@LokiCat - how confusing/frustrating?! I guess the good news is that it’s not anovulatory though, just a longer cycle! You’ve got that amazing break to enjoy - we’ll miss you but have a wonderful time!

Morning ladies!
So strange turn of events.. due to the 3 temp spikes (a small dip today but still very high), FF has now said I'm 3dpo today.. 🤔
Now that I think about it, my CM has been stretchy and almost EWCM but because it was milky rather than clear I didn't think it was fertile cm. after googling I now realise that EWCM doesn't have to be clear!
Haven't dtd for about a week (will try and do it tonight but doubt it'll make a difference) so I think it's safe to say we're out!
So frustrated, but explains why no AF. So most likely going to have a 47 day cycle! Definitely looking forward to going away tomorrow and have a relaxing holiday away from this ttc confusion!

@Lozzlepop ah I used to hate it when I the OPKs were getting darker and then suddenly a light OPK. I've realised my OPKs were always light if I tested during the day, but would catch surge if I tested early morning/at night.

@ELW85 yeah I use the Glow app but they are still low so pinning my hopes on getting the positive tonight otherwise it’s looking like a 32 day+ Cycle 😒

@cupcakesandglitter - haha! Apart from the obvious reasons, I’d take that as a massive positive from your body!

@FlorenceLane - ah ok, so your cycle lengths are around 27 days :) don’t worry, there’s a lot to get your head around that you don’t get told about!
Basically DPO refers to the second part of your cycle after you’ve ovulated; so today I’m 11DPO but day 25 of my cycle, if that makes sense?
There are loads of ways to try and pinpoint when you ovulate (taking your temperature, using ovulation kits etc). Tracking ovulation is important as you only have a few fertile days each cycle (leading up to ovulation).

I hope that makes sense and sorry if I’m telling you what you already know!
And it doesn’t sound like a chemical to me; just for reasons to do with how long it takes to implant etc (as I said, there’s a lot to take in!)

@Lozzlepop - biscuits are awesome though!! You’ll be fine, just a biiiit stiff after 2 weeks, haha :) I know you’ll smash it!!
OPKs are so weird. Do you have a line app anywhere to interpret them? I’ve got one built into my temp app which is useful for pointing out the range that would be considered peak/positive?

Super snoozy this morning, hoping for that positive OPK tonight however last nights was lighter than the previous day 🤦🏽‍♀️ Hoping it’s just a blip!

@ELW85 thanks lovely... My last period was unusual. I was 4 days early (22dpo), and the pain was intense... I rarely have any cramps, but this period had me staying in bed throughout... Could this have been a chemical?

I'll post a photo of my cycle lengths for the last five or so months. Ignoring last months early AF, I'm usually 25-27 day cycles...

I use the Eve app, and usually go by their predicted AF date, which was yesterday (18th), but now I'm looking at the cycle lengths, maybe I'm not due till today (27dpo)? So blummin confusing!

• 22 (unusual period, early)

Ladies I have a case of the mega horn this cycle, AF has finished but I want to jump on DH (and have done the whole way through AF) - it's CRAZY!! I'm definitely going to make the most out of it this cycle 😏

Some of you might remember me, I was a regular here but took a step back for a while because I was getting quite down about the whole thing.

Well today I tested (AF was due on Monday) and I got a positive! I’m so happy, cycle 11.

I had almost completely given up hope. Fingers crossed it’s a sticky one!

@ELW85 I'll let you know how I get on. Mums a great believer in things like acupuncture so I'm willing to try even if it just relaxes me a bit!

AF probably imminent had some very light brown discharge this evening (tmi!!) although I got this just before my bfp last month.

This is my first post, hope you guys don't mind me joining???

I'm 29, and TTC #1 with partner (30)...

We started 8th May 2019, but didn't catch in the first month...

Today is my period due date, but no sign of AF yet..... My period app (Eve) says I'm 26dpo, although I'm not too sure what all that means. Need to do more research!

Symptoms include bloating, abdominal aches, sore nipples, and nausea. Although the nausea could be anxiety from waiting for BFP!

Praying AF stays away! Thank you for reading xx

@MrsEG - Congratulations! I hope you get your apt date asap and hoping your mind is a little bit more at ease!

How is everything else getting on?

@ELW85 it’s a Hello Fresh recipie, White fish and rice with veggies and coconut milk- YUM!! Means I don’t feel so bad about the biscuits I’ll eat later 😂😂

@ELW85 no!! My mum had it done for stress and problems sleeping (and menopause) she found it helpful.

@LikeTheFruit - I don’t think you’ve Ov yet - your body can gear up for Ov a couple of times a cycle before it decides its right, so I’d say you’re still in it :)

@LokiCat yeah leave it another couple of days and maybe test again if no AF. I spent part of the afternoon moving furniture about so I’m even hotter than before 🥵 yes last nights was much darker so thinking tonight will almost be positive if not positive 🤞🏻

@LindyMoe @MrsH497 @Lozzlepop I did try a FRER yesterday which was unfortunately a bfn. Will leave it a couple of days (or maybe when I'm back from holiday as I fly out on Thursday). Just a bit annoyed as I wanted to be relaxed on holiday and not stressed about what may be going on!

@purplefig I was sneezing a lot yesterday and have a blocked nose today due to hayfever and I woke up at 2am but went back to bed straight away, (I test at 5:30am) so not sure if they could have affected it.
I've had lots of creamy/lotion like CM (almost like blobs, apologies TMI!) for the last few days 🤔

@MrsEG that's great, esp about the appointment! Hope you've managed to get an appointment today and some reassurances!

@Lozzlepop our office is always freezing due to the amount of machines! Looks miserable and grey outside unfortunately. I've dressed quite summery today as well, so I'm sure I'll be regretting it 😩

@MaceyP87 welcome! It's lovely to see you're so involved in TTC journey. As others have said my husband would have no clue about dpo, bbt, etc (although he is very supportive and jumps when it's fw 😂). I'm really sorry to hear about your mc, I had one back in March as well. Wishing you lots of luck and hope the tww flies by!

@Bettythecat finger crossed for your scan on Thursday! Hope all is well and healthy. It's understandable to be worried but I've got everything crossed that it's a sticky one for you xx

@ELW85 ahh don't beat yourself up! It's hard to wait and I'm sure we've all gone and taken tests earlier than we should have!
I think it takes 2-3days after implantation to have enough hcg to show up! It is still quite early so please don't lose hope.
Get yourself some pizza and treat yourself tonight :)

@LikeTheFruit I agree, looking at your OPKs it doesn't look like you've ovulated yet. Could there be something else that may have caused a temp spike (feel under the weather, not enough sleep etc)?
May be worth testing OPK more than once a day if you think it's close so you don't miss the surge!

Hi girls!!

So I'm CD 19 now and v confused. I've attached my bbt chart and OPKs for this month. Looking at OPKs I don't think I've ov'd yet (and don't feel I have - no telltale stab by pain and ewcm only started yesterday) but temps look like I did on Friday. Any clues?

Currently dehydrating myself to do another OPK in a few hours 😂😂😂
