@MrsEG, Had a dream last night we had the early scan and they found it was all wrong again... and when we stepped out of the scan room, our parents were there and MIL (mother-in-law) kept asking me "what's wrong with you, why do you keep messing it up?!"... Woke up really confused!! Hopefully all will be OK tomorrow now!! Will definitely keep you updated! Xx

Hi everyone, so I'm back from my pelvic scan (wow the internal probe was fun..!).
The lady said she could see a fairly large amount of liquid (?) around or inside my left ovary, which is the one that's been hurting on off for 2 days now. Said there was enough to get me referred to a gynaecologist, which is what my GP would do after looking at these scan results. Then the gynaecologist would be the one to refer me to other scans. MRI was mentioned. She said my right ovary looked fine, and that the liquid might not be anything that affects fertility/sinister, but will definitely need checking. So just more waiting for further appointments now! Am hoping the appointment for gynaecologist isn't too long a wait.

Was interesting as she could see I'm apparently in luteal phase judging from my uterus lining thickening. So I must've somehow missed ovulation! Think was last weekend if anything as had stark negatives since Sunday evening. So AF due in a week's time I'd say.

@purplefig Congratulations, how many times did you have acupuncture? I've never tried, but am tempted to look into it and go. I don't mind needles so I guess that helps.

@MrsEG thank you, I haven't thrown any of it away so I can always go back to it, as long as I don't get too hung up on it, we'll see.

@ELW85 thank you, I know what you mean about DH/DP struggling to keep up, we're much more in tune now.

@ImMeantToBeWorking congratulations, hope for me too if I stick with that app. Did you log everything on there, just a bit or the bare minimum?

@deliah123 thanks, when we first TTC there was so much to get my head around it did help, like you say, but then I got rather obsessed so needed to chill. Well done for keeping up with 3 apps, that's impressive.

@ELW85 no worries. We DTD Thursday night and Friday morning, I got a positive OPK Friday midday ish. FF reckons I ovulated Saturday, but I think could've been Friday night as I had pretty strong left ovary sensations that night.

@MrsH497 thanks!! I got some in Aldi and the rest in my local health food shop.

XjustagirlX - I've heard it is possible for your body to get ready to ovulate, lh surge etc. then not actually ovulate, delaying until later in the cycle, therefore getting 2 positives/near positives separate times. Hard to know if you'd have maybe gotten a positive on cd15 unless you tested again late afternoon though, like you said... It's all a fun and games, especially during first cycle of doing it! Need to make sure you definitely get a positive though rather than almosts...
I had an almost-positive cd14 then stark negatives ever since a week later, so am also confused about if/when I ovulated! 🙈 fingers crossed you caught it though xx

I’m currently on holiday so I’ve missed a lot of this thread. I’m now in my first ever TWW!

I’ve been doing OPKs, the cheap strip ones. I’ve noticed that my early afternoon test is a lot fainter than my evening test. We have also been doing the SMEP method. DH is very tired.

I got a positive OPK on CD 23 so I think I ovulated on 6th June. I now have really bad stomach cramps but I don’t know what any of the symptoms should be?

I’m also having a strange panic. On CD15 I had the most horrendous stomach cramps. My OPK on this day was negative but a lot darker than the previous and following days but I only did it around midday which I now realise midday results are always fainter for me. I’m wondering if this could have been ovulation and I’m a lot closer to my period than I think. I hate that I start questioning everything during TTC. But this wouldn’t explain the positive opk I got on CD 23.

@Purplefig - thanks for posting that! My stupid phone won’t let me open it properly but I’m guessing you didn’t DTD all week?
I ask as I think DH is struggling to keep up and I just want to make sure we still have a chance.
