@TheChineseChicken really hope so, its taken a while, and everyone - and I mean everyone, is pregnant 🙄. I am 38 this year and really feeling I am running out oftime. Been making a real effort to be healthier, cut down diet coke, eating better and walking everywhere so hope the hard work pays off

TheChineseChicken · 18/05/2019 21:10

Eek @dottyp0104 I really hope you get a positive test. Funny cramps is a good sign, as is tingling boobs. Keeping everything crossed

@TheChineseChicken your test looks good. I caved and have been testing for last few days ( all the while knowing there is nearly no chance this soon, although was convinced could see an imaginary faint line) Today though I am having some really uncomfortable cramps, had to take some painkillers which is unusual, and some weird tingling in boobs so feeling slightly optimistic. AF due thur or fri 🤭. Your bfp has got me excited for tomorrows test 🤣

TheChineseChicken · 18/05/2019 20:55

Hey @Ells0204, I wondered where you were! This thread is a really lifeline - it's great to have people to talk to when you can't talk to people in real life. How are you getting on?

I did another test this evening and the line is getting darker. I will save a CB until Tuesday as I know they're not as sensitive and I don't want to risk a BFN.

How is everyone else enjoying the weekend? @dottyp0104 are you testing soon?

I already have raging pregnancy hunger - goes from 0-60 instantly. And disturbed sleep...

Ahh everyone. So glad I found you! I got logged out of MN so didn’t get the notification on the new thread, went back to the old one to try and post and couldn’t! Just by chance I scrolled through and saw there was a new thread! Is it weird that I felt comfort/relief at finding you all 😂 a bit like the panic that sets in when you lose a parent in a supermarket...

Anyway

OMG @thechinesechicken looks like a BFP...please don’t keep us waiting until Tuesday 😆

@codenameduchess so glad your scan went well. You must be so relieved

orangeloo · 18/05/2019 12:39

@TheChineseChicken that's good to know. I will definitely try that. Thank you! 💐

TheChineseChicken · 17/05/2019 16:50

Hi @orangeloo, good to hear from you! There's a thread about supplements for pre-AF spotting, which I have been on. After I spotted the last two cycles I started taking B50 and 1000mg vitamin C, which allegedly support progesterone production. No idea if it helped or not but I got my BFP the cycle I started taking them.

MummyBearBoo · 17/05/2019 15:43

Definitely enjoy it - I'm sure it'll last this time xx

orangeloo · 17/05/2019 14:30

@TheChineseChicken yes! Congratulations I know u will be worried but I'm glad your trying to enjoy it for nowSmile really got my fingers crossed for you. Thanks for starting new thread and tagging me.

I'm CD14 waiting for Ov. My 21 day bloods cane back last month as normal- I'm getting them re done just to double check. This is due to spotting up to a week before AF. Also need to work on DP this weekend going to get spent analysis. Happy Friday all. Anyone else testing in next couple of days?

TheChineseChicken · 17/05/2019 12:49

@codenameduchess at least I know not to drink wine and coffee this weekend!

@MummyBearBoo I resisted the urge to buy a 'proper' test today. I'm going to wait until AF is due on Tuesday then get a digital. I'm very aware that this might not go far but am trying to enjoy it all the same for now.

OP posts:
MummyBearBoo · 17/05/2019 12:28

Definitely a line @TheChineseChicken - fingers crossed this one is sticky I guess all you can do is see if it gets stronger-cautious congratulations!
I took 4 tests in total this time coz I was worried after my CP - I did a Frer and CB digital the day after my AF was due then a Frer 3 days later (that's when bleeding started last time after CP - this line was stronger it stole dye from the control line thankfully) and 1 CB digital when AF was a week late then I called the midwife!! The days are dragging tho!! Xx

codenameduchess · 17/05/2019 11:58

Sometimes it's good to test early @TheChineseChicken 😀

Had my dating scan today, they've dated a week ahead of what I thought so 11+4 with a very active bean! I feel a lot more relaxed now, we saw a little heartbeat, bum and hands and feet 🦶

TheChineseChicken · 17/05/2019 10:09

@pinkstar01 AF due on Tuesday - so much for not testing early!

OP posts:
pinkstar01 · 17/05/2019 09:22

There's definitely a line! Fingers crossed for you, when is AF meant to be due? Do an FRER today and then the day it's due to see if it's gotten darker!

codenameduchess · 17/05/2019 09:08

I can't see a pic but this is good news @TheChineseChicken !!

babysox · 17/05/2019 07:19

Definite line!

TheChineseChicken · 17/05/2019 07:16

It's early days and given my CP in January I'm not getting too excited yet

OP posts:
TheChineseChicken · 17/05/2019 07:15

@babysox FMU is first morning urine - more concentrated so better for early testing.

Talking of which...

What does fmu mean? Good luck for the morning @TheChineseChicken

TheChineseChicken · 16/05/2019 20:08

Will do @codenameduchess

OP posts:
codenameduchess · 16/05/2019 20:05

Try first thing in the morning, could just be diluted pee with not enough hcg.

TheChineseChicken · 16/05/2019 19:55

The lines seem to have disappeared now Sad

OP posts:
pinkstar01 · 16/05/2019 19:27

I'm pretty sure I see something too!! Get a frer!

codenameduchess · 16/05/2019 19:04

There's definitely something there! And it looks like there's a bit of colour to it.... 🤞🤞 are you trying again with fmu?

TheChineseChicken · 16/05/2019 18:36

Shadow of a line again? Un-used test on the right to compare (argh, I sound crazy)
