Thank you for all the congratulations. Smile I have a telephone appointment with my GP tomorrow to get referred to EPU for 6 week scan as requested by RMC.

@Raincart2017 I really hope the lines get darker hun. Fingers crossed!

@Mistymeow What a relief! I am so glad it's a cyst and nothing worse. Well done for being so brave!

@Lilimum7 I was given the progesterone prescription at my last RMC appointment. I got them from the pharmacy to use when I needed them.

@Squiff70 So sorry it doesn't look like good news. My OH is much the same; supportive, but completely clueless. Your feelings are normal and valid; you are certainly not a loser. Hugs xxx

@InDreamland Enjoy your trip!

InDreamland · 21/05/2019 19:41

Hi ladies. Sorry went AWOL for a few days, had an insanely busy weekend and then 2 mad days at work. On way now to airport to overnight in hotel as we fly to Italy in the morning and we don't like getting up at 3am to drive to airport.

CD7 here and started this cycles OPKs this morning. Bringing lots with me for our short break. This is now cycle 7 post mc#2 and 10 months since mc#1. So desperately want to be pregnant and have our rainbow.

@Mistymeow great news about the scan results. Phew!!!!!

@Squiff70 sorry you've had that disappointment. It's really horrible isn't it. Sending hugs your way.

@KnitKitty wow that is a line! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Fx for a sticky healthy bean.

@Raincart congratulations too! Fab news! Hope it's a sticky bean.

Sorry to see some new names here, it's the club noone wants to join but everyone is so supportive.

Catconfusion · 21/05/2019 19:10

Arh im sorry @Squiff70 it's completely understandable. It's so close to your due date as well so must be so hard for you. Guys find it so difficult to understand the emotions involved. All you can do is tell him how you feel. Sometimes I think the only way to be ok is to go through all the feelings that come up. I hope you're ok! Xx

Lilimum7 · 21/05/2019 18:48

@Squiff70 hun you are not a pathetic loser, your feeling are totally justified. Your completely right about the difference between men and womens feelings regarding loss. Sometimes it's best to let the feelings happen rather than pushing them down as long as it doesn't become too overwhelming. Don't forget we're all here for the same reason so lean on us when you need to xx

Thank you @Lilimum7 and @Catconfusion. My DP is great but he really doesn't get it - he doesn't get what it's like to see that pink line then have it snatched away. He just says we'll try again next month. He's gone to work and I'm sitting here sobbing like a pathetic loser.

Catconfusion · 21/05/2019 14:58

I'm so sorry @Squiff70 it's such a confusing and upsetting thing to happen. It's especially hard after loss to go through it again no matter how early. I know we all have our own individual stories but I remember being so mad the line wasn't darkening. I had lots of unmistakable pregnancy symptoms yet a faint positive test. It didn't seem right. It doesn't matter how common people tell you it is or how often people say not to test before a missed AF, it simply sucks! My thoughts are with you and I hope you're coping as well as you can! Xx

Lilimum7 · 21/05/2019 14:43

@Squiff70 oh hun I'm so sorry Flowers I know that awful feeling all to well. Look after yourself and I hope you and your partner are able the comfort each other xx

Frillyfarmer · 21/05/2019 13:46

@Mistymeow that's such a relief xx

Squiff70 · 21/05/2019 13:46

Not good news. This morning's FRER was the same and possibly paler than yesterday's. I think it's another chemical. AF due tomorrow. I'm devastated.

Lilimum7 · 21/05/2019 13:38

@KnitKitty did you get the prescription before you need them or did you have to wait for a positive test for the doctors to give you them.

OK so I'm drinking grapefruit juice up until ovulation and taking Vitamins, Q10, and vitamin tablets galore. After ovulation pineapple core 1dpo to 5dpo, progesterone cream until 14dpo. I don't drink alcohol or caffeine and don't smoke. What else should I do to help prevent another loss I can't take another one. I'll also be doing asprin and progesterone pessaries should I be lucky enough to ever get another bfp.

I can't be that unlucky for it to happen an 8th time

Thank you all for the positivity! Just hope the line gets stronger in the next few days x

@KnitKitty congratulations on your BFP xx

Lilimum7 · 21/05/2019 13:09

@Squiff70 congratulations fingers crossed for you xx
@Raincart2017 congratulations hope your lines get darker over the next few days
@KnitKitty there's no mistaking those lines hun congratulations xx
@Mistymeow great news about your appointment and results of the scan hun x

Sorry not to mention everyone. I've been awol and need time to get my head round another mc.

I'm currently cd10 (I usually ovulate today) but have nothing going on. Opks aren't even squinters either so very unsure what will happen this cycle, it may be that I won't ovulate this time or be much later. I just hate not knowing what my body is doing.

That must be a relief @Mistymeow, your reaction to the ultrasound machine is completely understandable.

Sorry your having a hard time @VenusStar and @UnicornsandRainbows1.

Hope you find out where you are in your cycle soon @Pinko.

pinkoi · 21/05/2019 12:49

@Mistymeow - yes I did get my BFN on Sunday eve, 9 days after the BFP.

Been bleeding lightly for 25 out of the last 30 days and feeling very tired, been to get some iron supplements to see if that helps. Would like the bleeding to stop now tho. Going to start with the ovulation sticks to see where I am at as I have had 3 lots of bleeding during this time so I'm not sure where CD 1 is.

Hope things are ok with you xxx

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 21/05/2019 11:48

Sorry I went a bit AWOL after joining, had to take a few days to myself as I was getting a bit down and everyone's decided to have their babies over the weekend.

I know I had a chemical and I know I'd only be 7 weeks now anyway but fuck this sucks so much.

AF should be here Sunday/Monday time. Roughly 7DPO if I ovulated at all

Mistymeow · 21/05/2019 11:43

@pinkoi lovely to hear from you. I’m sorry that you didn’t have a happy ending after the bleeds. How are you feeling today? Did you get a bfn?
@squiff70 that looks very promising! Have you tested again?
@raincart2017 exciting! Some women don’t get strong lines that’s why they say any line even if it’s faint is a positive. Fingers crossed!
@Venusstarr it’s so hard to deal with the loss of a much longed for baby and infertility. I struggle with this too. Feels like an uphill battle and a long slog. I try not to get disheartened by it and focus on the positives that we can get pregnant naturally. Sending love.
@knitkitty utterly thrilled for you!! What a lovely surprise as I know you didn’t have symptoms. How are you feeling today?

Thank you everyone for your kind words. It’s good news, an ultrasound confirmed it’s a cyst. I was terrified because the surgeon didn’t think it was and thought it was a Fibroadenoma that would need a biopsy. I started to cry when I saw the ultrasound machine because it brought back bad memories. But straight away the sonographer said “nothing to worry about. This is a cyst”. The relief is huge. They think it’s caused by hormone changes following the miscarriage and should resolve by itself. I will have to go back if it gets bigger. The surgeon was distractingly attractive Blush. It has put things into perspective. I thought my loss was rock bottom, but imagine if I’d had cancer I would probably have lost my fertility. So I’m feeling grateful. Now I need to wash this biro off my boob!

VenusStarr · 21/05/2019 09:53

Congratulations @KnitKitty and @Raincart2017 :) 🤞 it's lovely to see people getting their postitives.

I am struggling a bit as it feels so far away for me. I'd forgotten how overwhelming ttc can be. As we'd been trying so long and were off down the fertility clinic route, I'd not been so obsessive over tracking. Then to lose the baby and have to start again feels very much like an uphill battle.

AliceRR · 21/05/2019 09:32

Congrats on the BFPs! @KnitKitty @Raincart2017

Raincart2017 · 21/05/2019 08:16

Hi lovely ladies!
Just realised there's a new group! Sorry I have been out of the loop for the last month I just needed some time to focus on losing weight and getting fitter! Update on me, We were due to have our follow up fertility appointment last Thursday but after waiting around for an hour it was cancelled the Dr was sick! So it's rearranged for 5th June.

However AF was due on Saturday and she still hasn't appeared so yesterday evening I tested with FR kit and got a very faint BFP (big fat positive)! So decided to test this morning and I've got another very faint BFP (big fat positive)! This is yesterday's test I ran out of time to take a photo from this morning but it's very similar. I'm so confused as I thought if I am pregnant the concerntrated urine this morning would mean I would have a stronger result and confirm. HELP lovely ladies have any of you had such a faint line which developed?

Also hugs to all and hello to the newbies I'm sorry for your losses xx
