Having had a mmc and surgery at the start of May, I'm now in my 2ww, 8dpo. In my brain, I've totally convinced myself that I'm pregnant even though I have no real symptoms. My cat has been glued to me the last few days which he was the week I found out I was pregnant and I had some strong cramping in my abdomen a couple of days ago. So completely irrational stuff!!

During my previous pregnancy I had sore boobs at 9dpo and I'm fretting that they feel normal today. I keep staring at my temp chart (as if I'll get some kind of ridiculous answer) 🤨. Can someone please talk some sense into me??? I know that it's a long way to fall emotionally if I get af next Sunday but I am having a totally irrational brain. I have been ttc for a year and I just feel totally desperate.

Hi @Chanel05. I had my mmc in April. I felt very similar last cycle and convinced myself I was pregnant. I allowed myself to start early testing. I was totally obsessed, I'm not sure it actually helped me, especially the brutalness of seeing bfn day after day.

I've decided to only use frer tests and as they're so expensive I won't do them before af is due. I'm not ttc this month as had an hsg as part of my fertility tests so couldn't risk pregnancy and it's been so nice not tracking anything.

If you can try and distract yourself this week and I'll keep my fingers crossed you'll get a nice surprise next week 🤞x

Sorry you went through this. It's tough and difficult.

Did you definitely ovulate last week?
Have you had negative tests following the miscarriage?

I don't want to disillusion you but it can take time for your body to return to a normal cycle.

Some people are lucky and fall pregnant without a cycle but this is rare
