Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (hopefully!), due AF on 13th May, anybody else starting their 2WW?

(Warning: I am a serial symptom spotter and POAS addict, I have zero willpower 😂)

Hi itshappened thank you so much for your reply I am spotting today but it's very pale cm with a slight beige pink tinge I have never had this ever before (tmi I'm so sorry lol) this TWW is awful I think because I haven't paid much attention to things after the miscarriage and the month I found out I was pregnant I had no idea because I had had a period and only found out because I bled 2 days after my period finished so this for me is something I have never experienced and the sore boobs and exhaustion I only get mildly when I'm about to get my period but at the moment it's so bad I sleeping so much and still exhausted and it's hard to wear bras because my booba hurt I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news it's my fiances birthday next week so a pregnancy would be amazing for both of us but the best gift for him so fingers crossed I will keep.my fingers crossed for you also and I'm so sorry to hear about your losses thank you again for your reply xxx

@natalieAMH the blood could be implantation bleeding. I have been feeling funny since day 3 post ovulation. My boobs are bigger and I have some dull cramping in my tummy. I also feel a bit more tired than usual, and have felt nauseous periodically though the day. I can get similar symptoms before my period which is why it can be confusing, but this would be my 5th pregnancy (only one that went full term) and every time I experienced early symptoms. Therefore based on my experience only, it may not be the too early for you to have symptoms.

Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong place! I’m a newbie

I’m 42 and been ttc #2 for over a year. Over the past 6 months my cycle has been getting longer (it was 25 days and very regular before but now it can be anything up to 30 days. This has meant that every month I think I’m late, get all excited that this might be the month but then get my period :-(
I’ve done a few tests over the last few months and it’s so horrible to see a negative result.
I am now on day 32 since my last period. I used Clearblue OPK this month and according to that I ovulated on day 14 so I’m now 18 dpo. Not sure whether to do a test. Am getting the normal cramps I get every month. Little bit of nausea but I sometimes have that with PMT. Don’t want the disappointment of a negative test but also going a bit crazy wondering whether I am pregnant! Please Help!

@itshappened it's so hard TTC after MC. It literally sucks any excitement out of a BFP and those early weeks. Fingers crossed we both get our rainbows this month xx

tigerlily · 20/05/2019 21:00

And I've started cramping again..

tigerlily · 20/05/2019 20:59

Anyone get a sore throat as a pregnancy symptom and get a bfp?

chanderl · 20/05/2019 20:12

I am. Only 1DPO so a long wait ahead

itshappened · 20/05/2019 20:10

I'm 7 days post ovulation. TTC my 2nd baby, but have had three miscarriages in the last year. Trying to stay positive. I'm feeling pregnant, as I always get signs early on, but don't want to get my hopes up. I know it's to early to test but it's so tempting!

Frillyfarmer · 20/05/2019 19:44

Can I jump on? I'm 4DPO ttc#2. I've had 2 early MCs so far this year so I'm terrified of another one. Nothing much happening here, slightly sore boobs.

tigerlily · 20/05/2019 19:35

New to this thread..
I'm 5dpo today and developed a sore throat and I've already coughed up what I call a bloody furball. Bloody literally. I've read it's a good sign towards a big fat positive but we will see what happens in the next few days.

MMama18 · 20/05/2019 19:21

@josprout 🤞 for you too! I know! I haven’t even ovulated yet and I’m already wishing away the 2WW 🙈

josprout · 20/05/2019 19:12

I'm cd4 now after my withdrawal bleed of 3 days so may have a short cycle still. From past experience my cycle went back to normal after withdrawal bleed from stopping the pill.

Fingers crossed for you @MMama18

Just want to fast forward to 10dpa so I can take a test!

chanderl · 20/05/2019 18:47

Nothing from me, just 1DPO so a long wait!

MMama18 · 20/05/2019 18:45

How’s everyone doing?
I’m in the midst of DTD every other day, judging from last month thinking ovulation will hopefully be end of the week/weekend roughly so will be in the 2WW again from early next week.
Any updates from anyone?

Haha. Thanks poppet, I needed that laugh!

josprout · 19/05/2019 22:21

@showmethegin I have to guess what they means have the time. Fmu stumped me for a bit!

showmethegin · 19/05/2019 21:59

Thanks for the tip! We'll try those, willing to try anything now! Yep, it's our first, cycle 9. Feels like a lifetime. I'm 30, DP (you're right, hate the acronyms!) is 28.

josprout · 19/05/2019 21:42

@showmethegin you're right you freak out thinking your pregnant all the time you don't want to be and the minute you want to be it's a whole different ball game.

When we caught with my son (ds1 or whatever I'm meant to call it on these sites- sounds more like a computer consol than a child!!) we used the boots "his and hers" trying to conceive tablets. I got the same this time round. It's just got stuff in that supposedly help boost sperm and then it has vitamins and folic acid etc.

Are you trying for your first? What cycle are you on? We are trying for number 2 and on cycle 2 now

showmethegin · 19/05/2019 21:00

To clarify DP is taking folic acid too as I heard it helps men too. He's been amazing, he's quit smoking which he's been trying to do for years and is eating super healthy (as we both are). It's shit isn't it. You spend years thinking one missed pill and you'll be pregnant with quads and the second you actually try it's really hard.

showmethegin · 19/05/2019 20:51

Thanks @josprout currently treating myself to a big gin and some stand up comedy on tv. I've been taking folic acid, is there anything you recommend? I've heard zinc is good?

josprout · 19/05/2019 18:45

@showmethegin that sounds so shit and I completely get you. Our bodies know how to make us feel shits. Head for the Gin/Wine and numb the period pains and try and focus on next cycle. Are you both taking vitamins? We both are and did with first pregnancy. Xx

showmethegin · 19/05/2019 17:21

And now I'm agony again. AF has arrived. Please pardon my French but I'm so fucking fucking sick of this. For the first time in months I got my hopes up just to be dashed yet again. Doesn't help that my period pains are murder. Just feels like just that extra kicker when I'm down. I really thought I'd finally caught. Sorry for the pity party

josprout · 19/05/2019 12:33

@MrsG3 ahh that's like me. I'm only on first cycle so trying to focus on staying positive for next. It's just an emotional roller coaster. Hope next cycle is positive for you x
