Thank you so much, @Lozzlepop. Obviously I’m an idiot so did a FRER and was a BFN.
I know I’m not out til AF arrives, but meh.
Pizza required!

Lozzlepop · 18/06/2019 14:06

@orangeloo she tells me I'm mind full of knowledge but her remind her most of it is useless knowledge Smile

MaceyP87 · 18/06/2019 13:23

@Bettythecat thanks for the welcome and yes I am the husband. Luckily I'm extremely laid back and patient, though oh does come close to pushing her luck. But I let it slide.

I'm sure I do the same as what your husband's do and tell her just to relax and don't stress it will eventually come. She has an addiction to peeing on a stick or I do checking the results. Grin Also I mention are you sure these symptoms aren't in your head. Lol

@ELW85 Thank you.

orangeloo · 18/06/2019 13:20

@MaceyP87 hi and welcome also hats off to you for paying so much attention. My DP wouldn't know what dpo mean or a lot else for that matter haha.

ELW85 · 18/06/2019 13:15

@MaceyP87 - welcome and good luck!

Bettythecat · 18/06/2019 13:13

@MaceyP87 welcome! How lovely of you to join on behalf of your wife. We will have the male perspective here too now which will be something different (assuming you are a husband and not also a wife- correct me if I'm wrong!). Ttc is very stressful and the only way to get through it is together- sounds like you are a good team. A few of us here have had miscarriages in the past so we can all relate. It would be quite early to have symptoms at 6DPO but you never know- implantation can happen anytime from 5-12 DPO I think. Fingers crossed this is your month!

@MrsEG just popped on here to see how you're all getting on and saw your BFP! Goodness me you are a fertile couple that's for sure! Congratulations lovely one, we have all got everything crossed for you that this is your 🌈. Good news about your appointment too- let us know how you get on.

I'm anxiously waiting for my scan on Thursday when I should be 7 weeks. Feeling mentally in an ok place even though my symptoms are so minor that it's so hard not to worry and think this is going the same way as last time 😫. Trying to stay positive though as we will know soon enough.

MaceyP87 · 18/06/2019 13:03

Hi all, I'd thought I would join this thread on behalf of my wife and will continue to do so. Some of this stuff stresses her out which is obviously plausible. Especially the TWW. However, she does like me reading her some of your stories here on Mumsnet and successful stories, especially when it came to dpo symptoms.

Anyway a quick run down of us, both are 32 and TTC our first baby. In April we had a miscarriage at 6weeks unfortunately but all passed with no complications. As hormones and mindset in May we just relaxed and decided to wait for the cycle to return and ensured that both mindsets were ready to try again. Cycles are longer than normal around 35-40days. Well my oh ovulated on 12th June, we now this as we use cb, IC opk and BBT. Now at 6dpo and had lots of symptoms and temperature is still high. Symptoms appear from around day 3/4 and been nausea, sore boobs, cramping lower stomach, craving dairy products and fatigue. Although she tells me symptoms are completely different from last time when we had the MC, then again things never are the same.

Good luck to you all trying out there and hopefully get your sticky bfp. Baby dust to all and the two week wait is killing but we have the will power to not test yet Smile

MrsR16 · 18/06/2019 12:32

@Lozzlepop hello lovely! I'm doing well thank you! 14 weeks tomorrow... I have no idea where the time is going! I'm so conscious that I don't go on about me too much on this thread, as I know it's gotta be super difficult for some of you on here, but I like popping in every now and then! Xx

@MrsH497 it's wonderful to see you too 😊 hope you're doing ok today - I know you've had a rough time recently (am definitely not a stalker)

@MrsEG that is wonderful news! Hour by hour's gotta be the best way 😊 I have absolutely everything crossed for you x

ELW85 · 18/06/2019 12:01

@MrsEG - fantastic news!! So pleased for you :)

@LokiCat @purplefig @Lozzlepop - everything crossed it’s just implantation. I was so hopeful this cycle but just feel stupid now.
AF is due Thursday so not long to wait I guess.

@LindyMoe - temps are hard to gauge, but basically progesterone is the hormone released in your luteal phase, and causes your temperature to rise.
If you conceive, your body produces more progesterone to sustain the pregnancy, so your temps rise again or at least stay above your cover line.
If you don’t conceive, your progesterone drops (ready to be oestrogen dominant again to mature your next egg) and therefore your temp drops.
So it’s not perfect, but tends to be fairly indicative!
Hope that helps?

Lozzlepop · 18/06/2019 11:26

@MrsH497 we have 10 windows and the door open and I am still roasting 😂not prepared for the sun today!

@MrsEG thats fantastic news, must be a weight off your mind knowing that progress is being made and that you will have an appointment soon!

purplefig · 18/06/2019 11:00

@ELW85 any chance it could be implantation dip?

@LokiCat so strange you've had another temp spike at 15dpo! Are you feeling under the weather at all? Or sleeping poorly?

@MrsH497 I'd define recommend meeting with an acupuncturist to find out more and see if it's for you.

@MrsEG great news you're getting an appointment and also fab that some of your results are in. Totally reasonable to feel all over the place with it - have you been able to talk about it with DH much?

MrsEG · 18/06/2019 10:10

So good news! My consultant had left notes at the private clinic to say she wants to see me at her NHS practice as soon as possible. I have the secretary at the private clinic liaising with her secretary at the NHS clinic 🙈 and they are going to text me the appointment later. She also said that looking at the system, some of my test results are already back - so hopefully she can go through these with me. For now though, I just need to sit tight (so much easier said than done). I still feel really weird and a bit all over the place about it to be honest but just taking it hour by hour!

MrsH497 · 18/06/2019 09:05

Hi @MrsR16 lovely to "see" you!

@ValidUser your sunflowers are so cute! I'm sending you positive thoughts as always you will get you bfp I believe it.

@LokiCat sounds promising give it a few days and try a frer maybe?

@Lozzlepop my office is cold! Looks lovely out though
Xx

Lozzlepop · 18/06/2019 08:59

@MrsEG hopefully you get to speak to her today but for just now trust that test and the sore boobies 😉 and enjoy the moment!

@Marleym28 so nice to hear from you and that you are doing well!

@ValidUser try not to lose hope lovely, I know its tough but you just need to keep positive ☺️ you are so amazing with what you have already been though and you can do this!! Love your little sunflowers 🌻

@ELW85 sorry to hear you think you might be out, when is AF due?

@LokiCat I don't know anything about temping so can't offer any guidance but maybe give it a few days and try a FRER? maybe you OVd later than you thought? Hopefully the swan has gone to his work so you can make it to yours 😂

@LindyMoe whoop have a fab time at Backstreet Boys!

@MrsR16 👋🏻how are you?

@MrsH497 there's deffo no harm in giving the acupuncture a try 🤞🏻

It is actually warm and sunny today- whats going on?! Our office is like an actual greenhouse- not pleasant at all!

ValidUser · 18/06/2019 08:46

Ah thanks @MrsEG @LokiCat and @ELW85. Sleep did me some good. Not totally optimistic right now, but it'll be ok whatever happens. X

@MrsEG hoping your consultant calls you back soon. X

MrsR16 · 18/06/2019 08:40

Omg @MrsEG huge congratulations! I know you're a bit apprehensive but I hope you get hold of your consultant today and can have that reassurance 😊 I really hope this is it for you! You so deserve it xx

LindyMoe · 18/06/2019 08:29

@LokiCat test again in a few days, otherwise I was 10 days after my missed period and AF arrived day 11 due to my stress.

@ELW85 does that definitely mean you're out this cycle? I've never done the tempature thing, not sure I understand it really.

AF due Sunday, hoping it doesn't arrive but staying distracted. Backstreet Boys tonight!

Happy Tuesday everyone x

MrsH497 · 18/06/2019 07:43

Morning everyone. So I'm thinking of acupuncture anything's worth a try surely? In my crazy little head buying 3 boxes of pregnancy tests seemed like a great idea while I wait for AF!

@MrsEG let us know how you get on!

@Marleym28 lovely to hear from you

Xx

LokiCat · 18/06/2019 07:38

Morning all! Another temp spike today. Not sure what's going on - 15dpo but not feeling any symptoms still.

@purplefig I've always had quite irregular cycles, but once I've detected the LH surge they're pretty much on time. They're usually between 34-35 days, but I had a peak a lot earlier this cycle.

@ELW85 could it be an implantation dip? Fingers crossed you're still in 🤞🏽

@ValidUser not being melodramatic at all, it's understandable to be worried! If you try and keep it in, you feel worse. Really hoping it happens for you!!

@Marleym28 wow 6 weeks! That's gone fast! Have you been feeling many symptoms?

Currently stuck on a non moving train because a swan has decided to make a comfy home on the train tracks 🤦🏻‍♀️😂
I have a funny image of the train crew trying to lure it away!

ELW85 · 18/06/2019 06:23

Morning ladies!
Looks like I’m out this month; 10dpo and temp took a massive drop to cover line. Pretty gutted as I was really hopeful this cycle.

@MrsEG - good luck for today - I really am so, so happy for you. I totally understand your apprehension but your consultant is going to be all over it :)

MrsEG · 18/06/2019 05:48

@Larrydavid @MrsH497 @purplefig @LokiCat @Marleym28 Thank you girls - I will definitely give another call today. DH was like ‘relax!’ but you guys have made me feel better about chasing it up!

@Marleym28 Lovely to hear from you and I’m so glad all is going well :)

@ValidUser I am so sorry you’re feeling like that. For what it’s worth, I am rooting for you so badly; I really do hope so much that this happens for you. You’re going through an awful lot so please be kind to yourself. My counsellor said to me that it’s important to embrace the sadness though - so when you’re having those awful days, let it all out - and do something nice for yourself, nice long bath, favourite meal etc. I found it helped me on the darker days xx

Marleym28 · 17/06/2019 22:44

I haven't been on here for a while as I've been trying to wrap my head around being 6 weeks and trying not the be a crazy maniac
I thought I would be different it when I saw the bfp but turns out it's very similar.
Hope you don't mind me popping on. I do miss you ladies.

Hang In there ladies, stay strong! 💙
As for you @MrsEG... congratulations!
Fingers crossed

Xx
