Can you see this??

My husbands had a vascetomy over 6 years ago.

My period is 4 days late which is unheard of...

Am I just panicking??

How did you get on op?

UnderTheSeaWithMe · 19/05/2019 21:54

There was a similar mn post a few weeks ago (deleted since) and it got published in the fail. General consensus was if his TWO post op samples were clear, it is less likely you are pregnant.

mrsho · 19/05/2019 20:55

I see a very faint line x

happytobemrsg · 19/05/2019 20:54

Any news OP? I hope it’s what you want

Orlandointhewilderness · 18/05/2019 18:26

Very odd OP.

fuckitywhat · 18/05/2019 15:55

Possibly Cookie.

Will update when I've done another tomorrow x

That last one should be a lot darker given the one prior to it. Very strange.

cookiechomper · 18/05/2019 11:36

I think it's possible you've had a chemical pregnancy. The line on one of your last tests was how my last pregnancy started off, but I tested around 10dpo, so was an early positive for me.
If you're testing late and some of the tests are negative, I think it's unlikely you're still pregnant but there must have been some pregnancy hormone there at some point.

Comps83 · 18/05/2019 10:51

Please get a FRER and put your mind at rest once and for all .

December2019 · 18/05/2019 10:42

Any updates OP did you test this morning?

TLBftm · 18/05/2019 00:18

Gosh Op, I feel for you in this situation. You get a test, pee, and think you’re going to have your answer in a minute or two so when you get tests like these, it baffles you doesn’t it.

I had very similar and now have a 4 month old DS. I’d bought a box of two similar tests as I was about a week late. First test was similar to yours, I knew I thought there was a line but my DP swore he couldn’t see a thing. Second test, I was second guessing myself as it was even less clear. DP was adamant they were negative but I just couldn’t be 100%. He said we should get another in a couple of days just to be sure, but there’s no way I could have gone about my normal life not knowing at this point haha! I sent him to Tesco to get the digital one... tested, it did the egg timer... PREGNANT!

We weren’t entirely ready but also didn’t object... we had planned to start trying this year, so it just came a little earlier than we expected.

Good luck, I hope you get the result you want. But looking, I’d say positive.

Vasectomy can fail after a number of years if you read up.

Best of luck xx

Samind · 18/05/2019 00:09

Hope you get the result you want. You must be very confused with all these lines or blank boxes.

itscallednickingbentcoppers · 18/05/2019 00:06

I see something on all of the tests. Hope you get an answer soon

purplepingu · 17/05/2019 23:57

I got pregnant a year after DH's vasectomy, we never really found out how it happened but he went under the knife again to ensure it wouldn't happen again. So don't rule it out.

He'd had his 'all clear' test results too.

HappyBumbleBee · 17/05/2019 23:36

I went through years of doing tests every month - studying if there was a faint line, maybe i had a dodgy test etc.

Try and stop worrying as the stress could prolong your period further. If nothing has happened in a few days test again and see your gp if you get same kind of results xxx

OctoberOrchid · 17/05/2019 23:36

This thread is actually stressing me out! You must be so confused OP bless you. Hope you get a clear answer soon Flowers

TildaTurnip · 17/05/2019 23:36

I really think a digital test would be best if you can as then you don’t have to question it. Flowers

GooodMythicalMorning · 17/05/2019 23:35

I can see s line on the first one but not sure about the other ones. This worries me as dh had a vasectomy 9 years ago.

ThatCurlyGirl · 17/05/2019 23:32

*or ask GP to test

ThatCurlyGirl · 17/05/2019 23:31

Can you have a calm weekend, making sure at some point discuss what you and partner would do if you're pregnant / how you'd feel either way and then have a test again on Monday, or as GP to test? Then at least you have done some of the initial thinking and hopefully will be less of a shock either way. Sorry you're anxious - Hand holding here whenever you need us Thanks

fuckitywhat · 17/05/2019 23:29

Thankyou. I will.

GlamGiraffe · 17/05/2019 23:07

You can see a slight line on them even if they are negative but it doesn't "light up" in pink if you see what I mean.its lime a dull line underneath. If it doesn't show up fairly instantly but shows up later it's a false positive ( negative). the real positives show up instantly without doubt even really early, its obvious. First thing in the morning should be easy to tell( or if you need to pee in the night do it then).

lostlobster · 17/05/2019 23:02

I can spot a line on most of these tests OP. Get a FRER and test in the morning.

December2019 · 17/05/2019 22:59

Have you got a picture of it not zoomed in I can line spot really well from a distance 😊

December2019 · 17/05/2019 22:58

Yeah I can see a line on that last test
