@karryk really pleased to hear your scan went well, hope you can breathe a teeny bit easier now

EllieJaye · 13/06/2019 16:01

@rubyroot really sorry to hear your news. I'm in the same position so 100% know some of what you're feeling

karryk · 13/06/2019 15:53

Thank you @Russkispy @MaryShelley1818 @rubyroot Flowers

Yes, because I had some spotting between weeks 5-7 and my history of early losses, they did a scan at 7ish weeks and this one at 9 weeks. Now I have to wait until 3 Jul for the first 'official' scan. Hopefully bub will grow happily and still be there 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

rubyroot · 13/06/2019 15:43

Great stuff @karryk after a heartbeat at this stage chances of miscarriage drastically reduce. Was this a reassurance scan before your 12 week one?

MaryShelley1818 · 13/06/2019 15:23

Fantastic news Karry, keeping everything crossed for a lovely healthy pregnancy for you xx

Russkispy · 13/06/2019 15:03

@karryk great news! Phew!! When is your next scan?!

karryk · 13/06/2019 14:56

Some good news....bub is still very much there...phew. Measuring 9w2d. Now fingers and toes crossed for the next milestone - definitely not taking anything for granted but just for tonight I can sort of relax Brew

rubyroot · 13/06/2019 10:02

karryk · 13/06/2019 08:20

So sorry @rubyroot Flowers I know what you mean - I seem to get pregnant fairly swiftly but I must have more than my share of dodgy eggs! Wishing you lots of love over the next few weeks and much baby dust in the coming months xxx

I've got my scan at 11am.... Slightly petrified Blush argh....

hmmm123 · 12/06/2019 23:36

@rubyroot I'm so sorry to hear your news ☹️

Afm AF is imminent ☹️.on the plus side I can drink on holiday next week 😀 every cloud and all that!

I'm going to give it until the end of the summer and if nowt is happening by then I'm out as Deborah meadan would say. I'll have given it a good shot but I'll accept that it wasn't meant to be and make peace with it

Fingers crossed for everyone still in with a chance this month and for our pregnant ladies

Russkispy · 12/06/2019 22:38

@rubyroot sorry to read your news. Look after yourself ThanksThanksThanks

rubyroot · 12/06/2019 22:27

@EllieJaye please let us know how you get on tomorrow.

Unfortunately it hasn’t ended well for me- full on bleed today (about five weeks)

I’m hoping there’s some good eggs in there, so I’m not giving up quite yet.

I seem to be able to conceive without a problem, but my eggs don’t seem to be any good. Wonder why my body keeps allowing then to implant?!

twinkledag · 11/06/2019 22:06

Sorry to hear your news @EllieJaye ❤️

Russkispy · 11/06/2019 21:05

Thanks Chat for that inspiring news about Liz Earle. Just read an article about her..can't believe she's the same age as me and it was completely natural! Hopefully the link below works..

It never ceases to amaze me actually how out of the blue things like this can be. The human body is indeed incredible!

pookypup · 11/06/2019 17:42

Sorry to hear your news wasn’t good Ellie Flowers

EllieJaye · 11/06/2019 16:31

So, as I knew really its not looking good for me.

My GP has been great I have to say, saw her at 8am this morning, she had me in with the nurse for bloods by 8.20am and has called me this afternoon with the results.

Unfortunately my HCG is only at 78, which at 5+4 is not a good sign. I have repeat bloods Thursday morning to see what is happening but I am realistic the outcome is highly likely to be bad news. Still cramping but no bleeding as of yet.

I broke down at the docs this morning but just feeling rather numb right now tbh

Chatbash72 · 11/06/2019 16:04

Sorry ladies bitching migraine has rumbled on for the last few days and had knocked me off kilter a little... think it's hormonal so hey maybe some stonking eggs ready to go...
will reply better when feeling a little more human but will say have listened to Gi fletchers latest pod cast... liz Earle !!! Had her last baby at 47 was told by drs her hormone levels were so low she needed worry about catching... and low and behold a baby... please dont give up hope... the human female body is incredible you just have to trust in her..

rubyroot · 11/06/2019 16:02

@EllieJaye how’s things today? I’m wondering if your cramps are just early pregnancy cramps and twinges?! Hoping you’re alright x
