TTC First Baby Thread 20

@ELW85 no I am still feeling nauseous 🤢but taking comfort form it that things are progressing well! Haha we have 2 neighbours with hot tubs, (one is a proper hot tub) our next door neighbours are threatening to burst it lol 😂OMG i could eat a chicken pitta right now, no joke lol!

@LokiCat sort of my own fault as I sold our office 😆we will just need to hot desk for a bit! ooooh yum i love a Waga!! Urgh its so annoying isn't it, theres just no need!

It was so so wet last night, we have woken up to a leak and there was water all over the bathroom windowsill which is less than ideal, waiting on a call back for someone to come out and have a look so DP may have to head home. We have a yellow weather warning for rain and thunderstorms for the next 2 days as well 🙈

Just a quick one to say I still lurk 🤓😂 and I've got my fingers crossed big time for some BFPs this weekend! Xx

I’ve got a really good feeling about some BFPs this weekend given everyone’s updates :) it’s feeling like our thread is on a roll at the moment so fingers crossed it continues!

Hey ladies, I'm trying to keep myself busy during this tww - i tested at 11dpo and was negative - boo! Period due today - big cramp, feel like it will be here any moment! I go on holiday on Saturday so at least I'll be able to have some cocktails if it arrives 🍹

@LokiCat i started yesterday on the OPKs and can see the 2nd line getting darker so definitley approaching ovulation i think :) fingers crossed your symptoms mean a bfp :D

@MrsH497 I feel your pain! Went to bed last night and our neighbours over the fence were in their shitty blow up hot tub until 10:30pm I’m not being funny but I wouldn’t even stay out in my garden that late on the weekend when everyone’s bedrooms back onto the gardens 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm being a grump Windows are open I'm in bed as I'm totally exhausted and all I can hear are people in gardens talking SO loudly 😡

@Anny27 yes, we'll keep each other grounded. I know what you mean about symptom spotting, its so easy to get carried away.

@Anny27 I seem to notice every 'symptom' as well and make a big deal about nothing. It ends up being the only thing I focus on, so tried to keep busy at work today to keep it out of my head. The day flew by luckily but I still questioned every twinge in my body 🤦🏻‍♀️
When will you start testing with your OPKs (sorry if you've already answered)?

@ELW85 @Lozzlepop I hope they are a positive sign! I was feeling slightly queasy all day and felt hungry even though I had just had lunch 🤔 I may just be making a mountain out of a mole hill though!

@ELW85 Sunday can't come quick enough!!

@Lozzlepop hope the office move wasn't too stressful! We had a change around our office a few weeks ago and had to tidy up. It still looks like a mess!

@PippaPug even though you had your LH surge on the 17th, you could have ovulated a day or two later?

@Lozzlepop and @mrskcam I dont think I did ovulate later, I used the clear blue ovulation tests as well as the strip ones as well - and I got got the static smiley on the Monday the 17th.

@Anny27 - I can’t test this week as I’m at work and don’t have any tests with me, if my period doesn’t appear by Friday I will test Saturday.

I’m sure it’s because of the wedding - and it’s stress, but I really really don’t feel stressed

@PippaPug test again, you might have ov'd later than you thought or had a slower rise in hcg which some ladies don't get their bfp till several weeks in, in fact my cousin was 12 weeks pregnant before she found out!

@PippaPug I would test again, maybe you OV later than you thought?

@Mrskcam and @anny27 - I tested on Wednesday and it was negative, and that was 2 weeks since I ovulated so I’m assuming if I was pregnant it would of showed up by then (it wasn’t FMU however)

@MrsH497 ahhh its so hard not to symptom spot! I am already dreading this cycles TWW as it is just all encompassing and i cant seem to concentrate on anything :/ hoping you can distract yourself :)

My period is now 6 days late and I have period signs and had them all week but no period - I really didn’t want it over the wedding 😬😬

Morning ladies is it really only Tuesday?! Only 4dpo maybe 5 apps seem to have no clue when I'm due on but I'm trying desperately to not symptom spot or compare to when I was pregnant x

@LokiCat thats what I was thinking, as silly as it may be it gave me hope! A family BBQ sounds fab, lets hope the weather improves!

@ELW85 I hope the valet sorts it out, 14 weeks is a ridiculous amount of time to have to wait! Thanks, I really am taking it as a good sign, also woke up feeling super sick last night, I would happily take all of the sickness 😂

@LokiCat these symptoms are sounding good to me as was pretty similar to what I was experiencing 👌🏻its deffo good to track all of your symptoms!

@Anny27 you will get a +OPK prior to OV which usually takes place 12-36 hours after, I usually do an OPK the day after to see if it is reducing and you should be able to pinpoint what day you OV on.

@PippaPug thanks lovely, it has been a lucky thread recently and I know that theres a few due to test this weekend so hopefully some more BFPs in there!

We are moving out of our office so we have to tidy it today 😒not really how I feel like spending my day, especially as we have nowhere to properly go lol! Hope you have a fantastic Tuesday ladies!
