TWO WEEK WAIT

Hey girls can I join please?? I'm going crazy, 6 days late today (I'm never late) crampt sort of stitch like feelings in my womb area, heartburn and feeling sick with metallic taste sometimes. My period was 18th July I was due on Wednesday just past!

I know my body but I'm getting negatives so my partner has told me to stop talking about it becayse he doesn't want to be disappointed which I get but how can I!! Lol I'm really hoping for a positive soon, super tempted to do one in the morning but think it might be best to wait till the weekend.

This has happened before too, I get the feelings before a positive always. But still can't help the doubt... I keep wiping myself to see if there's blood! Anyway... Fingers crossed for us all xx

@Dollydoo22 please try not to worry, I know it's easier said than done.

I can't comment on implantation bleeding as I didn't have it.

If you got pos opk on the 20th it's safe to guess you ovulated on the 21st which means you got your faint positive on 12dpo.

Just to compare I got my faint positive at 8dpo.

Implantation can be anywhere I believe from 7-12 dpo so as you got your pos later I'd say you implanted later so the baby wouldn't have been growing for as long.

My scan showed me exactly what I thought so it is likely that yours is due to that so please try not to worry. My fetal pole was there but only just and I was 6 weeks 4 days so if you went a couple of days before me and implanted later I'd say that's the reason.

Sorry that's long winded I just wanted to explain why I thought that. I hope that helps put your mind at rest.

If you are still worried the only thing I can suggest is go to your dr explain and show the scan if you got a pic, see if they will do a blood test to check levels are rising? It will still be a good few days before you get and answer but sooner than 2 weeks.

So I'm "Dollie" and need a vent / advise / I dunno why but I just find comfort in these threads!

So I had a mc in December and a chemical in feb and finally 2 weeks ago I got my POSITIVE YAY!

Ok so factsheet...

last period 5th July
cycle length varies from 30-33 days
ovulation test smiley 20th July (PM - the am was negative)
feint positive 2/8/19

• digital positive 4/8/19

So with all of the above info my "Ovia" app calculated I was 6wks + 2 days today.

So being the anxious crazy lady I am I booked a 6week private scan today hoping to be reassured - especially since yesterday after I pee'd (tmi) I had a little bit of spotting and again late last night

Anyway so today I go and had my ultrasound and my pregnancy is confirmed a 6.8mm great shaped (?) pregnancy uterine sac (if I'm wording correctly) and a very strong yolk sac BUT no fetus / fetal pole so my sonographer guesstimated I'm actually more 5weeks and I should come back in 2 weeks...

As you can imagine my mind is now going crazy...
I'm feeling totally anxious - plus after the ultrasound I got some brown spotting! And have had a little more other spotting this evening which my sister thinks could be implantation as I'm more 5 weeks

I guess I just wondered if anyone had any similar experience that ended well? And if looking at my dates that actually the ultrasound does add up and I just miscalculated

Also implantation spotting - anyone had it!?

@Bambii yes! I’m trying to lose weight too, so starting Monday I’m following Gemma Atkinson’s 12 week ultimate body plan. Today, I’ve been out for afternoon tea with my mum for her belated birthday present so I definitely can’t start today! Haha! A month or so off should be good, relax and enjoy it xxx

@emiliet123 😂😂😂 this made me giggle! So true! Now I just pee into a small thing like a plastic cup and dip test that way as long as they are to hand you can open the test without a time limit :)

@Bambii sorry af arrived but glad your positive and can start the next month! A month off sounds like a great idea and while you're relaxed and not worried or focused on it have a bit of fun and you never know 🙈☺️

I have a question... whyyyy do they make pregnancy tests so damn difficult to open? 🤯
You’re stood there, jiggling from foot to foot as you try to hold in a wee you’ve been holding all morning, desperately ripping into the foil with your shaky hands, nails, teeth - anything... before you leg it downstairs to grab the kitchen scissors and just slice it open. THEN you’ve gotta get back upstairs and wiggle out of your PJ bottoms and do the damn thing! Urghhhh! 😩

Anyway, 8dpo negative result for me today, but hey ho - it’s still early days, so I’m going to stay positive! 😊

Hey @Abi58 feeling a little sad today ... next week my twins would have been due ... so a combination of being so convinced this was my month and then the reminder that is wasn’t and I’m just not pregnant is very bold I feel like I’m seeing pregnant women everywhere again.

I’ll be ok. I think I’m going to step away for a little bit enjoy the next couple of months (lose a bit of weight get healthy and enjoy our holiday in August) and then get back to trying...
