Anybody in their 2WW?

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (hopefully!), due AF on 13th May, anybody else starting their 2WW?

(Warning: I am a serial symptom spotter and POAS addict, I have zero willpower 😂)

@Mmama18 Wow, that’s amazing... I really admire optimists. You must be getting lots of endorphins which is fantastic for your health...

@TryingVeryHard2015 I’m also quite new to this, this was our third month which just ended in af. I still haven’t learnt how not to get my hopes up. This month was better than the last but I still had that flicker of a hope that...perhaps those cramps meant implantation or... that being bothered by certain smells meant I was pg... oh well. Now it will be even more “fun” as my pregnant co-worker is coming back from her several-week long holiday so I’ll have to deal with her as a daily reminder of my another failed month. I really like her and I’m genuinely happy for her but she talks a lot (!) and now she’s obviously talking about nothing but her pregnancy. It’s going to be so tough...

@Roo3125 I can definitely see a line on the inverted photo. 🤞🏻Great idea to check it like that!

@BananaPalm I am annoyingly (according to friends and family! 😂) optimistic about everything, I get excited about even little things like a kid at Christmas! I tend to have a panic/off day when anything bad happens or goes wrong and then get my positive head back on and push on forward. It’s a lovely way to be MOST of the time, but with things like TTC in can be crushing, but I don’t know how else to be!
🤞 for you @Roo3125 I can definitely see something on the inverted but agree it looks a little grey in the colour pic. Hope AF stays away!

@RudyRoo I don't have any frers left but will pick one up tomorrow if af still hasn't shown!

I've been feeling weird for a few days - dry mouth, really tired, sore boobs etc but bfn on Sunday there. I don't want to get my hopes up but I'm sure I can see colour in it!

Not sure if I'm optimistic or pessimistic this morning...13dpo and my frer is blankety blank! We're talking daz white. Aside from the odd dizzy spell, a tiny bit of heartburn and a few odd tummy cramps last night...nothing 😖 AF due tomorrow (I think!)

@BananaPalm I definitely convinced myself it wasn't my month every month. Think it's easier to take it when it's bad news that way. But I am more of a realist than an optimist!

@TryingVeryHard2015 I was considering whether it was an evap too, but it was within the time and looks quite purple/pink in real life.

If I've still no af by tomorrow then I'll buy another frer. Really thought I was out too! 🤦‍♀️ 14dpo today too!

@Bananapalm - I'm inherently pessimistic (I prefer realistic) about everything but that's just me. I'm only technically on cycle one and I'm thinking how to deal with it going forward. If I expect Af and she doesn't turn up that's better for me than being all positive. I both envy and get annoyed by positive people. Grin

@Roo3125 - I see something faint but on camera it looks a bit grey (even though it is probably not irl). How is your bank balance and can you stand the hit of another frer? Also can your sanity take it.

Im 14dpo today. Crampy as anything so will test Thursday if I'm not out by then!

@MrsG3 I think I’d wait with the frers and use the cheapos if you’ve got some. Unless you’re “feeling it”... good luck!
For me af is due today and clearly on her way so I guess I’m out for this month 😔

By the way, how do you ladies approach each 2ww, especially towards the end of it? Do you try to convince yourselves that “most probably it’s not my month” so that the disappointment of af is less painful, or do you genuinely stay positive and keep your hopes up until the af comes? What helps you most to get through this 2ww over and over again? I’ve had a conversation with my friend about it this weekend and our approaches are sooo very different...

@MMama18 sorry for the radio silence, in Italy now ☺️ so sorry AF has come this month, however, like you say, at least she has come on time and you haven't had to wait ages not knowing, so you can move on fresh with the new month and new opportunity x

@Kiskacsa she’s come in full force too, I usually have a light day first but she’s making herself known this month 😫 pomegranate juice to blame maybe?! I’m using OPKs for certain this time, looking into preconception vitamins too, I was taking Seven Seas with DD but have just been taking supermarket folic acid and vitamin D so might give them a go

AF has arrived! Grateful really after the BFN, at least I’ve not had to wait around! Reconvene in approximately 2 weeks when we’ve all ovulated and are pulling our hair out again?! 😫😂

I'm 12dpo. Holding off (if I can) until Wednesday. A bfn will kill me right now. Granted all my symptoms have disappeared so I fear they were all in my head and I'll be out too.

Yeah, BFN. Thought I added that, sorry. Still have 3 days before af is due but I'm not sure how that works.

So I am officially a mad woman! 13DPO and a BFN on a FRER. Had a little cry (silly I know) I’m just waiting for AF to arrive now, hopefully she’ll be on time tomorrow so I can get it over with and start a fresh cycle! Going out with DH and DD somewhere for the day to cheer myself up, working towards a February due date now hopefully 🤞

@ohrobin - maybe - it’s only one day a month and brief. I’ve also had two intrauterine ultrasounds for pcos (which I have) so I kind of assume that if there were fertility issues associated with endo like blocked tubes it would have been spotted
