I was induced so the day b4 i made my beautician fit me in the midwives were thanking me they said that it made the crowning process alot easier. LOL and i had two stitches so the doc was very impressed lol again

Tessiebear · 17/09/2004 12:16

LOL Tania - those poor beauticians must go through it - mine said i was one of the bravest she has seen!!! Shame my midwife couldnt say the same!! Did you have one done before your last labour?

Tania2 · 17/09/2004 12:12

Well BeckiF i hope it was worth it and it works!!
Tessiebear if you do it at least every 4 - 6 weeks it isn't so bad but that is coming from someone who leaves it to the 6 - 7 week mark and nearly kicks my beautitian in the head everytime which reminds me i must make an appointment LOL

Twiga · 17/09/2004 12:09

Hi pamina3, thanks for your comments, I've been scouring the site for soemone who has had similar experience - yes am thinking cycle is up the spout after mc - bit confused though as would have thought first cycle would have been more screwy rather than second. It's all very annoying as if I'm not pg I just want to get on with ttc and I've no idea where I am just now (if cycle was running normally than would be approaching fertile time again, nearly). If nothing has happened by tues then I've got a docs appt, but have a feeling will just be written off as another neurotic woman! Well done you, sounds like you handled last night really well - one of my friends is due in march, as is my cousin, which I'm finding difficult just now - my due date would have been the 9th March. Emotionally all over the place at the min, this just feels like insult to injury, another month, no pg and screwed up cyle .

Tessiebear · 17/09/2004 12:02

Never felt pain like it Tania - other than child birth obviously! Very impressed at your getting it done whilst pg!!! I see what you mean about leaving it for a day before sex - it is a bit tender!!!!! I think getting it done again will be hard because i know what to expect!

BeckiF · 17/09/2004 12:02

Tania - because I love him so and he is so good! I didn't actually join in much, but the way I look at it is that it was another chance to get some wrigglers in me! LOL!

Well done pamina that must have been so hard to be happy for her though. Sounds like you have a great bunch of friends too. Hope you fall pg soon.

Well done tessiebear for getting the good old waxing done. I wouldn't have it any other way even got brizie done when i was pg with ds Dr was very impressed!!! Tessiebear · 17/09/2004 11:02

Thanks for the advice Hulababy - that means i am now on CD2 (as opposed to CD7!!!)
Have been thinking of things to get my DH in the mood for some serious BD'ing next week and this morning (to spice things up) i went to a beauty salon and had a "brazilian Wax" - My god it hurt!!!!

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 10:04

BeckiF · 17/09/2004 09:52

p.s.

Has anyone heard from tex111 recently - I just want to check she is ok

sweetheart · 17/09/2004 09:43

Woohoo, I'm back!!!

Had a day off yesterday and missed MN sooo much. Sorry to hear of all the BFN (it's taken me and hour and a half to read everything I missed from yesterday!!!!)

Great news on the maternity packaage Runtus, you'll have to tell me how you pulled that one off as I'd quite like to negotiate with my boss. He is always telling me what a valuable member of staff I am and that he's terrified of my getting preg - so I think I've got a pretty good argument for more pay

No af here. I think it's probably due on Sunday but my cycles are a bit irregular so who knows??? Haven't had any af symptoms but haven't had any pg ones either and dh and I weren't exactly good on the bd front this month

Twiga, good luck on Tue. Hopeully you'll be getting a BFP!!!

CP3 · 17/09/2004 09:38

Im not too worried about it, if it happens it happens. But i do find it all realy interesting after reading all the comments on here so im alot more aware of everything now iyswim

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 09:25

Sorry CP3. First time at thinking about all this (we just did wait and see with DD) so not sure. But I am sure you can actually OV at any time, and not just around the 14 days. For some people it's earlier, others later.

Only on CD10 so coming up to the right time I think...

CP3 · 17/09/2004 09:09

Im on cd 16 and dont appear to have ovulated yet, is this normal. I have a 30 day cycle at the moment?

Twiga · 16/09/2004 23:59

Night Ebbie, I'm off too, can hear dh snoring from here! Hoping it works out for you this month

ebbie22 · 16/09/2004 23:55

Yeah thats what made me believe This was my most fertile wk{well 4 days}...
Oh the joys of t.t.c...
Is it tues your appointment?Hope it all goes well for you..
Got to get some sleap now so take care and speak to you all soon. xxx

Twiga · 16/09/2004 23:50

Still no af - one of several options: I'm not pg, I am pg, I'm going mad - three is looking the most likely so far ! Ummm not sure about the whole fertile thingy, but I still stand by my instincts over anything else - reckon the best thing is to see the stick thingys as a guide but go with yor feelings too - you could also have a look at the babycentre website which has an ovulation calculator on it which will work out dates according to last af - not good at doing links but babycentre.co.uk should put you in the right place.

ebbie22 · 16/09/2004 23:44

Hopefully ok...Although got my hopes up as thought I was most fertile{still think I am{blush]]and the stick says I wasnt...So not sure what to think,am on cd15...
Looks like you are in two minds too, still no a.f?

Twiga · 16/09/2004 23:38

Hi ebbie, I'm ok, feeling pretty fed up just now, just wish something would happen one way or the other, it's all very frustrating . Going to see Doc on Tues morning if things are still unclear. How's everything your end?

ebbie22 · 16/09/2004 23:35

How rude>>>How are all of you?

ebbie22 · 16/09/2004 23:34

twiga,how are you?

Twiga · 16/09/2004 23:22

Sallie, so sorry to hear your news {{{hugs}}}.

Pamina3, I think I might come and post on your thread too, sometimes feel bad about putting all my rants and worries on here - don't want to put folk off. How are you by the way?

Congratulations, alterego , great news!

Situation still the same here, nothing happening one way or the other - blast!
