Thanks @LokiCat and @purplefig I might ask for test on egg reserve as I've seen it can be a symptom of early menopause god hope and tbh I doubt this is the case or another scan. I may do some more research on spotting.

@ValidUser good luck for your trigger

@Tashdreams you poor thing that must be so frustrating, glad you have got call with a gp, don't let them hang up the phone until you feel satisfied they are helping you.

@XjustagirlX could it be ovulation pain?

LokiCat · 29/05/2019 18:00

@ELW85 thanks! He is a good'un, I imagine they must sense these things!
I'm glad you're feeling more positive today, sorry you had a low one yesterday. I feel like I'm constantly surrounded by pregnant women, there were 3 on the train today! But as you've said it'll hopefully be our turn soon! I hope you had a lovely day 😊

@Lozzlepop @Bettythecat i kept my tests in my underwear drawer for a little while, but felt quite low when I saw them every morning, so asked DH to throw them out (I wasn't able to myself!). Hopefully we'll all have some new ones soon 🤞🏽

@Lozzlepop I may use your hidden folder idea so I don't keep coming across them!
I wish I'd read about national biscuit day before reaching home! We have none in the house 😱 just an excuse to have some more tomorrow! 😂
Hope your sniffles are gone!!

@PaintingOwls sorry for your BFN. 10dpo is still early so fx you're still in!

@purplefig welcome back! Sounds like you had a relaxing time away and you caught ovulation!! 🤞🏽 hope the festival was good and your acupuncture appt goes well tonight x

@Larrydavid welcome! Lovely bunch of ladies on here and so supportive when you need a shoulder. Always welcome here x

@Mrskcam sorry AF showed up :( It's important you feel good, as ttc can become quite stressful. Take care of yourself ❤️

@orangeloo glad your bloods came back normal but at the same time sorry you haven't got any answers! Fx you get your bfp and don't have to worry about it, as you say.
It is frustrating that if something comes back normal GPs don't worry about it. I had to push quite a bit to get a second ultrasound scan for PCO because the first one came back normal. We just know our bodies better!

@Tashdreams bless you, I'm glad they're discussing tests to figure out why AF still hasn't shown! I hope you get some answers or AF finally shows! You're welcome to continue venting here, we have this space to share with others that know how we're feeling.
Fx you get some tests soon x

@ValidUser that's so exciting! Lots of positive thoughts for you and you catch ovulation on Friday 🤞🏽🤞🏽

@XjustagirlX I've not experienced myself but didn't want to read and run. Sorry you're in such pain! I hope you feel better. If it feels quite bad could you ring 111? They may be able to advise what could be wrong?

I'm so tired already. May have an early one tonight. I hope you ladies have a lovely evening xx

XjustagirlX · 29/05/2019 17:42

Hi ladies
I hope you can help coz I’m stressing out.

So I only started TTC this month. I’m currently on cd 16. I don’t believe I have ovulated yet according to my apps, my CM and my OPKs.

However since 2 days ago. I have got the most painful period pain. It feels like when you eat something dodgy on holiday. I am getting stabby pains and dull aches. I also have a really painful back.

I’m worried as I never get period pain really and if I do it is usually during my period and it doesn’t last long. I feel a little bit woosy but I haven’t been sick.

I have thought maybe a water infection but it doesn’t hurt when I go to the toilet. And I haven’t eaten anything off. Also I’m convinced I’m a bit swollen (sorry TMI).

Have any of you ever experienced anything like this?

TIA x

Lola871 · 29/05/2019 17:03

Cross posted with you @ValidUser, you've already answered my question!

Lola871 · 29/05/2019 17:01

Hey all, sorry AF got you @Mrskcam, sometimes I think it's probably helpful to take a break!

Ooh good luck @ValidUser - does that mean an injection tomorrow? What will the injection do? I hope you don't mind all the questions, I'm just interested in how it works!

@Lozzlepop that's a great reason for a biscuit today, but what excuse do I use for all the other biscuits I eat???

Still waiting for AF to show up here, due tomorrow at the latest. I've felt a few times over the last 2-3 days that it was imminent but it's holding out on me!

ValidUser · 29/05/2019 16:59

Thanks @Lozzlepop!

@purplefig I injections hcg tomorrow and that makes the egg(s) mature and release. Friday will be ovulation day! 🤞

@Mrskcam sorry to hear AF got you! Listen to your body and try again when you feel completely ready sending lots of love ❤️

@ValidUser WOOHOOOOOO!!!!

purplefig · 29/05/2019 16:20

@Larrydavid welcome! Do you want to share your stats? I think there's a fairly decent range of people in this thread so probably someone similar to your position. FWIW I'm 28 on cycle 9 of ttc and currently (I think!!) 4DPO.

@Tashdreams so sorry to hear this cycle is still dragging on for you - hopefully the GP can shed some light. And I think I speak for most people on here that it's fineeeeee to come on here for a good ol' vent. Sometimes it really can help and make you feel less alone.

@Mrskcam sorry to hear it was late -really annoying if you're usually super regular I can imagine. I think your approach sounds really sensible and I hope you feel more like you again soon.

@ValidUser ooo exciting! So how does one 'trigger'?! If you do that tomorrow does it count as ovulation day? I'll keep my fingers metaphorically crossed!

@Lozzlepop haha I am - hope it's not too insufferable! The festival was great thanks, a really chilled out time with lots of self care ish activities. Hence the zen mood 😂. I think I've also realised that while not temping/OPKing has been great for not getting to caught up, I think there have been many, many months where we've missed our slot so to speak. So I'm feeling quite (cautiously!) hopeful again now that I'm tracking.

@orangeloo ohhh that does sound frustrating. Have you got a next step in mind?

Lozzlepop · 29/05/2019 16:06

@purplefig sounds like you are in a really good headspace at the minute and good that you are focusing on other areas of your life! How was the festival did you have a good time?

@Larrydavid welcome to the thread 😊

So snoozy today after May Madness at the gym counting down till hometime- now ladies if you didn't already know today is national biscuit day so I urge you all to go home and enjoy a biccie with a decaf tonight 😉

ValidUser · 29/05/2019 16:01

One ready for trigger, one a little behind. Advised to trigger in the morning! 😊😊😊🤞

Hi all sorry I've been absent. AF came 4 days late (first time I've ever been late). Was the worst period I've ever had but only lasted 3 days. Not really sure I'm going to try this cycle as my body just feels not quite right so I think I'm going to focus on getting myself feeling as well as possible before continuing ttc. Hope everyone's well x

Tashdreams · 29/05/2019 15:10

Hi ladies, just wanted to pop in and say hello, I've caught up on the messages & felt a tad guilty for not joining in more lately.

I'm currently CD61, still waiting for AF & feel somewhat hopeless. I don't want to keep moaning about the same thing, hence keeping quiet - I've got a telephone appt with my GP Friday to discuss some tests to see why AF hasn't arrived post MMC in March.

It's lovely to see how we're all supporting each other & id love to go back and tag each and every one of you, but it would take a long while haha.

Loving the support & the positive attitudes - we all have down days where we struggle to imagine ever getting the BFP or that beautiful family we've dreamed of, but I'm taking some of your advice and concentrating on how good life is already.
Sending happy, healthy wishes to you all x

orangeloo · 29/05/2019 14:40

Hi all,
Welcome @Larrydavid we never turn away a ttc er in need.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like having a baby is a pipe dream because I really do and it made me feel like I was odd or destined to never have a baby because I felt that way.

Had x2 21 days bloods come back - both normal so that's good but also frustrating as me and Gp still left scratching head as to why I spot a week before af!? ConfusedDon't think gp's care too much now anything serious or obvious is ruled out. FX it doesn't matter and I can still get a BFP regardless.

We are due some BFP's on here soon! Fx and love and care and baby dust to all xx

We are so due some

Hello! I know you guys have been chatting for a while but was hoping I might be able to join in? I almost don't feel like I've been ttc for long enough to contribute to these threads but equally no one in real life even knows we're trying so I'd love a bit of moral support (am very happy to give some too!)

ValidUser · 29/05/2019 13:19

Thanks @Bettythecat and @MrsH497

@Bettythecat No problem at all - I love the support in this thread! What a lovely thing to say in his speech, and so true too. Glad to hear you like acupuncture...so do I...it's oddly relaxing and makes me sleep like a baby. xx

Bettythecat · 29/05/2019 12:19

@purplefig what a lovely, kind and thoughtful message that was 💜. Thank you for your tips and for taking the time to respond to me so kindly and to the other ladies too. I agree with you on having other distractions too and focusing on them- one of the meditations I did the other day asked me to make three positive things that came out of the journey so far. I was easily able to name three as the mc and the whole process has brought me closer to my DH and my friends And you're quite right on the other lifestyle factors too. I thought my DH and I were a team before but we certainly are one now. When I was crying on Monday (which made him cry too) he said "I will celebrate when we win and commiserate when we lose" which is a quote from his wedding speech and was so lovely. I hope you enjoy your accupuncture tonight (I love mine!) and continue to feel zen and happy. Fingers crossed this TWW goes quickly for you.

@ValidUser good luck with today, let us all know how you get on. X

MrsH497 · 29/05/2019 12:09

@ValidUser good luck to you and the 2 follicles! X

ValidUser · 29/05/2019 12:02

Good morning all!

Nervous about my scan. Hoping my 2 little follicles are still in the game!

4DPO eye roll*

purplefig · 29/05/2019 11:45

Happy Wednesday everyone! I've read back a few pages to catch-up and I'm sorry everyone is feeling a big down. Big hugs to all!

@Bettythecat sorry to hear about your BFN and feeling hopeless. I started trying just before you, in August/September last year. I'm not sure there is a one-size-fits-all answer for how you keep going...I've definitely had my down months but what's working for me is just focusing on other areas of my life and not allowing my mind to take over and become hyper focused on TTC because, quite frankly, it makes me feel like shit. For me that means starting up a new exercise plan, focusing on my relationship with my husband, nurturing friendships, getting out in nature as much as possible (it's hard to be mad when you're feeling awe), progressing my business, reading lots of books and trying new things / planning fun activities. I came to the relisation that finding my life unfulfilling or lacking purpose without a BFP/baby isn't a good place for me to be, mentally...so I'm trying to focusing on loving my life as it is right now. I'm also trying to see the upside, or lessons, in this journey (e.g. I'm closer than ever with DH, my knowledge of female anatomy is SO much better, my diet is pretty on point which makes me feel amazing etc.). Some days are easier than others. Big hugs.

@cupcakesandglitter I know it must have been tough at the time, but it sounds like you are your DH are only becoming stronger and closer. What a revelation for him to know he is that loved by someone.

@MrsEG @MrsH497 I'm so sorry to hear about the crappy communication you've both had to deal with. It must have really made what was already a heartbreaking time all the more painful. @MrsEG Love the bucket list idea.

@ELW85 Ooo when will you start temping!?

@ValidUser all the best for the scan.

@PaintingOwls Sorry to hear about the BFN - 10dpo is quite fairly early, so you're not out yet! That article did make me smile.

As for me...I'm back from the festival and feeling very chilled out and zen. I got a + OPK last Friday morning, DTD Thursday PM + Fri AM and later that night had stabby pains in left ovary side Friday night so I'm guessing I ovulated around then. Wasn't able to temp to confirm, but FF agrees with me, putting me at 3DPO. And so the wait begins! Off to acupuncture tonight.

Bettythecat · 29/05/2019 11:41

@LokiCat @Lozzlepop I also still have all my tests and the photos saved on my phone. Don't have the heart to delete them/throw them away and almost feels like it never actually happened if I was to get rid of them. 😟

Lozzlepop · 29/05/2019 11:03

@LokiCat I have my photos all on a hidden folder on my phone, so they are there if I want to look but wont see them if I'm swiping through pics....i do still have the little babygro along with the tests in my bedside drawer 😢
