Massive congratulations @TheChineseChicken I'm so pleased for you - I'm 6w + 1d though my midwife did my date from LMP which puts me at 8w + 1d guess I find out on 11 June for sure!
Maybe call the new thread ' No more Crushing Disappointment' and be optimistic maybe once we're all around 12 weeks ish - tho I know some are there already!
I won't be able to join til I'm 13 weeks if I get that far coz I have CVS @ 11 weeks and if I get thru that it carries a 1% miscarriage risk for 2 weeks!! Xx

chanderl · 21/05/2019 18:42

I used Sterimar during my last pregnancy which was fab for the rhinitis

TheChineseChicken · 21/05/2019 18:36

@codenameduchess that sounds horrible, you poor thing! I hope the nausea settles down soon.

@chanderl it's definitely something like that. I hope it doesn't continue all the way through as the pathetic tickly cough is really annoying. With DD I had so much extra saliva I wretched every time I brushed my teeth Confused

Oh my gosh @TheChineseChicken 2-3 weeks on a digital already!

No cold symptoms, but I threw up so violently today it splashed back all over me.... all things citrus are off the menu! But I'm officially in week 12 now and feeling a little more relaxed.

chanderl · 21/05/2019 18:09

It's probably pregnancy rhinitis

TheChineseChicken · 21/05/2019 17:49

Does anyone else have cold symptoms? I've got a really dry throat and annoying cough but it's not a virus - I'm sure it's pregnancy related

TheChineseChicken · 21/05/2019 17:46

@Ells0204 that doesn't sound very optimistic! I'm definitely up for a pregnancy thread if the next couple of weeks work out.

Do you have your scan this week?!

OP posts:
Ells0204 · 21/05/2019 17:39

Oh my gaaaad @thechinesechicken congratulations Flowers

I literally can’t believe this has all happened to us all one after the other in a matter of weeks!

I’m thinking we should give it a few more weeks and create a pregnancy thread together! Although “crushing disappointment of pregnancy” doesn’t really have a ring to it Hmm

dottyp0104 · 21/05/2019 08:34

@TheChineseChicken thats brilliant! Congratulations xx

TheChineseChicken · 21/05/2019 07:22

Well here it is in B&W. Still a long way to go - AF only due today!

@MummyBearBoo how many weeks are you now?

Fingers crossed for you both @dottyp0104 and @TheChineseChicken -let us know ASAP re CB test tomorrow it all sounds very positive so far!

TheChineseChicken · 20/05/2019 20:05

Well you might have caught it anyway! Let's hope so

OP posts:
dottyp0104 · 20/05/2019 19:56

I was going by the dates on my apps fitbit and flo which are obviously completely out of sync.
Ive only just started using the strips regulary this month.
Fingers crossed, at least have something to work on next month🙄

TheChineseChicken · 20/05/2019 19:44

What were you basing 10-12 dpo on if your positive OPK wasn't until the 10th? If you did ovulate shortly after that then DTD on the 10th would have been good timing

OP posts:
dottyp0104 · 20/05/2019 19:37

So theoretically instead of being 10-12dpo I may actually only be 7dpo. 🤔🤔
This is sooo complicated I cannot believe I have spent the last 20 years panicking incase the pill failed etc when actually at the rate I am going I would have more chance winning the blooming lottery 🤣
On the plus side, had loads of cramping this weekend and now have some mild nausea so maybe theres some hope

TheChineseChicken · 20/05/2019 19:31

11th and 12th I mean

OP posts:
dottyp0104 · 20/05/2019 19:31

@TheChineseChicken 10th and 12th then OH was away

TheChineseChicken · 20/05/2019 19:29

Do you should have ovulated sometime between the 11th and 13th I think? When did you DTD?

OP posts:
dottyp0104 · 20/05/2019 19:27

@TheChineseChicken my two strongest were 10th and 11th

TheChineseChicken · 20/05/2019 19:17

@dottyp0104 when did you first get a positive OPK? I think you ovulate 12-36 hours after the surge starts, not ends, though I'm not 100% sure about that

OP posts:
dottyp0104 · 20/05/2019 19:10

Ladies, driving myself bonkers here.....
I just had a look at my opk for this month. I still had a strong positive on sat 11th so does this mean I hadn't ovulated until after then (fitbit amd flo are predicting 10th and 8th - no difference eh)

If thats the case then would explain my lack of luck for the last year.... i have been completely out whack with dates

TheChineseChicken · 20/05/2019 18:51

@blackfriars it's amazing the number of people who ask questions like that. They must either have no children or have had no trouble conceiving. It's so hard to know how to answer! Glad you're feeling positive about the next cycle.

OP posts:
blackfriars · 20/05/2019 13:02

Ok-ish thanks, feeling more cheerful than I did last week and ready to get on with cycle 6! Though went to my niece's christening on Saturday and couldn't even try to count the number of people who said 'you'll be next!' or even flat out asked if we are trying - since when is this ok?! You have to laugh!

TheChineseChicken · 20/05/2019 12:57

@blackfriars that's sweet, thanks! How are things with you?

OP posts:
blackfriars · 20/05/2019 10:17

@TheChineseChicken just remembered to check back on this thread to see how you were getting on - so pleased to see your news! Congrats :)
