@@cleozeta @russkispy I'm 13dpo, AF due tomorrow! Got a bag full of these cheapies so I'll try again tomorrow with fmu and see what that brings. Feel like I almost daren't get good news

Cleozeta · 30/05/2019 18:19

Great news karry! Bat that was a nice surprise Smile
Petra - so pleased all is looking good, yes we are very similar stats so my hope is rising again! I will not write myself off quite yet.

Ellie - I might be able to see a shadow of something in that pic! How many dpo are you? Try again in the morning, fingers crossed for you!

Karrigan - glad things are still going well for you!

Kim - DHEA is a suppliment widely used in America to help support follicles etc. Not really advised in uk. No idea why.

Eloisa - sorry it didn't work out for you. I understand your not wanting the scan though. I have decided if I ever get lucky again I may not scan until 12 weeks to keep hope alive, as last time I had a great scan at 7 weeks it ended pretty soon after (but I didn't know until 10 weeks)
Good luck with your DE, thats a great plan and much more chance of success!

Russkispy · 30/05/2019 18:18

@PetraRabbit great news on the scan! What a relief! And hope everything goes well from here onwards! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
@karryk you must be relieved! Hope you enjoyed that slice of cake!
@EllieJaye think I can see a line there?! How many dpos are you? Maybe try tomorrow morning with a FRER?! Fingers crossed!
@eloisa246 so sorry to hear your news Sad
I also have a plan B with donor egg. Yet to decide when to start the process

eloisa246 · 30/05/2019 17:13

hello ladies, I was reading the thread today after a long absence and saw Littlemimosa asking after me! Thanks! First I want to say congrats to everyone who's getting good news at the moment - so wonderful.
My own story hasn't worked out so well - I should be 13 weeks but my scan showed hardly any development. There was an embryo but it was so small it couldn't be dated. And there's no way my dates are that far out. So I'm waiting to miscarry.. I should have taken up the offer of an early scan but I chickened out - I just wanted the spark of hope to last a bit longer. I also took progesterone supplements which I think delayed signs of miscarriage. So I wanted to enjoy a bit of hope for as long as possible, even though in retrospect I'd have been wiser to figure out what was happening much earlier.
After this experience I'll stop trying to have a biological child. That feels right for me and quite a relief. But I will go back to the donor egg plan which I was embarking on when this pregnancy turned up and caused a bit of a detour!
Much love to all.

karryk · 30/05/2019 16:08

Thank you lovely ladies ❤️ fingers and toes crossed for the coming weeks.

@PetraRabbit I know exactly how you feel...(Congrats btw!) there's momentary relief and then you start worrying about the next milestone...especially when it seems so far away. But thinking lots of positive thoughts for you - hope bub continues to thrive and grow...and will soon be rearranging your insides...ha xx

Kimm123 · 30/05/2019 15:26

Hey ladies...what is DHEA

Karigan195 · 30/05/2019 15:13

@PetraRabbit. Not sure it ever stops Petra. I’m 27 weeks today and am sitting here being beaten up from the inside out yet still so worried about something happening

EllieJaye · 30/05/2019 14:54

@petrarabbit that's great news 😀

PetraRabbit · 30/05/2019 13:42

And our 12 week scan went well today. The worry continues now towards the 20 week scan...it's ridiculous..I'm trying to take the view that we never stop worrying about our children even when they're born (or in their adult lives !) so may as well enjoy the positive news so far!

PetraRabbit · 30/05/2019 13:40

Cleo- our stats are very similar! I'm always reading and hoping for you and the other regular posters.

KarryK - woohoo!!

EllieJaye · 30/05/2019 13:35

turquoiseturtle · 30/05/2019 13:05

@karryk - Oh brilliant! I was hoping for that. So glad you had some positive news. Enjoy your well-deserved cake!

EllieJaye · 30/05/2019 12:37

Ah, that's wonderful news @Karryk Sending lots of babydust your way!!

Constance1234 · 30/05/2019 11:23

KarryK that's amazing news!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed for an uneventful rest of your pregnancy xx

karryk · 30/05/2019 11:20

Thank you ladies! ❤️

Just had my scan.....there is still a heartbeat!! Can't quite believe it and God knows I'm going to be paranoid as heck until my follow up scan in two weeks but at least for today I can sort of relax Blush

Not counting my chickens as I had a good scan at 7 weeks with mc2 and that went pear-shaped a week later, so anything could happen. But for now...on we go ❤️

Right, I'm going to find that m&s and get a huge slice of cake xxx

turquoiseturtle · 30/05/2019 11:01

@karryk - good luck! glad they were able to see you today xxx

EllieJaye · 30/05/2019 10:13

Sending positive vibes @Karryk - will be thinking of you, what time is your appointment?

Constance1234 · 30/05/2019 10:12

@karryk thinking of you and sending lots of good thoughts x

weasledee · 30/05/2019 09:57

Cleozeta · 30/05/2019 09:44

Arrggghh!!! Good luck!!

karryk · 30/05/2019 09:26

@Cleozeta they've just called and said they can see me after all! Argh. The ups and downs! At least I'll know today. Hope everyone has a really nice day ❤️

Cleozeta · 30/05/2019 08:58

Petra - that's amazing, and you hace given me so much hope at a time where it was really starting to fall. My AMH is 2.9 so also super low, my cycles are naturally short now, around 24 days with ovulation mostly around cd14 so short LP. It has given me hope that you have been successful with similar stats. Maybe all is not lost quite yet Smile

Sparrow - I have been taking DHEA now for a while, my LP did go shorter the cycle I started on it, but I don't think it was that that caused it. I'm currently on 50mg, it's supposed to be very good for our age group, and great for raising AMH. Who knows if it works but I'll try anything!
Also when I went to see a specialist at the clinic I asked what I could do to raise egg quality and prevent mc and he said the only clinicly proven thing was DHEA but you can't get it in the UK. (I dodn't tell him I'd already bagged some - ha)

Boosey - sorry af has got you too. Fingers crossed for us next cycle!

Karry - how annoying, I hope they manage to get someone else in to do it!

karryk · 30/05/2019 08:07

Frustrating news...the sonographer (why do they only have one??!) is sick so I might have to wait until tomorrow for a scan Sad she's going to try to get someone else in but isn't sure...

Pants. I'd psyched myself up for it as well...and planned to buy a large consolation/celebration cake from the M&S in the hospital on the way back! 😩

rosegardenista · 30/05/2019 07:57

@booseysmum no my previous username didn't have anything to do with roses, so thinking of different user 😀

Chatbash72 · 30/05/2019 07:26

Ooh @Cleozeta I hear you, think af is rumbling..
read the article @SparrowSG 600 mg Co Enzyme q10!! I only take 200mg.. might have to increase that..
congrats @PetraRabbit
@turquoiseturtle goodness and keeping everything crossed @karryk
Sending love ladies
