Not testing until July

Anyone want some support in holding off with taking pregnancy tests?

My AF is due Tuesday 25th June but I will hold off on testing for two reasons... To avoid disappointment, and also because I have probably got a job interview the following week so would prefer to focus on that before finding out.

To anyone who joins... When is your AF due? And when will you test?

I will probably test on 1st July if no AF has shown up by then.

@BezalelleBezalelle Hi!
Good to have someone at the same stage as me!
Have you had any cramping? The past few hours I've had some cramping down there. Not sure if this is an AF sign or a Preg sign. I never cramp more than a few hours before my period comes.....

Bezalelle · 03/07/2019 08:32

@CatLover210, I'm at about the same stage as you, and I also have a lot of egg-white-looking CM. I'm usually really dry in the run-up to my period. Last night in bed I got really shivery and had to get extra blankets. Weird! Boobs sore too.

CatLover210 · 03/07/2019 08:14

I’m on 11DPO today.

Sickness only got worse yesterday, was especially bad after work 🤢🤢🤢.

Thankfully haven’t experienced sickness so far this morning!

When I went to the toilet just before I wiped and there was a lot of creamy almost egg white looking CM. I’m on CD 24 today and I’m usually dry during this phase of my cycle. What is my body playing at!

@mrssunshinexxx I'm posting from my phone and can't see a paperclip! Will try and get on laptop tonight x

mrssunshinexxx · 02/07/2019 09:42

@Firefly1992 click on the paper clip icon x

Firefly1992 · 02/07/2019 08:58

Hi all, this is my first post and I'm hoping someone can help tell me how to upload pics?

I'm only 6 dpo but tested as I have been having twinges, sore boobs and back ache.
I think I can see the faintest line!!!

CatLover210 · 02/07/2019 08:40

I'm on CD 23 today, 10DPO, due on Friday as recently my cycles have been 26 days. Started to feel extremely nauseous on the bus home last night to the point where I started tearing up because I felt so sick and was terrified of throwing up on a bus (with nothing to be be sick into!). I've never been so desperate to get off a bus.
Getting off the bus and being able to stand still with air somewhat relieved the sickness but I still felt quesy for a while after that. It went away for a little bit then came back when I was eating my tea later on.

This morning it happened again. On the bus to work all of a sudden became incredibly nauseous and thought I was going to be sick. However it didn't relent this time when I got off the bus so I sat in the toilets for a good 10 minutes before I started trying to calm myself down. This has subsided a bit now but still don't feel too good.

Yesterday and today so far I've had occasional funny feelings in my boobs, like a throbbing and sensitive sort of feeling, but I haven't had pain like I was having a few days ago.

I honestly don't know what to think. The day before I get my period I always feel nauseous and sickly, but never to this extent. I'm also not due on til Friday. My cycles were settled at 28 days, but then two cycles ago I was 27 days and then last cycle was 26 days.

I'm not sure whether to test Friday or Sunday if I still haven't came on. I could test on Friday and get a negative but my cycles might have returned to 28 days ago so I would test Sunday..... blah this is all so confusing!

Bezalelle · 02/07/2019 07:05

Morning all. How is everyone?

I resisted the temptation to test again this morning. I'm just going to wait it out for the next couple of days. AF due on Thursday.

helpasisterout · 02/07/2019 07:05

I'm now on CD44 (last cycle AF arrived on day 45) sore breasts which I never used to get for my period but just too scared to test anyway so put any tests I have in a box in the garage 🙈

Been having weekly bloods to discover progesterone levels as doc didn't think I was ovulating and have gone from 2.3, 2.8 to 7.8 so will discover this weeks results tomorrow at 8.30, I think by EWCM and sex drive I maybe did ovulate aprox a week ago but who knows! Now a bit constipated and slightly crampy belly. Yet I am still allowing myself to imagine a miracle result?! Good luck to everyone!!

ChikiTIKI · 01/07/2019 17:44

@Twitwooo I'm sorry you had to go through all that stress!! Gosh it's awful isn't it :(
Glad you're alright now although I'm sorry it's a bfn.

I have decided that now, for me, if i ever get any symptoms at all before AF shows up then I will assume that I am definitely NOT pregnant. Hoping we all get BFPs soon. I am going on a short holiday this month which my husband unfortunately can't attend and I've not checked the dates but I might be out this month anyway. Maybe it's best to have a month off from trying and think about my heavenly baby in what would have been their birth month :)
Xxxx

Hey Girls.

I'm convinced AF is coming on Friday. Not that I have any symptoms of AF coming, but I wouldn't have any symptoms of AF coming until the night before or sometimes even just a couple hours before she arrives. I just don't think I'll ever get pregnant again Hmm.

My constipation stopped on Friday. So I had constipation from day of ovulation (Sunday 23rd) to Friday 28th. From ovulation day I also have had breast pain that got worse and worse day by day and peaked in terms of pain levels on Saturday 29th. They seemed to have calmed down now.

No idea what the boob thing means. I don't wanna jinx myself but it does seem to have mostly gone away now, so does that rule out pregnancy then?

Twitwooo · 01/07/2019 10:00

Yeah, I agreed so I did. Negative!! What a relief. Feeling all silly now as I was pretty sure we missed ovulation as we weren't planning on trying this month anyway. My first ever 24 day cycle... expect the unexpected is my lesson from this experience.
Best of luck to whoever is still holding out!

Bezalelle · 01/07/2019 09:43

((hugs)) @Twitwooo - that sounds really stressful.

If I were you I'd probably take a test just to have some idea of what's going on down there.

Twitwooo · 01/07/2019 09:14

It seems I am relieving the same nightmare as @ChikiTIKI . Was about to cave in and test this morning but as I was peeing there was some pinkish brown goo to go along with it. I am cd25 and my periods are a regular 27 days like clockwork (even exactly 27 days after mc). I had something similar with my mc of course... and now I'm terrified. Don't know how to play this, which one of the three scenarios this could be... should I test or not... would it matter at all if I did... what a god damn mess.
To add to it I have an important meeting today which I probably shouldn't show up to while sobbing later.

I think I'm just going to tell myself this is my period and give it time even though I have never had a 24 day cycle before in my life

Bezalelle · 01/07/2019 09:07

It's awful isn't it, @b0bbb1n? I'm so impatient!

I'm sitting here now wondering what could explain my symptoms if I'm not pg - sore lower back, nausea since ovulation, aversion to certain foods/drinks. I really should step away from Google and get on with some work.

How's everyone else doing?

b0bb1n · 01/07/2019 08:51

I had a period starting on the 1st or 2nd June, so I will be testing on Wednesday if af doesn't arrive by the 1st or 2nd July. It's hard waiting though, 2 more days seems like forever!

Bezalelle · 01/07/2019 08:39

Ok - I'll try an FRER!

The cheapies are much smaller than I thought they'd be. So flimsy! Watching the dye creep up was agonising Grin

x

mumof1hants · 01/07/2019 08:32

I would try a FRER... I don't think the digital Sade as sensitive & I don't trust the cheapies! You never know!! X

Bezalelle · 01/07/2019 08:05

Argh. BFN on all three tests. I did a Clear Blue digital, and two cheapies.

AF not due until Thursday.

Is there any hope for me this cycle, do you think? I was so sure! If I'm not pg, I think I'll need to see a doctor about the nausea and abdominal pains I've been feeling.

mumof1hants · 01/07/2019 07:53

Good luck @Bezalelle!!! Let us know!! Xx

Bezalelle · 01/07/2019 07:49

Right - it's officially July, so I am finally going to test now. Feels like these past two weeks have dragged on forever!

ChikiTIKI · 30/06/2019 09:40

Sorry about AF showing up @Skyla01

OP posts:
mrssunshinexxx · 30/06/2019 09:02

@Skyla01 ok thanks
My plan this month it to get some his and her pregnacare tomorrow stop my folic acid and start taking that and dtd every other day If we can from cd 10 to 10 days after ovulation.
Not sure how likely this is when dh works away all over the place but I will try my best! X

Skyla01 · 30/06/2019 08:59

My AF arrived yesterday. Actually pleased to see her as this cycle has been long & confusing and I'm really keen to have a fresh start and do things better this time!

@Bezalelle it depends on whether you mind getting a bfn or not. If I'd stuck to the point of this message and not tested until 1st July my AF would have gotten there first and saved me a negative test! I'm also conscious of how many people get chemical pregnancies on here so I'd like to avoid that too. I'm hoping I can be stronger and hold out on testing next month. It's very hard when you have tests in the house though!

@mrssunshinexxx I think perhaps all the apps use a slightly different algorithm so that's why they come up differently? Although I agree you would assume they'd be more similar! I use Flo to track info, but wouldn't rely much on its predictions though. The first day of your period is cd1.

throughthemountains · 30/06/2019 08:42

@mrssunshinexxx I'm having the same issue, too. Curious for an answer!
