And even more tests. Also a few others but I didn't see the forms for those. But the nurse said it's was for inflammatory response and tumer markers what ever that is. She did a pelvic example and did all that "hmmm and ummmm" she also ordered an internal camera but I have to wait for an appointment for that. So atleast I wasn't fobbed off

Update ladies:

Rmc appointment was a bit of a let down.
Had a million and one blood test, I have the worst needle phobia so yeah that was fun.

Was told I'm older so it's more likely I will miscarry than not ( great). Was told asprin from bfp and progesterone pessaries until 12 weeks if I get caught again before the next appointment. So it's a waiting game.

@Yukka did you wait until consultations and tests to start taking baby aspirin? My friend has had two 5wk MCs and decided to start taking it as there is no risk but as aspirin isn't advised in "normal" PG I wondered whether it's a prescription after tests type thing or preventative?

Frillyfarmer · 14/05/2019 22:55

@InDreamland with my last pregnancy BFP on an FRER at 12DPO was a snowy white BFN on the sensitive One step ICs- I don't think they're sensitive at all!

@Beaglemum93 you're just a couple of days ahead of where I should be 😩 why has this happened again? I'm so mad I'm still fucking about with OPKs and avoiding knocked up friends all the while being told "at least you know you can get pregnant...you have a beautiful little boy". Today is a bad day.

Yukka · 14/05/2019 22:46

@moonpeace mine wee 2 at 5 weeks and 1 at 10 weeks. The theory with APS is that it can prevent good implantation in the early days, and placental development at the end of the first trimester when it starts to take over. Both can cause mc.

@laney79 as I recall pain in the right side is common And I had it early too, Ali b with other stomach pains and sensations, but if it’s consistent pain or getting worse, call epu to check.

Generally those of you in early pregnancy - it isn’t a blissful breeze and we are much much more sensitive to every twinge than none mc mums to be. Try to relax but just call go or Epu if you’re worried xx

ale2992 · 14/05/2019 18:10

Thanks everyone, trying my best to be relaxed and not worry but after two losses it's hard.
I wouldn't say they're cramps but I've felt pressure and uncomfortable in my stomach area on and off so that's causing me a little worry as well as a bit of back ache.
I'm starting to get nauseous so hoping that's a good sign.
I have another FRER so going to do that Friday to check if my lines are progressing 🤞🏻

Beaglemum93 · 14/05/2019 18:05

@Laney79 I had a niggly sensation on one side from about 5-6 weeks and it's definitely in the right place (I also had spotting, a small bleed and shoulder pain so I was fairly convinced it was ectopic). If you're worried it might be best to get an early scan so at least you have peace of mind.

Congrats @ale2992!

I hope you don't mind me staying on this thread for a while longer, still very nervous about the fate of this pregnancy.
My stats: currently 7+6 in third pregnancy after MMC in October where the baby died at 12+2 and a chemical pregnancy in March.

hayleyfx · 14/05/2019 17:12

@Yukka thank you for all the tips! Had the first Clexane injection today but the nurse did it for me - OMG it was so sore!! I’m seriously dreading doing it myself, I hate needles (unless they’re tattoo needles 🤣) so was freaking out. Will take all your tips on board and fingers crossed I can do it haha! 😬

@Mistymeow I’m okay thanks for asking! I’m now on daily injections, aspirin, high dose folic acid and other vitamins. Literally have a pill box now 🤣 the nurse is going to observe my injecting tomorrow to make sure I can actually do it haha!!

Feeling a bit less stressed now that I have my injections, tablets, etc. I really hope this treatment plan works. So nervous still but I’m doing everything I possibly can to help baby grow. My first scan is in exactly two weeks, I’m so scared... can’t believe I’m doing this all again - for the 6th time! 😁

@Laney79 so sorry for your worries. Hopefully someone who’s more clued up can help you, although with my son I did have a lot of cramping. Sometimes one sided. It scared me too but he was in the right place. Good luck xx

AliceRR · 14/05/2019 16:29

@Bluebelltulip Thank you. I’m sorry you’re having a bad day. Be gentle with yourself.

@Laney79 I know I’m my pregnancy (not ectopic) and even just sometimes during my cycle I have pains to one side. I even had pains in my shoulder and was convinced it could be ectopic by it was just my anxiety. Perhaps someone with direct experience of EP can give you more advice (and seek medical advice if you’re really worried even if only to set your mind at rest) but chances are everything is fine xx

Laney79 · 14/05/2019 16:16

Ladies I'm getting a bit anxious. I'm petrified this latest bubba is ectopic.

Over the past 3-4 days I've been noticing more pulling or sensation on my right side,..not painful as such just more niggly...I'm now winding myself up and convincing myself this time I'm having an ectopic. Anyone who's had ectopic, can you tell me what it was like? How it felt? I'm only 4+4 according to lmp (according to ovulation date I'm 5+3 apparently) but I'm definitely getting more sensation on the one side. I thought it had eased off yesterday but it's back again today...any thoughts? Anything I can do? Xxx

Bluebelltulip · 14/05/2019 13:07

I'm having a hard day today. Finding it hard to accept that this pregnancy is happening and keep doing tests even though they are coming up quickly and dark. No idea if an early scan would help this or not.

I also saw my friend with a baby who was due 2 weeks after me, a group of us were supposed to be going to the park before it got too hot but I just couldn't do it, cried in the middle of the street, me and another friend went somewhere else instead. I feel bad as its not anything against her but seeing her toddler interact with her baby just breaks my heart and reminds me so much that DD2 isn't here.

I hope you enjoy your meal @AliceRR.

Good luck at your appointment @Lilimum7.

AliceRR · 14/05/2019 12:13

@ImDreamland Thanks. I’m thinking a cocktail! 🍹

They seem to be quite cheap on amazon actually. The CB advanced digital are £35 for 20 and the CB connect (connect to an app) are £37 for 25 so thinking of trying those x

Squiff70 · 14/05/2019 11:38

Congratulations @ale2992!

Laney79 · 14/05/2019 11:26

@Lilimum7 thinking of you at your appointment today x

InDreamland · 14/05/2019 10:06

@AliceRR enjoy your meal out with a bottle of vino. So many people can be so rude.

@Mistymeow I hope I will be blessed with another pregnancy very very soon. I ran out of counselling sessions so no more. I could use my work one but they're not specialists in my fertility and mc issues.

@VenusStarr thank you x

@AliceRR I order mine from Amazon on a 2 monthly repeat delivery for additional discount. Never ordered them from Ebay so cannot comment on them.

AliceRR · 14/05/2019 09:49

(brand new boxed ones I mean)

VenusStarr · 14/05/2019 09:41

@InDreamland you haven't done anything to deserve this 💜 it's such a cruel, shit thing to have to go through. I totally understand that overwhelming, uncontrollable desire to be pregnant and to have my baby. We have to keep hoping it will happen and when that's hard, other people can hold our hope for us. I'm hopeful for you and everyone on here that we all get to hold our babies one day. Be kind to yourself xxxx

AliceRR · 14/05/2019 09:36

Would or have any of you order clearblue ovulation tests from eBay? I don’t think you can get “fake” ones 🤔

Mistymeow · 14/05/2019 09:06

@ale2992 congratulations! Such lovely news.
@indreamland I didn’t get a line on the ic until 12 dpo and even then you could barely see it. Have you considered being referred for counselling to help you with your feelings?
@hayleyfx how are you doing? Did you manage to speak to your doctors?

AliceRR · 14/05/2019 09:03

@ale2992 Congratulations!

@InDreamland I just think some people are rude

I POAS this morning just to “check” I’m not pregnant and I was right! 👍🙄

I am going out for dinner with a friend later so timing is good for having a drink

KnitKitty · 14/05/2019 07:55

@ale2992 Congratulations! xx

InDreamland · 14/05/2019 07:44

@AliceRR fx for all of us!

@ale2992 congratulations! That's a good line.

Did another IC this morning and stark white again - it'sa one step 10mlu/ml so sensitive. Am 11/12 dpo so think that's definitely me out again this month. The month I so desperately wanted a BFP just like last year's first BFP this cycle. My BFP foe this cycle last year should be 15 weeks old now ......... and my 2nd BFP should make me 31 weeks pregnant now. I have nothing .......... life is just one big kick in the teeth. Got upset yesterday when in Tesco I stepped aside to let woman with her double buggy pass and she just gave me a filthy look rather than smile or say thank you even. WTF have I done to deserve this.

VenusStarr · 14/05/2019 07:10

Congratulations @ale2992 :)

Bluebelltulip · 14/05/2019 07:03

Congratulations @ale2992

Frillyfarmer · 14/05/2019 06:50

@UnicornsandRainbows1 yes we are! It's a miserable predicament- I'm trying to jolly myself on to think it might just be bad luck and that I have DS and he was a very easy pregnancy up until about 30 weeks!

Congratulations @ale2992 x
