@Daisydoodles92 I relate completely! I’ve actually worn my Ava again the last two weeks just to get some data back in to it and the dreaded wait for the temp each morning isn’t particularly welcomed!! Fingers crossed it happens quickly for us both :) Like you I’ve quite enjoyed the month off, not second guessing everything!

@ELW85 We ended up watching Always Be My Maybe and it was fab - naturally there was a heavily pregnant main character (they’re everywhere!!) but really funny - would definitely recommend! How was Caroline’s first night?

@MrsH497 GPs are fairly hopeless; I was under the EPU who were great.
I think you’ve had the real misfortune of being away when it happened but if you do have any questions just ask. 4-6 weeks for AF to return is normal and mine have usually taken 5. Still waiting for this one x

A bit annoyed the morning - my BBT temp has gone up again so I guess my theory that AF would come this weekend is wrong. Have had cramps since Thurs and I’m much better now so I can’t quite suss it out but I’m hopeful it will be in the next week. It was 4 weeks yesterday since the MC so it could easily take another week or so yet, but it’s so bloody frustrating!

Is anyone still testing today?

Hope there are nice Fathers Day plans - were all getting together as a big family unit for a ‘Sunday lunch’ of homemade pizzas and brownies!!! Makes a nice change from a roast!x

ELW85 · 15/06/2019 21:45

@MrsH497 - you’re welcome and just be kind to yourself; you’ve been through a lot and you just have to deal with it in your own time and way xx

MrsH497 · 15/06/2019 21:24

@ELW85 thank you for the virtual hug was so proud of not crying for a good few days and today just got to me xx

MrsH497 · 15/06/2019 21:23

@Daisydoodles92 unfortunately I was in Florida pretty much as soon as I got my bfp and miscarried there. My EPU wouldn't see me without a gp referral who wouldn't refer without a physical consultation. Honestly have been treated awfully by gp. My cycles were 30 days before the MC, which happened on the 17th May and I got a negative test on 26th May. I probably started the MC before the 17th as I had bleeding and spotting for about a week before then

ELW85 · 15/06/2019 21:14

Ah, thank you @ValidUser! How are you feeling back on the injections?
Onwards and upwards to a new cycle :)

@MrsEG - how lovely! What a thoughtful way to celebrate and I’m totally with you on the Nana naps, haha!
We’ve just started S5 of Black Mirror but it’s not really date night viewing Shock

Thanks @daisydoodles92 - she’s a little sweetheart!

Daisydoodles92 · 15/06/2019 21:09

@LindyMoe I'm not sure, you could always speak to GP, maybe do a water sample make sure it's nothing to worry about. Although when I was pregnant I had some lower back pain, I have a retroverted uterus, but I really doubt this would happen straight after ovulation x
@MrsEG I knew you would relate, I've seen similarities in a lot of your posts and like you say so weird to not be trying after all this. I know what you mean, it really is (strangely) giving me some head space though. Kind of dreading when the time comes and it's back to charting and that terrible TWW!
@MrsH497 I was under my local early pregnancy unit for a while so I got most of my advice from them. GPs deal with so many things I don't think they are as clued up about MC. How long were your cycles before and when did you get your negative pg test?
I ordered some cheap opks just to keep an eye in things and because I was charting before miscarriage my cycle has been like clockwork. It's 22 days post procedure today, I always ovulate around cd 19/20, so after a couple days for my HCG to go down I think 🤞 my cycle is on track to be standard for me.
Ohh @ELW85 how cute!

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 21:06

@ELW85 It was fab! He booted me out to cook and set up the dining room with flowers and candles; bottle of fizz and a can of Fanta Grape (my fave) waiting as soon as I got home! Food was soo so good but there was so much of it we had to go for a nap afterwards like a couple of pensioners 🙈 Just finding something on Netflix for the evening now! Perfection :)

@ValidUser Ouch!! As if AF isn’t bad enough! Good luck with this cycle :)

@MrsH497 sounds lovely - I love getting my nails done :) enjoy that gin!!

ValidUser · 15/06/2019 20:54

Heaviest AF ever! Back on my injections today.

How is everyone?

@ELW85 loving Caroline!

MrsH497 · 15/06/2019 18:05

@Daisydoodles92 another thing my useless GP never told me! I don't even feel like AF is due and some cramps the other day and was convinced she was on way.

@MrsEG I really hope so. Seems to feel like I'm surrounded by pregnant people!!

@Lozzlepop that did make me smile!

Xx

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 17:51

@XjustagirlX I’ve never heard that before! I know for me, I drink loads of water during the day so testing in the evening would be pointless, it would be so diluted. Also 9DPO is early to test; if it turns out not to be AF maybe test again in a few days?

@Daisydoodles92 I know how you feel! We haven’t tried this month at all, taking the month off as advised but you do have those horrible thoughts of ‘but what if this would be the month??’ - I’m just accepting the fact that doctors wouldn’t tell you to have the break if there wasn’t a decent reason for it (I’ve heard about your uterine lining needing to re-thicken, etc). Also, psychologically I really think the month away gives you time to really process what has happened. Then you can throw everything at it next cycle :) xx

LindyMoe · 15/06/2019 17:43

@daisydoodles92 thank you!
Getting a little worried about my back pain, been a week now. Anyone else ever experienced it? Had it since I apparently ovulated...

Am I sick?? Google is telling me horrible things!!

Daisydoodles92 · 15/06/2019 17:39

@LindyMoe first morning urine x

LindyMoe · 15/06/2019 17:35

Sorry what does FMU mean?

Daisydoodles92 · 15/06/2019 17:34

@MrsH497 its normal to take 4-6 weeks I was told when I had mine. I know how frustrated you must be though, I MC 25th March and still no first AF yet due to retained tissue. Had ERPC 3 weeks ago yesterday and positive opk today which will make AF 5 weeks from then. I was told sometimes it can take longer and it doesn't mean theres anything wrong. You need to give yourself time and dont beat yourself up 💜

It's been 11 weeks since my MC and only just starting to feel normal ish. I've come to the realisation that I've got no control over most of this process and the only thing I have control of is to look after myself. We actually aren't trying this month, as advised when I had procedure, but also just to give ourselves a break and feel normal for a bit longer. Feeling really guilty that we're missing the opportunity though! 🤦‍♀️
Really gets a grip on you doesn't it!

XjustagirlX · 15/06/2019 17:13

@MrsEG my cycles have been 34, 30, 35 but the 30 cycle was a really light period mainly just some spotting.

I’ve heard it should be FMU but I read this online which suggests later in the day is better if you are resting before 13dpo. So confused 🤷‍♀️

MrsEG · 15/06/2019 16:58

@MrsH497 So sorry you’re having a bad day. It took 5 weeks post MC for my AF to come back, so hopefully it won’t be much longer now and can put you out of your misery.

Hello again @LindyMoe!

@XjustagirlX It’s always best to use FMU for a pregnancy test as your urine is much more concentrated first thing. Have you ever had your AF this early before?

XjustagirlX · 15/06/2019 16:41

Hi ladies

So I’m on 9dpo. AF I think is due on Tuesday. I’ve had really bad cramping. I had some brown spotting on 7dpo and 8dpo. Today I have had a lot more blood. But it’s really dark brown not bright red. The cramping has gone quite bad today. I’m so confused whether this is implantation bleeding or my period. How do I know?

Also I did a test this morning but it was negative. But from looking online I’ve read that it’s best to use the afternoon or evening urine not the morning one.

Lozzlepop · 15/06/2019 15:24

@MrsH497 sorry you are having a rough day, I’m trying to combat a terrible slug infestation in my garden if that cheers you up 😂😂
