Not testing until July

Anyone want some support in holding off with taking pregnancy tests?

My AF is due Tuesday 25th June but I will hold off on testing for two reasons... To avoid disappointment, and also because I have probably got a job interview the following week so would prefer to focus on that before finding out.

To anyone who joins... When is your AF due? And when will you test?

I will probably test on 1st July if no AF has shown up by then.

@mumof1hants I think you're even more strong to have them in the house and not use them. If I had bought one today "for later" I would have used it already!

I'll join you! My cycles have been out of whack since coming off the pill. Currently about cd40 but no idea when / if I've ovulated. Last cycle was 57 days... So I've no idea what's going on but there is a chance I am pregnant I guess. I've got a work trip 1st week of July which might involve some socialising, so planning to test before I leave just in case!

mumof1hants · 23/06/2019 19:26

@ChikiTIKI I'd never heard of the vivid dream thing before!

You're good! I have a stash of tests at home already including a FRER... I'm actually not tempted to do it though. Got to stay strong!! X

Usually when not pregnant, I don't remember dreams that often but when I do, I can always figure out what caused the dream. Usually an event from the day, something I watched on to before bed, etc. But when pregnant I get weird vivid dreams that seem to come from nowhere! And I've been having them every day for over a week now. Maybe about 9 days. AF due on Tuesday...

So exciting that others are getting the vivid dreams too. Will be interesting to see if theory holds up!

I went to the supermarket today and didn't even think about buying any tests!! :)

@aprilclimbs I think I'm at exactly the same stage as you!

mumof1hants · 23/06/2019 16:10

Now you say it I had several really weird vivid dreams last night!!! X

aprilclimbs · 23/06/2019 15:48

Hey ladies I'm due af on the 3rd of July and I too have been having really vivid dreams! I think I am about 7dpo

ChikiTIKI · 23/06/2019 15:41

To clarify, I have been having loads of very vivid and some also kind of weird dreams for over a week now. Every night!

Hi everyone!! Glad to have some others in the same boat :) I will check out the July bus thread too. I assume it's quite big. I find it hard to join a big thread, I find it hard to keep up!

I keep thinking I must be pregnant.... But I always think that! The vivid dreams is what's got me convinced this time. Only ever remember having that when pregnant. Been feeling a bit sick today too. Thought I was going to be sick when eating my breakfast!

Hi,
I'm due AF anytime from weds onwards. I'm 9dpo.. however I'm not going to test until 1st July. Last month I tested on the day AF was due and got a BFN. AF was then 3 days late and I was in a foul mood the entire time so I'm going to wait it out! The disappointment is soul destroying.
You're welcome to come & join us on the July bus... a few of us are waiting to test then xx

Bezalelle · 23/06/2019 13:14

My AF is due 3rd or 4th July so I won't be testing until then. Symptom spotting like crazy though!

shutyourlittleface · 23/06/2019 12:37

I meant, very earliest

shutyourlittleface · 23/06/2019 12:37

I'll not test until the 1 July at the very latest

ChikiTIKI · 23/06/2019 08:17

I probably started this a bit early... Anyone tempted to test next week but holding off until July (or trying to!) ?
