TTC First Baby Thread 20

@Lozzlepop it probably was because I was hungry - had a Belvita soft bake and I feel better now 😂
AF is due next Monday, so just this week to get through!
I completely understand. This is a new pregnancy and hopefully everything will be fine. I have everything crossed for you :)
We spent our Sunday varnishing our balcony. I keep finding bits of brown varnish in my hair even though I washed it this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️

@XjustagirlX I was reading an article about an analysis that FF did (www.verywellfamily.com/implantation-dip-what-it-means-if-you-get-one-1960301). Out of 10,000 charts only 23% of pregnant BBT charts showed an implantation dip, compared to 75% of pregnant BBT charts which didn't.
11% of non-pregnant BBT charts also had an implantation dip..
Yet I always look out for during my LP!

@ELW85 I'm weirdly feeling relaxed this cycle as well (which is strange considering I'm CD52 today and normally my cycles range between 35-37 days). Hopefully it's a good sign!
Although, I just hope it's not the calm before the storm for when AF shows up 🙈😂

I am only cycle day 8 (probably a week away from ovulation) so i am a long way away from AF/BFP haha

@LokiCat - I 100% can’t shop like that either. I don’t do chaos very well 😂

Ah so that’s 4 of us testing this weekend; @LokiCat, @ValidUser @XjustagirlX! There’s got to be a few BFPs in there :)

@XjustagirlX - please don’t worry or look out for the implantation dip - it’s actually more to do with a second estrogen surge in the mid point of your luteal phase, so it’s been mostly disproved.

I’m not sure what’s going on with me, but this is the first cycle I’m feeling pretty relaxed about it all. I realise that this will do a full 180 when AF turns up in a week, but for the moment, I’m feeling strangely fine.

How common is the implantation dip on bbt? I’m going to be looking out for it lol crazy on Wednesday.

@LokiCat ooh the queasiness was my first symptom but kept putting it down to tiredness. When is AF due? We had such a lovely day, I think we are both just feeling slightly cautious about everything right now and don’t want to get our hopes up.

@ELW85 ah your Sunday sounded lovely, hope you had a nice day! Shopping trip was okay, got some nice things but it was so manic! Sales make people go crazy - I walked into Zara and saw half the stuff on the floor/in a mess, so just walked back out. I can't shop like that!

@Lozzlepop I definitely think it was okay that you took yesterday off from chores :) ahh your DP's reaction, how sweet! I hope you had a lovely time celebrating yesterday 😊

Just like @OhMarnie I'm not exactly feeling full of energy but appreciating no sickness! 22+4 so getting there :) Having another scan in the morning as baby wasn't very cooperative for the 20 week scan and we think it's a little girl 🥰 How are you getting on?

@OhMarnie wow 22 weeks already! That has flown in, do you know what you are having? Yes that was one of our best moments too, I think this time we are slightly less excited as we just don’t want to get our hopes up!

@LokiCat Sunday is usually my chore day too but I’m sure a week off won’t do any harm! Hopefully the weather picks up and you get to wear your new purchases

@ELW85 yes the grand unveil has been done although we were halfway through presents and the Asda delivery turned up early 😂 enjoy new car day tomorrow!!

Well DP is thrilled 😁 there were some tears, although turns out he suspected I was doing a test yesterday so I guess it wasn’t as big a surprise as I was hoping for 😂

@LokiCat - we’re going to do the rounds today with my friend and brother having both just moved to the coast, so two lots of dropping presents off!
Then redesigning the bathrooms and maybe some food at some point :)

It was raining here last night! Really hope this doesn't mean the bad weather is returning! I just bought a lovely dress and skirt on my shopping trip yesterday! 😩

@Lozzlepop not too bad thanks! I will be 22 weeks tomorrow and quite enjoying the second trimester, no more sickness but feeling quite tired - not sure where this elusive 'energy' is that my mum told me I'd get 🙄 enjoy telling DP, I was just saying to my DH that finding out we were pregnant was one of the most special parts of this journey (obviously along with the 12 and 20 week scans) I'd love to replicate that moment and feel it again!

A boring day for me, I'm exam marking for GCSE so I'll be tied to my laptop all day! Hope everyone else has more exciting plans!
