@Lozzlepop 11dpo due AF Saturday ish I think. Was a BFN yesterday so will try and hold out as long as I can.

@ELW85 so sorry to read what you're going through - what a roller coaster. I know it's so hard to get your hopes up, but I really do think the a high temp + stronger line is a really, really good sign. Great news that the midwife thinks it's implantation spotting too. Really thinking of you and hope everything turns out positive for you. Big hugs.

@ELW85 sorry to hear about the spotting, has it stopped now? I would try and stay as relaxed as possible especially if the EPU don't seem concerned over it. I was too hot to do anything yesterday lol!

@LokiCat I know lucky him indeed! Mmmm brekkie sounds lovely! I have been feeling mainly ok, I just have this terrible anxiety that something will go wrong again, I haven't felt that sick yesterday or today and its panicking me, also haven't had to get up to pee in the night yet and trying to remember when that started last time.....think I am just totally overthinking things! 😬I just can't help but worry as we both want this so much!

@ELW85 that does sound positive! Your temps have gone back up, darker HPT and from what I've read brown spotting can be quite common as getting rid of old blood. It also sounds like the EPAU/midwife are on top of things should you need to go in.
It's frustrating that we can't just breathe once we finally have the bfp and other things to start stressing about, but fingers crossed all is okay for you! Xx

@Lozzlepop so tired! Feel like someone has turned my energy off! It's only Tuesday!!
Trying to keep away from the tests and positive CP is good, CM seems good so even though boobs aren't sore and no positive test yet I'm hopeful x

@Lozzlepop - it’s way too hot to work out! I went to the gym last night but just wasn’t up for it given the spotting so DH had to do a class on his own whilst I sat in the corner den.

It’s so strange; my temps went through the roof today (higher than post Ov) and I took another FRER which was much darker.
I rang the midwife this morning to get booked in (after my call to the EPAU last night) and they think it’s just implantation spotting because of the colour (dark brown, sorry TMI!) and that they’d only be concerned if it turned red.
So, I’m just going to try and relax and keep an eye on it.
The midwife at the EPAU last night was awesome - she gave me the direct number of the unit and told me she’d get me in straight away if anything changed.

Do you think I’ve got enough to stay positive about? It’s such a scary time.

@LokiCat he was actually surprisingly well behaved! I think its only to be nice here today and then rain for the rest of the week, DP is off all week so had better get his outdoor chores done today lol!

@ELW85 it was deffo too hot too even attempt the gym yesterday, I do have my stuff with me today but feeling a bit funny today like I keep having heart flutters, I thought it was just cos of the heat yesterday but they have continued into today!

@XjustagirlX sorry to hear this lovely, I would suggest trying for another good few months as the chance each month of catching is so low! Also your LP sounds in the good range!

@ELW85 Just wanted to check in and see how you are doing lovely, that sounds positive. Have you got any more tests to take, could you try a CB digi to make sure? If you feel like a blood test could help I would just go to the EPU, they have always been fantastic with me in the past. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you.

@LokiCat @MrsH497 - it’s a weird one; my temps have gone through the roof today but I’ve had brown spotting since last night.
I had to ring the EPAU and they think it’s old implantation blood (sorry) but to keep an eye on it.
I’d love to relax and enjoy it but it feels like one thing after another.

@Maisy24 at least we've managed to figure out the issue. It does look like you O'd around CD32-33 and looking at your chart it also seems you're covered. Fingers crossed this is your month 🤞🏽😊

@XjustagirlX ah I'm sorry it seems AF is showing up! She is cruel.
I've only had an ultrasound scan to check for PCOS (strangely the day after I got a bfp) but apart from that we've not looked into any tests yet. They do say it takes around 6-12months at least. We started in December and got a bfp in March but unfortunately MC.
I think with all the OPKs/BBT charting we do for TTC, it can take away the fun of trying, which in turn can make it quite stressful.
Maybe try for another few cycles first before looking into things?

@Anny27 haha yeah as supportive as he is, he didn't want to hear much about my EWCM or cervical positions 😂
Only we know how exciting that can be!

@xjustagirlX we are on cycle 2 as well and i know that its perfectly healthy for it to take 6-12 months so i wouldn't worry untill then.

Even though it feels like a lifetime away, it will all seem so quick when we actually do get our BFPs :)

@ELW85 @LokiCat i agree with your soppyness haha. This is such a great support group and helps us from driving DH mad with outlr obsessions and tracking haha

Really sorry to hear that, @XjustagirlX.
But @MrsH497 is right, it’s only a 25% chance per month.
I know you start to feel like there might be something wrong, but it sounds like your LP is great and if everything else is regular, I’d just keep going.
My LP wasn’t the longest and the only thing they would test me for was progesterone and CD3 bloods, which was reassuring.

I know it’s easy to say, but I don’t think you’ve got anything to worry about at this stage :)

@XjustagirlX this will sound harsh but most couples it takes at least 6 months of actively trying. Each month there's only something like a 30% chance of conceiving.

We've been trying since November last year fell pregnant in April miscarried in May.

Give it more time and relax and enjoy it I know it is easier said than done x

@MrsH497 we have only been actively trying for 2 months so I know it’s not long. But our thought process is if there was something wrong I would regret not getting checked sooner. But if we pay for private tests to check things and there was nothing wrong we wouldn’t regret paying. May be we should wait until 3 months?

@XjustagirlX how long have you been trying?

I’m out. My temps were below the cover line this morning. Do it wasn’t implantation it was af. It’s upsetting when I know I can’t do anything more than what I did.

However I’ve realised that my LP is 13 days so a lot longer than I thought it was.

I know people say wait12 months before there may be a biological issue. But how long did you all wait before you either went to the doctors or paid for private fertility checks? I’m asking as my DH as suggested we pay for a check for both of us just in case there is something wrong we would like to know ASAP.

I’d definitely recommend just taking any B Vits from Ov.
If the only B vits you’re taking are in conception vitamins, maybe move to a brand with a lower dose?
When I got my bloods done a few weeks ago, the doc recommended not taking any specific vits (like a B complex) outside of a multivitamin unless they diagnose you with a deficiency.

@ELW85 sorry I'm only just catching up with all the messages, I have my fingers and toes crossed that line keeps on getting darker. I think it will do my friend told me her temp went up and down for the first few weeks! Try to relax and not stress ( even though I know it's SO hard)

@LokiCat that is interesting about the pregnacare delaying ovulation as I've been taking the fertility smart tablets this month and my cycle has been so weird and the longest one I've ever had, I'm usually between 28 and 35 but I am on cd39 and think I ovulated on day 32

I might do the same and just take these vitamins in the lutual phase xxx

@MrsH497 - ah my dear, try and keep your head up :) your apps had your AF date all over the place so there’s a really big chance it’s just too early to test. Got absolutely everything crossed for you, especially with the cervical positioning too! X

@LokiCat - ah I felt really soppy today, so sending all that love right back to you! It’s a tough journey but I can’t imagine what it would be without this amazing bunch - so thank you ❤️

I’ve got to lead a strategy day for my department tomorrow so I’m really pleased I got a chance to work at home today. Tomorrow will be intense but may be what’s needed as a distraction!
