Any of you ladies still online tonight? I'm having my first period since a miscarriage and would really love to speak to anyone who's having a bit of a down time so we could vent together.

Lilimum7 · 23/05/2019 19:40

@Frillyfarmer how far along were you hun? I'm sorry to hear that. I've not really been keeping up with the group lately. I've had to take sometime to sort my head out and then I had the chemical so I've been out of the loop abit xx

Frillyfarmer · 23/05/2019 19:28

Yes @Lilimum7 deffo positive.

I'm just all at sea with this cycle. I'm 7DPO no preggo symptoms and no AF symptoms which is unheard of. Praying I don't have a really long cycle after last MC on 1st May.

Islandermum · 23/05/2019 18:49

Good luck!!

Lilimum7 · 23/05/2019 18:26

@Islandermum thank you

Now just got to get DH on board ( literally) at 3am (poor man will have just finished a 15 hour shift driving the lorry) hope I can get him in the mood

Hi all! Hoping to join. I'm 23, first time TTC.
Cycle #1 TTC after chemical pregnancy 20th May. (Negative pregnancy test this morning so hopefully will be able to try this month)
Cycle day #1 (assumed)

Gutted about the chemical pregnancy but focusing on the good and the future.

Raincart2017 · 23/05/2019 17:32

Well that positive test was short lived! Definitely a chemical pregnancy I started bleeding when I got home! Not sure how I'm feeling right now. I just need to try to and focus on the fertility appointment on 5th June and continue losing weight X

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 23/05/2019 17:00

So I'm a bit cautious of this given the chemical last month but there we go. I'm 9dpo and about an hour or two ago this has happened (the strip one is pretty edited). No idea how to feel if I'm being honest but we'll just wait and see what happens

Hi ladies so think im might ovulate on the next 24 hours. I've got ovulation pains, very emotional, my drive is though the roof, a positive opk about an hour ago but no ewcm. It is 3 days later than usual though.

Fingers crossed if we catch this time it's not another chemical pregnancy.

How are you ladies doing today?

Treaclepie19 · 23/05/2019 15:29

Hi all. I tried to jump in here before and hopped back out because I was too nervous.
I'm back on the folic acid as of tonight and just waiting for this months cycle to be over, another 2 weeks probably.
Hoping to use that time to lose some weight.

Stats again:
29, TTC journey is one miscarriage, one son born in Sept 15 and a little boy we lost to a TFMR in December.

Scared stiff 🙈

@Hayleyfx I did at times have to go round the edges of a bruise, it hurts more but like you ran out of space. Try and stick to going across in a line left to right over a week, and when you get back to the start the first bruise will be gone enough for you to go again. Failing that, double check with gp or nurse or consultant about going into your thighs, I heard a lot of women do that. I also heard women in later pregnancy go up the sides - basically where there are fat bits . . .

Sorry I havne't had chance to read up yet but I can see there are some new BFP's great news.

@Laney79 stay with it, remember if its brown its old. early pregnancy is so complicated. how many weeks are you now? sorry to hear about your AMH results too. I don't know much about that test, but I would hope they'd stil let you to IVF, given they can give you hormones to promote the egg and physically select the good ones. Here's hoping you don't need it xx

Raincart2017 · 23/05/2019 11:11

So I think I'm having my first chemical pregnancy having brown/pink discharge or is this normal? Any advice would greatful!!

Laney79 · 23/05/2019 08:19

Thanks @KnitKitty have a feeling I may need them. Tiniest amount of creamy/brown tinged cm on wiping this morning. Exact same thing happened at the exact same point with my second loss. Not feeling hopeful 😢

KnitKitty · 23/05/2019 07:59

@Laney79 they're called ear seeds. They're tiny wee metal beads which you stick on an acupressure/acupuncture point on the ear (they come with a mini see-through adhesive which just acts like a sticker on your skin and should stay on for a few days). My acupuncture lady told me to give them a squeeze whenever I feel like I'm getting anxious. She said she doesn't know if it's the acupuncture point or just a distraction method which makes them work, but she swears by them. I had to get OH to guide my finger to where they are because they're so small I couldn't locate them on my ears at first Grin, but now I know where to look for them I can feel them. I'll let you know if they work for me today.

Laney79 · 23/05/2019 07:38

@AliceRR thinking of you, I hope your appointment went as well as it could. I just want to send you a huge penguin hug.

@Kayjay2018 @FirstTimeMama91 I've been having reflexology with a therapist that specialises in fertility etc since my first mc. I find it really relaxing and helpful. I have no idea if it does anything to stimulate my fertility or not but I do know I feel better after a session!

@KnitKitty I hope I won't need the ivf too! I have another acupuncture session on Sunday...I'm going fortnightly at the mo as it's £50 a time so costs are racking up a bit. She mentioned ear beads last time...what are they??? I still struggle with it being needles and all with my phobia but as I've fallen preggers while doing it I don't want to stop...just keep swimming as dory would say!

KnitKitty · 22/05/2019 22:12

@Laney79 sorry about the bad news hun. I really hope that it's a moot point and this baba sticks and you won't have to think about IVF. Hugs xxx

@hayleyfx Yey for the good pregnancy tests! But sorry your tummy is so bruised! Hopefully it'll all be worth it. Best of luck with your scan.

@Mistymeow Hurrah for AF coming to town! Woop!

@AliceRR How did the appointment go? Thinking of you. xxx

@Squiff70 I'm really sorry hun. I've had CPs and they're horrible. Hugs xx

@moonpeace 15 minutes reprieve is a good start. I've just had an acupuncture session and my lady has put ear beads on so I can squeeze them whenever I'm anxious. Should last me til about Saturday. You could maybe look into getting some?

Spoke to my GP today who has booked my first scan at EPU. Apparently it's their protocol in this situation to do first scan at 7 weeks so that the heartbeat is visible, which I'm fine about. So I have my appointment in 3 weeks.
Getting weekly acupuncture now. Doing mindful breathing techniques and trying to focus on positive thoughts.

FirstTimeMama91 · 22/05/2019 21:41

@Kayjay2018 me too, should be ovulating next week. Fingers crossed for us x

Kayjay2018 · 22/05/2019 21:27

@FirstTimeMama91, my AF only arrived last weds, finished yesterday. Was just over 4 weeks for me. I'm ready to try again so hope I ovulate this month.

I want to do a bit more research on the reiki part. I believe in the reflexology bit as I have been using the little bit I learned to sort out my sinuses for year and it seems to work.

This lady does it for fertility, pregnancy and new mum/baby - I would love to need all that!

FirstTimeMama91 · 22/05/2019 20:47

@Kayjay2018 Awk sorry to hear that Thanks as you say, hopefully we get our bfps soon!

I'll deff try it. Gonna google it now too and see what it says.

My AF only came last Wednesday so was 6 weeks since mc. Feeling much better since it came. It was a horrible wait x

Kayjay2018 · 22/05/2019 20:43

Hi, @firsttimemama91, I'm still struggling emotionally since my mc at 7weeks in April and have found a lady who specialises in fertility reflexology and she had a cancellation today so I have had my first session! She also does reiki, so added some of that in too, she did that on my head, heart and feet and then did the reflexology session.

I have to admit I cried as we talked before the session started but came away very relaxed. My Fitbit shows that my heart rate dropped to the lowest it's been since I got it about half hour in, so it did something!

She said with the reiki(i dont know too much about it) she would focus on helping me through the grieving process so it doesn't stagnate, and will then focus more on fertility. Apparently, she believes I'm in good health at the moment. Next session booked for 12th June - would be sooner but our holidays mean that's the next session we can do.

I'm hoping to ovulate next week like you, I didn't ovulate last month (she said the body is clever and knows when you are ready to get back to normal).

Sorry to hear about your mc, fingers crossed there are some more bfps soon

FirstTimeMama91 · 22/05/2019 19:59

Welcome to the club @Sparkle0109 sorry to see you're here too Thanks you're v similar to me - 27, ttc since Feb and had MC at 7 weeks in April x
