Oh Beckie i hope so, boobs were a sign with me too but that also is an af sign. Mother nature is so cruel. Good Luck

BeckiF · 23/09/2004 17:26

Can I ask a silly and desperate question WHat is the possibility that these period pains could be a sign of pg? Of course it in higly unlikely, but we have been busy on the bd front for the last few weeks, so if I have ovulated there is every chance .... or am I just being hopeful and kidding myself?? Only other symptoms are the agonising growing boobs!

Cobweb, so glad you're happy, you've had such a rotten time with your mc and I know from your posts that you and dh have found things hard going at times. When you make it across to the pregnancy boards, the mums to be after mc thread has re-started and may be a good source of support alongside the due... threads, if you have any worries. Hope you don't find it too hard to relax and enjoy this pregnancy. Really pleased for you x

I still haven't told DH I brought up the subject of what if and he said lets do it after the weekend. We won't have our two DS as they will be at their Granmas and i think he is as nervous as I am and wants to wait until next week when things are calmer to do a test.

Don't know how I am going to keep it to myself, but its also been nice in way. The miscarriage was so distressing for me and then the operation that I think maybe these few days will give me time to adjust to things, although I am so so so happy.

Thank you all for your lovely comments today and hope you all understand my reason. The other thing is that I have been testing loads recently. So when I did the one this morning I just sat there for 10 minutes before going to get a cuppa. Another test in a few days won't make any difference.

I think I am going to use the excuse at the party that I am not feeling well. I have had a cold recently so its not lying in that sense to anyone

Thank goodness for the site so I can let it all out on here.

Thanks again girls xxx

Meet Dh for lunch and warned him that the signs are right ; m,aybe I should have had him come home for lunch

Thaaks Geordie - I will wait and see then if that temp shift does make a big jump over the next few days then.

ebbie22 · 23/09/2004 15:30

Fantastic news beckif, never thought yourd be so happy eh...Sorry to hear your feeling down wilbur...
Thinking of you today..
Happy bdancing to all these who can...xx

wilbur · 23/09/2004 15:26

Cobweb - that's fantastic news - well done. Babydust cocktails all round! Feeling a bit blue myself today as it's the due date for the baby I lost in March . Still, hoping there might be another on the way. I have been charting temp etc this month on the TCOYF software that I got when trying for dd. I love it - although I have noticed that my basal temp is much lower than it was a couple of years ago, does that mean anything? We'll find out if the software's "good chance" of pregnancy prediction is right early next week. Don't feel preg tho, although I am spectacularly tired....

BeckiF · 23/09/2004 15:00

BeckiF · 23/09/2004 14:01

Hi Ladies, just thought that I'd report in that I'm chuffed to of suddenly got period pains! A sharp stab to the left followed by the pain spreading accross the front and now it seems to of settled on the left and is making my left leg ache! LOL! Quite boring news in the scheme of things but as I haven't had af for 12 months, it's major news for me! Reckon I'll get af either for the party or the holiday! Sods law eh?!!

MINNIE1 · 23/09/2004 12:50

We should tie our dp / dh to the bed over our ovulation time...

Tessiebear · 23/09/2004 12:31

TBH its a releif to be past OV, then at least their work is done for the month and its just down to us to sit and wait (and hopefully wave a positve hpt in front of the poor tired DH's faces!)

ebbie22 · 23/09/2004 12:29

ebbie22 · 23/09/2004 12:24

MrsWednesday · 23/09/2004 12:22

This place is like a confessional area for TTC nutters! I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

ebbie22 · 23/09/2004 12:19

What are we like...Hulababy what the hell are you doing on here then...Get back into that bed...

Geordie · 23/09/2004 12:18

Hulababy,
have you got a link to your chart....having charted for two years.....I know a fair bit!! I have also internalised the book Taking charge of your fertility by toni weschler- the temping bible!! My temps vary between 36.4ish and 36.1 but have varied by 35.8-36.5 in the past- that's before 0...following 0...my temps are normally well over 36.7...up to 37.2. Hope that Helps!

Hulababy · 23/09/2004 12:16

CD 16 today Tesstiebear. No temp change but other signs are suggesting right time!

Tessiebear · 23/09/2004 12:13

I really am a normal and sane person in RL!

Tessiebear · 23/09/2004 12:13

Mrs Wednesday - it is such a releif it isnt just me! The worst of it is until this month i was still on the mini-pill and convinced i was pg (i used to take the odd one a few hours late and convince myself that it could be an "accident")
