Anyone in the TWW???

Hi everyone,

So as the title says is there anyone in the TWW?
DH and I said we would try for number 2 after summer but whoops we've had a couple of slips. I looked at my ovulation app (which has never failed me before to get pregnant) and both times it was in my fertile days.

So here's the confusion.. I apparently was in my fertile days from 8th-13th June.
13th June being the day of ovulation. We DTD 8th June and 11th June. The last couple of days I have had very bad cramps low down. This can't be implantation yet so was it ovulation pains? My CM was snot like some of it thick but also some of it was slippery too sorry TMI!! am so confused, feeling I've missed the boat.
This TWW is stressful. I've never temped or taken OPK's as it's always been quite easy for me to fall pregnant (I've had a lot of miscarriages Sad)
We are lucky enough to have a DD though.
DH is actually quite excited that we could be pregnant but I just don't know and feeling quite impatient!

Love to hear from you guys and your stories too!

Liv x

Hey all!
@MrsHufflepuffMS how are you doing? Are you cramping badly with the bleeding? Urgh I'm so frustrated for you, can't imagine how you feel!!
@Kiza how's things with you hun?
@Treaclepie19 I hope you're on holiday and relaxing and having the most fabulous time 😊

I'm doing ok. I've been really quite unwell and it's depressed me big time. I suffer with depression and anxiety so perinatal have been in touch with me which is good and I'll be seeing a lady on 21st August. Other than that I am just getting on with things, still nauseas as hell!
DD is keeping me very busy and helping takin my mind off things 😊 anyway I should stop complaining really.

@MrsHufflepuffMS when is AF due again?

MrsHufflepuffMS · 08/08/2019 15:59

@Kiza Hey just to update. I'm still lightly bleeding and still cramping a little. This is very strange cos as off tomorrow that'll be a week. Normally, I'm three days very max and heavy one. I'm becoming a bit worried :/
I've taken a test and it was negative.

Kiza · 03/08/2019 18:22

@MrsHufflepuffMS it's understandable you're holding on to hope- we all do it!
I'm sure if you have 1 drink it won't make any difference, my sister didn't know she was pregnant for a while, continued to smoke and drink and my little nephew is fit and healthy as anything!

MrsHufflepuffMS · 03/08/2019 17:10

@Kiza maybe like you say they test the boys first cos it's just easier. Theres just one component to check?
I'm still having a weird one, when I wipe it's kinda like a clear red? Then further inside is a bit more red. I took a test and it was a BFN.
Thing is, cos I'm on holiday, I wanna have a drink! But just cos of that small small small chance, I won't.
I thought I sounded ridiculous when I said it out loud. I'm experiencing a period...and I'm still holding on to hope. 😭

Kiza · 03/08/2019 17:02

Also went to the GP yesterday and they said they do semen analysis before female investigations but the GP couldn't explain why? Not that I'm fussed but just curious.... maybe because semen analysis is simpler and cheaper? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Kiza · 03/08/2019 17:01

@MrsHufflepuffMS sorry I've never had implantation bleeding all the 3 times I was pregnant. I've had some weird blood a few days before period though, this last month I had fresh red blood when wiping in the morning, then nothing all day. Happened 3 days in a row then period came in full force a week early, really odd.

MrsHufflepuffMS · 03/08/2019 10:43

Nothing in the pad*

MrsHufflepuffMS · 03/08/2019 10:42

@treaclepie19 thanks, I don't know if I'm in denial or not. Theres mucus red stuff when I wipe, and nothing in the bad. The cramps feel like I should be really heavy. If this is my period its technically two days early ?

Treaclepie19 · 03/08/2019 10:30

@MrsHufflepuffMS theres a whole range of implantation bleeding! From a few spots to what I had last pregnancy which felt like a miscarriage. I had horrendous back pains and blood like a light to medium period.
That was about 4w and a couple of days after I'd got my bfp.

MrsHufflepuffMS · 03/08/2019 10:11

Hi girls this might be TMI but what does implantation bleeding look like? Cramps are quite bad it feels like things should be a lot heavier then they are. My first day things are normally really dark red where as this is light red... bit different... it's not mega heavy but it's not mega light either.
Thanks
@RoRosmama @Treaclepie19 @Kiza @kiza
Sorry if it's too personal or people might not know. :)

Kiza · 01/08/2019 18:46

@MrsHufflepuffMS that's what I thought but I went to a different gp a few months ago (lived in a different area) and she said we had to wait a year? 🤷🏼‍♀️
Wow can't believe it took your mum 5 years?

@Treaclepie19 hope you have a fab holiday and the weather holds out! A nice relaxing break for you either way
@Mumof4andahalf maybe test again in a couple of days and see if anything stronger comes through?

Mumof4andahalf · 01/08/2019 17:38

@Kiza no not been trying but after 4 weeks there should be no hormone left, I inverted it and you could see it slightly better, it's so hard to get a picture sometimes

Treaclepie19 · 01/08/2019 11:48

@MrsHufflepuffMS oh lovely! I hope you have a great time :)

Thank you, I'm still hoping we will change our minds to be honest.

MrsHufflepuffMS · 01/08/2019 11:46

@Treaclepie19 you're right, do what's best for you. Best of luck with the running :) and enjoy your holiday.
It's my wedding anniversary this weekend so we are going away. :)

MrsHufflepuffMS · 01/08/2019 11:44

@Kiza if you're over 35 NHS website says you can be checked out within 6months of trying. So you can get in there and do those tests. My mother was 38 and 39 when she had her next two. It took her 5 years of trying to have the first the cliche 'she stopped trying' then my youngest sister appeared. So there's loads of success happening.

Treaclepie19 · 01/08/2019 11:24

MrsHufflepuffMS I think its just all too much strain on us. All the tests and worry if we did conceive. Not sure we're up to it :(

Thanks :) Holiday monday!! And I ram for 20 minutes last night 😁

Kiza · 01/08/2019 11:16

@MrsHufflepuffMS sure, I'm 39 in 2 months and DP is 36, we've been trying since sept last year but on the advice from friends are going to fib slightly to GP as they won't do anything until you've been trying for a year.
I know there's also approx 3 month wait for tests anyway.
I've had 2 mc, we are both fit and healthy, vegan, don't drink or smoke and my cycles are regular so in theory we should be pregnant by now! 😫
This month we've started co-q10, selenium and DP is also taking vit e just in case.
Plus acupuncture is costing a small fortune!

MrsHufflepuffMS · 01/08/2019 11:00

Hi @Kiza , can I ask (or can you remind me) how long you've been trying?
I'm 27 DH is 37 and this is our second month trying. I wanna know of there's a problem but I think it's to soon for a GP to think it's a problem.
Plus I'm over weight so I feel like a Doctor won't be symptomatic.
I know it's still early days, but why does it have to be so hard?

Good luck with your tests. Xx

Kiza · 01/08/2019 10:15

Hi @MrsHufflepuffMS good to hear from you.
We've had a couple of months off from trying and I'm at the GP tomorrow to ask for tests for us both just to rule anything out given our age and how long we've been trying.
@Treaclepie19 can completely understand feeling nervous about trying again, it takes so much out of us all. Have you tried acupuncture, I'm having a course of it currently after lots of recommendations from friends.
@Mumof4andahalf Sorry to hear about your recent MC, I can't see a line on the blue test, had you been trying during ovulation following your MC?

Mumof4andahalf · 01/08/2019 09:31

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I'm in the tea or not! Had a mmc 4 weeks ago and not had a period since but should be due today, tested today to ensure no hcg was left and got this? The test with 2 lines is an opk but I'm sure I can see a faint line in the other

Anyone in the TWW???
MrsHufflepuffMS · 01/08/2019 09:16

@treaclepie19 sorry to hear it's getting to you both. It would be getting to anyone with all you've been through. Would you continue to not use protection and not actively try?
I read you've got a holiday coming up ! That's great and I did C25k once, it really is great. :)

Treaclepie19 · 01/08/2019 09:08

@MrsHufflepuffMS wishing you all the luck ❤
Well I'm on cd6 so should be getting ready to start ttc but we may not be trying at all now. We're both very nervous given our history and DH isn't sure he can go through it all again.

MrsHufflepuffMS · 01/08/2019 08:55

Hi all, I'm back.
So I've been much more chilled out this month until about 7dpo. And I've been doing daily pregancy tests. It's now about 10dpo and it's BFN. I feel like I'm out, I've not really has symptoms apart from cramps. But I had the same last month so I'm kinda not counting that...

How is everyone feeling? @RoRosmama @Treaclepie19 @Abi58 @SwimmerGirl40 @AcesHigh666 @LA89 @ClaraLane
