TTC in August Looking for a BFP

Hi,
Thought I'd start a thread for those of us looking for a BFP in August. I'm ttc #2. Have a DS of 3.3. I'm current on CD15 - OD day - with a bit of luck. Have been bd'ing like mad over my fertile days and will continue to do so for a few more days yet. Then it will just be the 2ww. Anyone else in situation?

Hi DHG. Welcome.
I was 34 when I had DS and I am nearly 38 now ttc#2. My husband too is in his 40s so don't worry. Charlie Chaplin was fathering children in his 70's!

Actually I'm CD23... counted wrong the first time!

CHG, I don't think your DH being a little older than you makes much or any difference? My dad is 15 years older than my mum and was 40 when I was born, 42 when my DS was born. And in one of my nanny jobs, again the dad was older than the mum, and he was 45 when their 1st was born & 47 when their twins were born!

I am 34 have 2 dd's and ttc no.3. I am currently on cd28 of 4th cycle.

Thought I might post on here as I think that AF is due any day. Had low dull ache yesteday as normal and started spotting. Was hoping for implatation bleed, but not likely. Will have to test in a few days.

I am worried that I am late in ttc since oldest dd is 12. I am living abroad temporarily and thought that it would be a lovely time to consider ttc before returning to the UK. I have so much more time to dedicate to another child and the environment is lovely.

We have tried everything to make sure of a + result, but nothing is working. DH is very anxious and gets upset when I tell him that AF has arrived. Now I am leaving sanitary protection on display, rather than having to tell him personally. I think because he is a little older than me, he thinks that time is not on our side.

We were hoping that I would be able to start testing after our return from our weekend away, which was an exciting thought, but looks like we know the results already. Well, looks like I will join all those wishing for a BFP in August an those TTC in Augusut too

Hi all, hope you don't mind me joining in. Am cd7 and desperate to get a BFP. Was planning on bd'ing every other day just to make sure I didn't miss 'the right time' but not going to plan - dh has fallen asleep last 2 nights b4 any bd'ing!!. Think I might have over reacted last night though - took my pillow and slept on the sofa - got no chance of bd'ing if in seperate rooms!.
Fingers crossed for you both for a BFP.

Hello again!

In that case I'm CD22 today - get me!

I've got my fingers crossed for us both

Hi KnitterintheNW,
Welcome. CD means cycle days CD1 being the 1st day of your period.
You are obviously in the 2ww like myself. Let's hope we both get BFP at the end of it.

Hello, can I come and play please?

We've just started ttc after getting married a couple of months ago, and should know yes or no sometime between July 31st + Aug 3rd.

I'm 32 and have been a nanny for 14 years, and it's very excited finally 'being allowed' to have my own, that I'll never have to leave when they get too old or move away!

(Can I ask, what are the cd numbers? Then I can join in properly!)
