TTC First Baby Thread 18 Already!

@MrsLBear Hello lovely! I feel the same - my first due date is in just over a months time now. I’ve actually booked the day off work as I don’t know how I’m going to feel. Some days it doesn’t bother me, others it really stops me in my tracks and I feel desperate about it. Which like you say, seems so dramatic but I just know it’s going to be tough. How are you doing?

@MrsLBear nothing at all, taking the 'relaxed' approach 😂 I'm just gonna wait and see x

@Marleym28 The GP doesn’t do anything other than refer you to the midwife anyway, and you won’t see them until 8-10 weeks so there’s no rush at all. Maybe call your GPs office to see what their process is? The receptionists should be able to tell you :)

@Marleym28 where I live you can "register" your pregnancy straight with the hospital you wish to go to which was so good as I got my booking appt within 10 days (my choice was Queens Hospital in Romford). So worth maybe checking that out?

@FlapJackered I know the feeling. From the start I said as long as I'm pregnant by the time my first due date comes round I will be ok because I'm not sure how I will cope otherwise. Sounds so dramatic but it's like a deadline.
I really need to get back into tempting again. I've not done that since last time just been doing OPKs.

@cupcakesandglitter I've heard others say they got a +ve opk when af was due. I'm sure I read somewhere you can have surges or something. Not that that's very helpful.
Do you temp or anything? Are you certain of your O date?

@FlapJackered I'm 11dpo with AF due wed.
Fingers crossed she won't arrive and will go smoothly.

Should I wait until wed before I call the Drs?
This is ttc#1 so literally have no idea what I'm doing?

Oh yes @dahlia123!! Don't want to get any hopes up about catching this month but I also have no idea when I would test as it would be first AF

@ValidUser I think I'm around 18dpo... my LP is usually 14dpo though, but as I'm getting BFNs I'm guessing maybe I didn't ov/ovulated late. Maybe Ava will adjust with a few higher temps? Xx

@ValidUser I did think that - I remember right at the beginning of TTC I had a positive just before AF BUT I had spotting almost straight after and then AF turned up. I've had no spotting at all (usually get it 1/2 days before AF) and I've had sticky/creamy cm pretty much every day since ovulation which isn't normal for me at all, that's all 🤷🏻‍♀️

@MrsEG 😂😂 oh god I hope not. Tbh I've not had any confirmation I did ov this month but I'm pretty sure my cm confirmed that I did over two weeks ago. I've never had a cycle that long so I'm dreading it 😭

I have no idea @ValidUser (helpful I know!!) but I’d also guess Thurs or Fri, so I reckon your DTD timings sound great!

@cupcakesandglitter 😂😂 It really was nice haha!!! Oh god, I really hope for your sake you don’t have a 48 day cycle! Is it possible to Ov twice in one cycle??

No AF for me yet, just more cm. I entered yesterday's positive OPK into Flo and she's bumped it to ov and predicted AF will turn up on CD48 hahahahaha sobs

@ValidUser - I would have said O on Thursday based on that, but as you say it may be too early based on trigger day.
Are you taking your temp consistently?

@FlapJackered Your pooch is dreamy!! I so agree - our boy has gotten me through some horrible times the past year, nothing beats a dog snuggle on the sofa - I can see why they prescribe therapy dogs!!

Must be something in the air today - DH and I also DTD for the first time post-MC too. Happened out of nowhere! I’ve been a bit reluctant as for once I actually don’t want to get preggo this month haha, but I’m sure once won’t hurt - fairly certain I ovulated a few days ago too based on CM so should be okay. Was just nice to do it for fun for a change!!

Oh heaven, so many perfect pets!! We went to pets at home to re stock on bits for our cat and there were so many people with puppies, it was too cute! I had a look at the ratties too, because I'm a bit weird and have a soft spot for the rats!

Just saying hi! Haven't checked in as haven't had anything interesting to say!!!
I didn't realise I was cd10 already 🙃... I'm due to ovulate cd12 (usually around then - will take an OPK later to see what's going on) and I haven't even DTD yet - OH has been unwell so didn't want to add to his woes 😂

Will jump him later 😇😇
