Hi guys I am 7DPO (I think) and don’t think I’ve done it this month but feeling rather alone and would like someone to talk to about it all!

Only symptoms I’ve had this month are IM BOILING HOT (but it is June), I’m really tired constantly and went to bed at 8.30 the last two nights (but my work is crap atm) and really heavy, sore boobs.

Think I ovulated last Monday/Tuesday and going to test Friday. My periods aren’t back to being regular as of yet after coming off the mini pill so it’s anyones guess.

Would love someone to symptom spot with!

Hi guys sorry I haven’t come on for a while I’m just off on holiday and been trying to forget TTC whilst I was on AF. Hope you’re all okay!

This is my ovulation test tonight @Skyla01.... it’s the darkest it’s ever been so I’m wondering if it’s nearly time to ovulate 🙈

@PeanutButter19 ah Ok, already on it. I don't think you need to panic at all! I think you'll just need to wait for cycles to restart. I know that's not very helpful to hear or anything but there's probably not much you can do right now. Hope that those extra supplements can help.

PeanutButter19 · 30/06/2019 17:23

@Skyla01 I know! I started taking Angus Castus last month, just a small dose and also myo-insolotol or something which I’ve heard is good. I’m just trying to be patient it was all normal beforehand so I’m going to panic yet 🙈

Skyla01 · 30/06/2019 12:47

Oh dear that doesn't sound like the best advice from your GP. Really hope that your cycle comes back soon. I've read on here about things that might be able to help, I think Agnus castus and soy isoflanes (?right spelling). You could ways think about researching that stuff. No idea if it's a good idea or not.

PeanutButter19 · 30/06/2019 11:05

@Skyla01 thanks it really is a pain! I’m so annoyed at the GP not advising, it was about 2 years ago I came off the implant and went to the doctors as I hadn’t had a period in 5 months and wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing by my body which the gp told me to take the pill again (was on it before the implant) I never knew it was all a fake period etc, if I’d of known better I’d of stayed off it as my hubby and I have been together 9 years so we knew we’d be starting a family soon.. don’t think il ever go back on it

Skyla01 · 30/06/2019 09:03

@PeanutButter19 really feeling your pain. It sucks when you want to get on with ttc, but without a cycle as such you can't get started. And because everyone is different there's no way of knowing how your own body will react once you stop the pill. If you are using opks at least you will pick up ovulation when it does happen.

My own cycles have taken a while to come back, make me think I might not go back on the pill until I've completed my family.

PeanutButter19 · 29/06/2019 21:36

Sorry it’s actually glow I use, but as I don’t know my cycles it obviously doesn’t either but I like using it to track my bbt and any ovulation sticks, and eventually af when I get one.. we’re onto 11 weeks waiting

CroissantwithCheese · 29/06/2019 21:01

I’m using Clue on and off for years and find it really great. Has anyone else tried it? I don’t know how it compares with flo

PeanutButter19 · 29/06/2019 17:11

I’m using flow too but unless you know when your cycles and when af is due it’s no help I just like it for recording

Skyla01 · 29/06/2019 12:28

I use Flo too but since I don't have regular cycles it can't predict anything! That's really helpful if you can pinpoint ovulation with physical signs. Hope you get that BFP soon!

rbrum · 29/06/2019 09:56

Hi
Tracking ovulation only by using the app Flo. I tend to get quite noticeable tummy cramps around the time I am due to ovulate so assume that’s ovulation pain (never had it before starting the pill 10 years ago but it’s really noticeable and like clockwork now!) took a pregnancy test last night and got a negative result :( boo!
Thanks for your kind support.

Skyla01 · 29/06/2019 08:06

@rbrum welcome! It sounds like you are doing everything right! How are you tracking ovulation? Congrats on your regular cycle! (I've been off the pill 3+ months with only 1 period to show for it). I wouldn't worry- according to the stats even with a good try at a cycle each month it's totally normal to take 6 months plus. And after that there's often nothing wrong at all, just a bit of bad luck.

rbrum · 28/06/2019 22:42

Hi. I’m new to mumsnet and on our second month of TTC. My period is due tomorrow... and I’ve been getting cramps so pretty sure it’s on it’s way ☹️ I guess I should be glad that my cycle has come back so regular in one way, and I know two months of trying really isn’t long at all, but I will be so disappointed tomorrow if it comes. We DTD around 6 days around the ovulation window... starting to worry if something is wrong!

Skyla01 · 28/06/2019 17:36

My OH had an idea start trying in September but I persuaded him to just for it from March. So glad I did! At this rate we'd be lucky to conceive by September anyway!

@lonelyonee that must be hard with your back problems. I'm very impressed- I sometimes can't keep Up but I have no excuse!

PeanutButter19 · 28/06/2019 16:04

@lonelyoneei was the same I wasn’t planning on coming off it until about August time and now I’m glad I did as still no cycle 🙈

lonelyonee · 28/06/2019 14:20

@PeanutButter19 I came off it in March after 12 years on it. I was hesitant as I thought I'd be one of those people who get caught instantly but nope it's not that easy!
@Skyla01 worth a try to get the right dates for the fertile window. And yeah I know what you mean I have sciatica and back problems so sometimes I'm in too much pain to be dtd but need to try to as much as poss this month! It is exhausting every other day though, I don't know how anyone does it! Haha.

Skyla01 · 27/06/2019 21:56

@lonelyonee Yes I think I will start using opks next cycle to try and help pinpoint ovulation. Only cheapo ones though since my cycles are so long! My first cycle after stopping pill was 57 days. But eventually I got lots of ewcm to signal ovulation, with AF 2 weeks later. I was hoping this 2nd cycle would be normal length +/- cm changes again to help me out. No such luck this time (unless I've yet to ovulate). Very frustrating but nothing to do but be patient. Haven't been DTD much lately but I've kinda given up on this cycle. DTD every other day is ok for a shorter cycle but can't keep it up!

PeanutButter19 · 27/06/2019 21:50

@lonelyonee how long ago did you stop the pill? I’m so jealous of the ones that bounce back and get pregnant straight away 🙈

lonelyonee · 27/06/2019 21:43

@PeanutButter19 yeah I think we're all in the same situation with our bodies trying to get back to how they're supposed to be. We've been pumping hormones into our systems for a long time it was bound to take a while to regulate back to normal. It must be so annoying though to not know where you are at with ov etc... Hopefully you're first AF will come soon. I'm convinced I've not had a proper cycle yet tbh, and I don't think I've ovulated, even though I've had AF 3 times since I stopped the pill.
@Skyla01 are you going to try Ovulation tests? I'm going to start tomorrow I think, I have an order of some clear blue ones on the way but I have some cheap ones for the mo.

There's no harm in tracking what's going on ladies. At least the apps can take the inputted data and give us a better idea of where we are... plus it helps when dating conception & due dates too! Smile

PeanutButter19 · 27/06/2019 21:08

@Skyla01 thanks I’m just so impatient 😂 I wanted to wait for first proper period but now I’m like tracking everything and will go for it if I think I’m ovulating 🙈

Skyla01 · 27/06/2019 20:45

@PeanutButter19 sorry to hear you still haven't had sign of a cycle yet. I really hope you don't have too long left to wait!

@lonelyonee I am cd43, bfn this afternoon. No idea when I ovulated this cycle. Wish AF would appear then at least I'll be on to a fresh cycle. Was hoping cycles would regulate sooner after I stopped the pill in March but no luck so far.

PeanutButter19 · 27/06/2019 20:38

@lonelyonee oh I don’t know what’s going on yet with my hormones I’ve been temping, using ovulation sticks and nearly onto 11 weeks with no sign of any af yet after the pill so I’m just continuing to keep my fingers crossed 🤞 and dtd every other day. I keep getting cramps etc like I’m going to get af then it goes away, I’ve had egg white discharge and surges in my temp too but I think my hormones are just trying to get back in order 🙈

lonelyonee · 27/06/2019 17:51

@Abi58 Well I'm trying despite DP being adamant he has problems with his fertility.
None of which is proven and also he's managed to get someone PG before (although it ended in MC some years ago).

@CroissantwithCheese good! I'm on CD6 today so we're at the same sort of point. Yeah if you work it out it's end of March/start of April, I'd be well happy with that.

@Keepingfaith100 yeah trying not to obsess over it is difficult I'm one of those people once I decide something it has to happen there and then but with this I've no control over when it happens which is soooo frustrating!

@Jadey31 oh god that sounds hilarious! Well at least it's exciting eh! I'm trying to not male dtd into a chore but when you're having to make yourself do it every other day even when you're not in the mood it's a bit meh.

I've been talking to the other ladies at work who have little ones and they tell me all about their childcare and woah. I'm like what am I getting myself into! It's so expensive I'm actually trying to figure out what the hell I would do Hmm
