Hi all,
New to this board ☺️
I’m 32 and myself and DH are trying for number 2 (we have an almost 3YO DD). We just had a chemical pregnancy - AF was due May 18th, already faint pregnancy test lines got fainter on May 19th and disappeared completely on 20th. Started bleeding May 20th and now on a very heavy AF.

We are emotionally ready to just got for it again, my question is have any of you positive experience of getting right after an early Chemical pregnancy and if so did you find you ovulated earlier/later.

For example, I ovulate exactly 14 days after my period starts. As my period was technically 3 days late, do I assume I will just ovulate 14 days after this bleed started? Or do I count 14 days after period was actually due?

Anyone who has just been through the same that wants to join me on this journey please do! X

@littleredsocks - I can only assume I ovulated as I don't track other than my own body symptoms. I'm 10/11 dpo today and have had tender boobs and mild but persistent cramp since 6ish dpo. It's different to last month though which I don't know whether to take as a positive or negative. I might test on Sunday but I'd rather wait for Monday.

MountAbora · 13/06/2019 07:40

Yay! #Abi58 thats great! Time to get busy then it sounds like Wink
I still have no luck with a positive OPK, but boobs are a bit tender & have had a sharp pain in my side which I tend to get around ovulation so my fingers are crossed for this weekend.

Abi58 · 13/06/2019 07:00

Yay so I've been using cheap ic opks and I also thought I'd try the clear blue one (got it on offer!) and I have just got a flashing smiley face which means I'm having a rise but not yet my surge so getting there it seems! 😁 will try an ic later to see what that says

Abi58 · 12/06/2019 21:24

@LittleRedSocks im making sure if it 😁

@MountAbora 🤞🏻 for you! It really is!
Hoping it is later worried it might not even happen this month. It's effort you have to do it every day first thing in the morning but you do get a rise after ovulation so it can help confirm it so it's good for that. My temps are all a lot lower this month for some reason

MountAbora · 12/06/2019 20:56

Thanks guys, appreciate it. I have been monitoring my cm & had some ewcm but also a bit watery & creamy at times so completely confused!! I have felt pretty down this week about it all. Your right that it does drain you. Doesn’t help that DP has a bit of a health issue recently which means he doesn’t feel like DTD very often Confused

Sounds positive Abi58. I think the the cp can mess with your cycle a bit so your maybe just going to ov a little later. Fingers crossed for you. I haven’t been tracking my temps just using the internet OPK strips, would you recommend doing temps?

Hope your doing ok LittleRedSocks. The tww is the longest but most especially after a loss. It is early so every chance you could still get your BFP. I really hope you do.

LittleRedSocks · 12/06/2019 20:44

@Abi58 apparently watery CM is also fertile! So just keep DTD just in case! I hope you’re ok, it is definitely really draining trying, waiting, wondering.

@MountAbora it can be quite easy to miss the surge are you tracking anything else like your Cm or temp that might help?

Hang in there! We're here if you need to vent or talk! We will get there!

I'm ok thanks. Still a bit down about the whole thing. Not sure what's going on seemed to be getting lines on opks when they are normally blank (still negative but lines showing) and then faded then thismornings was a bit stronger again (last month I got my positive opk on cd12 which is today.l) this evening did one and barely visible! No idea what's going on! Temp is a lot lower this month as well which is odd. Had a small amount of slightly cloudy ewcm the other day but not it's just watery - sorry tmi - not like pouring but just wet on my fingers if that makes sense.

@LittleRedSocks that's very early as well so probably wouldn't have shown anyway. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

LittleRedSocks · 12/06/2019 19:55

Oh no! Has your CM changed at all? It could be that the OV sticks just aren’t working properly? Are they the internet ones? I gave up on mine!

Other than that I’m 8/9dpo - I honestly feel I’ve so many symptoms. But so afraid to think that it’s worked. Did a FRER today and it was a blazing BFN. I know ur not out till AF shows though so going to keep some (blind) optimism! X

Heya,
Iv still to get a positive OPK, getting quite worried Iv either missed it or I’m not ovulating this month!! Frustrating. Also everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant....equal measures pleased for them and jealous! Ttc can be tough.

Hope everyone else is getting on okay.
How are you getting on Abi58?

Abi58 · 12/06/2019 18:51

How is everyone getting on?

Abi58 · 07/06/2019 18:54

It does seem to! So I just checked and I have the start of ewcm stretchy but still a bit cloudy. How strange! Hopefully if I do ov early it will have enough to stick to! I'll keep you posted!

LittleRedSocks · 07/06/2019 18:09

It’s so confusing - body does strange things after mc/cp though so you never know!!! Fingers crossed for you xx

Abi58 · 07/06/2019 18:05

@LittleRedSocks still a line a bit fainter I think! Yes we have but surely I can't be ov yet. Only time will tell!

LittleRedSocks · 07/06/2019 18:04

@tryingveryhard did you ov and if yes what dpo are you now? I’m either 4dpo or 6dpo...don’t know exactly! But lots of sharp pinching pelvic twinges ...has similar last time so I’m hoping that it’s a move in right direction?

OP posts:
LittleRedSocks · 07/06/2019 17:59

@Abi58 did you do an Ov test today? How was it? Hope your DTD just in case! X

OP posts:
Abi58 · 06/06/2019 22:15

@LittleRedSocks just done a test to make 100% sure and as negative as can be.

Abi58 · 06/06/2019 21:15

@LittleRedSocks
Happened as well yesterday, just a bit odd. I'm cd 6 today as well.
The dr had a faint positive on their test Friday last week and negative Monday.

LittleRedSocks · 06/06/2019 21:06

Have you taken a pregnancy test too to make sure totally negative? Xxx

OP posts:
LittleRedSocks · 06/06/2019 21:06

I had that around cd6 after CP too and apparently, so not sure why it happened but I deffo wasn’t ovulating! Xx

Hi everyone! Not sure if anyone has been through similar or has any ideas and can help my confusion and curiosity!

So I've been feeling a bit odd since I started bleeding on Saturday (finished yesterday) there were clots and urine test at dr confirmed negative for pregnancy on Monday.

I've been getting pains in my left pelvis/abdomen and just decided to do an opk and got a negative but the line was very definitely there (normally get stark white right up to and after ov) that was yesterday and the same again tonight. Could this be leftover pregnancy hormones from the chemical? Anyone else experienced this? (I'm only cd 6 so can't be close to ov yet.

Abi58 · 06/06/2019 10:57

@LittleRedSocks how are you feeling today? I'm still getting bad cramps thankfully the bleeding seems to have stopped now.

Aw I think I'll be similar. Going to try to hold off but doubt I'll be able to!

Maybe try every other day to try and curb the habit 😂

@MountAbora 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻😁 here's to hoping!

LittleRedSocks · 06/06/2019 08:21

Is it bad that I’ve already started testing?! They are internet cheapies and I have 50 so I don’t feel bad 😂I know it would be at least a week before even the faintest of lines...and I told myself after CP I wouldn’t test early again....but all rational thinking and behaviour goes out the window during this time!

OP posts:
MountAbora · 05/06/2019 19:59

Thanks Abi58 and LittleRedSocks.
🤞 this month isn’t out for us then!
It would be nice to think that after our losses we would all have a higher chance this month.

LittleRedSocks · 05/06/2019 19:55

I know, right? Have to take the positives where we can! I still cant decide if I ovulated on Saturday or yesterday. But bloody knackered today (I’m in bed right now!) and a tightness in my abdomen - like every time I get up I feel like my lower stomach muscles need to be stretched out slowly! I’m pretty sure I had this last time but not early on....especially if I OV’d yesterday then I’m definitely just imagining things.

@Mountabora, make sure you pay attention to CM not just the sticks - and remember our body does funny things after miscarriages!

God, this drives you barmy doesn’t it!!

Abi58 · 05/06/2019 19:46

@LittleRedSocks 😁

I've heard that too, they say you're more fertile after birth as well so could be something to do with what your body does afterwards?
🤞🏻 it's true!
