Well i am on CD4 and AF is just waving goodbye! I have briefed DH that we will be BDing every day now for the next week and then next Monday (his birthday ) he is allowed a day off!!! My reason for Bding so early is (and i hope no-one condones me for this as i know for lots of people on this thread just want to get pregnant no matter what the sex of the baby) that we are ttc a girl so i am stopping BDing a few days before OV to give the girl "Swimmers" a chance! Dont get me wrong i dont mind what sex baby i have but as i have two wonderful DS's and this will definately be my last pregnancy, i just want to feel we have tried for a girl. With DS's 1 & 2 we BD'd on the day of OV and that was the only time we did it those months, so i am trying a different tactic.!!

My Af is almost over and despite saying that this first month i am just going to see what happens, i have warned DH to get some rest this weekend because he is to perform every day next week (at least once Well I did get a Brazilian for him

MrsWednesday · 18/09/2004 12:26

Hands up all those that bd'd last night

hester · 18/09/2004 10:03

Hi all, just checking in to new thread as I have been away. BFN for me this month ... yet again. Good luck to everyone.

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 22:59

Sorry, I am of no help at all with your query. I am ttc again for the first time this month (have a 2yo DD) and it is all seeming so new again to me. Sorry.

But please keep posting. Clutch away. That's what half this TTc malarky is all about each month. We'll all be around to advice and support each other, I hope!

ShouldKnowByFriday · 17/09/2004 22:56

Thanks Twiga. Just wanted to stay up for one MN reply to my question which you have very kindly done. Off to bed now. Thanks again.

Twiga · 17/09/2004 22:49

Hi Shouldknowbyfriday, don't worry about the straws, they're what keep most of us going and we're all doing it . Not really sure re: your query but would have thought that it would be safe to asume your late now if your longest cycle has been 39 days previously, hpt can sometimes not show until your a few days late (I didn't get a BFP with my pg until four/five days after I was due, got a BPN the day I was due) so if nothing happens in next few days, would test again. If you were trying to work out o dates then you could work out from shortest and longest cycles then take the earliest date from the shortest and latest date from longest and make sure you bd over that time to be sure - that way all bases covered. Hope this is helpful and not too long winded, and that someone with more know how comes along soon, lol .

ShouldKnowByFriday · 17/09/2004 22:40

I would like somebody's advice please. Have been on other ttc threads and then thought I would take a break from posting even though I was still ttc.

Usually have 30-32 day cycles. Have increased to 36-39 of late. Today I am CD 41 and have BFN. Am reading TCOYF who says when stressed you can ovulate late. Am wondering if my cycle is say 42 days, when am I technically late? Or if it 39 days like last month, when would I get a pos result if I were to be preg? No AF, but cramps and extreme fatigue.

You are probably all tutting to yourselves that I am clutching at straws! That's why I stopped posting.

have a great time away...

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 18:29

Have a great holiday Pamina

runtus · 17/09/2004 16:23

Have fun Pamina3 and good lukc with the testing, you too BeckiF..and try not to worry about thw boob thing. It is bound to be your body playing tricks on you again

BeckiF · 17/09/2004 16:18

I finally booked a doctors appt for Monday to get this troublesome boob looked at. It's just very tender and sore ... can't help but think it's cancer but I'm sure it's not (I hope!). As I said before I will try one of those ultra sensitive pg tests when I get home just to make sure!

tell me about it - I keep saying "roll on maternity leave, 6 months off work - BLISS!!!!

runtus · 17/09/2004 15:36

Me too! God I can't wait to be able to take up my new maternity package and go home! Not the real reason we want a baby - but it does help!

sweetheart · 17/09/2004 15:26

It's been REALLY quiet in here today I do keep checking in though - in the hope I'll be able to avoid doing some work.

runtus · 17/09/2004 15:21

where'd everyone go??

runtus · 17/09/2004 13:14

I was considering having a brazilian this weekend actually! Thought it might add some spice and get him in the mood a bit more often.

The only thing that puts me off (and is the reason I have nevr had anything waxed before) is the waiting to re-wax period. I can't stand the thought of having to be stubbly!

ebbie22 · 17/09/2004 12:58

lol cps...Twiga...Im really feeling for you at the moment...Have never had a m/c{thank god}but i know what it feels like to feel the way you are feeling just like so many others on here...
I wish there was something that I could say or do to make the pain and heartache go away...

Im here for you xxx

CP3 · 17/09/2004 12:34

We often do the 5am thing. No chance of the kids waking up and it means we can drift off back to sleep and we wake in a better mood. Im always to tired at night and often crash out by ten. If he tried waking me then id bite his head off ( and i dont mean the head he'd want me to go near iyswim)
