Thanks everyone, I feel like a weight has been lifted!
The doc rang me while I was in an office and I had to answer the call in a large busy corridor and she asked what tests DH had had so I was trying to whisper 'sperm analysis' as quietly as I could several times 😂 I am sure people heard me 🙈.

@MrsEG she said I would get a referral letter with an appointment through the post, fingers crossed it is soon!
That is so unfair, I would definitely question it with your Gp, mention you have a friend who is in the same position that has been referred.

@KatBeCool fingers crossed it will hold off!
Yes I think Clomid might work well for me as it seems to be the Soy is like a weaker version?

Marleym28 · 03/05/2019 17:08

@KatBeCool fingers crossed it's a good spotting.

I keep checking the tissue every time I see hoping for a teeny few specs but nothing 🙈

@FlapJackered that's good news!

KatBeCool · 03/05/2019 16:44

@cherryblossomgin gonadotropin is pretty effective, it's rare that it doesn't work.

@starkid it's the same capsule, you can use it differently. And each way has side effects for me.

@FlapJackered that's great news! If all tests are good, Clomid is the first thing they do.

So I saw a tiniest amount of brown blood this morning, not even when I wiped, saw it "floating" before I flushed. I'm so hoping it's not AF spotting. I'm checking every ten minutes but nothing since.

starkid · 03/05/2019 16:36

@FlapJackered- so pleased for you, definitely sounded mad to start at 2 year wait again! Fx for you with your future tests, seems like we'll be going through it all around the same time :) xx

Fivebyfive2 · 03/05/2019 14:56

@flapjackered, that is great news, so glad they saw sense and aren't makiyou wait / forcing you to go private. Let us know how it all goes. Do you think they'll get cracking right away? Xx

My bro just called, he passed his driving test! So proud of him! I almost spilled the beans as we were both getting excited, but resigned myself in!

MrsEG · 03/05/2019 14:30

@FlapJackered Yay Great news!! I was told the same, so I’ll have to go back in and argue my case!! I was told I’d also be back to square one and I’d only be referred to the recurrent miscarriage unit if it happened again (please lord no) for tests. So pleased for you - are they cracking on with the tests right away?

@LokiCat Yeah we would definitely get an early scan just with our history. I think it’s really personal to the individual though as some women are filled with fear when it comes to scans!

@MrsH497 The midwife will date your pregnancy at the moment from the first day of your last period. You get your ‘actual’ due date at the dating scan at 12 weeks :)

LokiCat · 03/05/2019 14:26

@FlapJackered that's great news! Glad she rechecked and got back to you! Xx

Bettythecat · 03/05/2019 14:23

@FlapJackered that's such good news!! Common sense has prevailed!! Xx

cherryblossomgin · 03/05/2019 13:58

@FlapJackered @orangeloo the doctors are pretty confident it will work but I am not letting myself get my hopes up. Grin

Dollywilde · 03/05/2019 13:50

Great news @flapjackered, must be a big weight off your mind!

Just checking in, not much to report here but gearing up for Cycle 2. AF finished yesterday so looking forward to feeling like I can do something! OPKs arriving on Tuesday (cd10) so will start using them then. Fully expect I will have stupid questions in the first month so hopefully I can badger you guys about them Grin

@bettythecat what bad timing for ov! We have guests when I’m due to ov this month, I’ve already told DH he’ll just have to hand out earplugs when they arrive Wink

MrsR16 · 03/05/2019 13:45

@MrsH497 yep? You're 5 weeks pregnant today 😊 soon flies by! Xx

@FlapJackered that's amazing news! 🎉🎉 xx

FlapJackered · 03/05/2019 13:23

Doctor just called and she had double checked the criteria with the powers that be and she says the miscarriage doesn't count after all!!!!! So I have been referred to a specialist! So SO happy!! I was really not looking forward to paying for private and this will save us ££££!

@Bettythecat @Marleym28 I am sure it is just the progesterone that is causing the nausea and as I am using progesterone cream too this cycle that would make sense!

@KatBeCool fingers crossed it's just a blip temp. The waiting is no fun but try not to worry about it until af turns up. X

starkid · 03/05/2019 12:05

@KatBeCool - that's interesting the difference between oral and not-oral progesterone. Might be a digestive issue... Would you be able to switch back?
Yeah, am hoping for a small, easily fixed problem to come back from the scans/tests, so can get on the saddle knowing we're in full working order 😂 I know it's likely to be blockage from scarring, but you never know I guess. Sorry you are still none the wiser your end Sad

Bettythecat · 03/05/2019 11:39

@FlapJackered @Marleym28 I have also started getting pre af sickness 🙄. Didn't get any sickness when I was actually pg but when I'm desperately trying to be I feel sick. Cheers body 🤦‍♀️

Bettythecat · 03/05/2019 11:38

Will catch up on all the other posts at lunch but just wanted to say @KatBeCool i am in exactly the same boat as you. Started af yesterday at 10 DPO which means I am likely to ovulate when I am in New York for work 😫. Should be excited about the opportunity but all I want to do is to be at home so that I can BD!! Even considered tying to get DH to come out too!! Apparently he thinks that's overkill. Part of me does think perhaps a month off without the TWW would not be the worst thing ever. Would you mind telling me about your progesterone meds? Why/how did you get prescribed them? Xxx

KatBeCool · 03/05/2019 10:53

@FlapJackered I'm 10dpo, massive temp drop today, far below cover line. Never seen it this low. I'm extremely worried as this would be my old luteal phase length before progesterone and this cycle I switched back to oral, so worried it's not enough and AF is coming, and if it is, next ovulation will fall exactly when I'm away from DH for several days. I hate these "wait until tomorrow" games. Also boobs have been quite sore. Definitely a difference between oral and "not oral" progesterone, when it comes to sore boobs, I felt nothing on not oral.

@starkid good luck with all the tests! You almost want them to find something (minor, of course) so that you Lou know what is causing issues. Don't be like me where all the tests are great and yet I'm still here.

McHelenz · 03/05/2019 10:41

I'm in town having my hair cut. Having to really resist going to Poundland for cheap tests...

starkid · 03/05/2019 10:36

Thanks everyone, it's a massive weight off my shoulders (not that I have answers yet of course, but at least things are happening). Am still going to try and track my ovulation with opk's as usual, only on cd11 at the mo so not quite the fertile week but going to start every other/every 3 days again for dtd.

@orangeloo - fx the spotting isn't AF xx
@Marleym28 - I do the same, getting excited when all the symptoms seem to be falling in place. I try and go 'oh it's definitely not this month' but can never stop hoping! Even worse that you even feel sick before AF, what a red herring!!

orangeloo · 03/05/2019 10:29

@cherryblossomgin good luck! I'm sure it will work!

@starkid that's good - must feel so much better to feel action is being taken. Good luck and hope you get some answers. X

@Marleym28 yes to hold out to test. I tested 11 DPO BFN of course and I do think it's harder to see that one line more so than just AF coming. Not just in the moment but I feel like doing a test and it being negative affects me for longer.

Spotting 14DPO just waiting for AF and had a pregnancy dream last night which was lovely. Hard to wake up to reality. St least it's Friday. Good luck to all those still waiting. X

Marleym28 · 03/05/2019 10:14

@FlapJackered the last 4 or so months I've starting feeling sick just before I'm due on (and that's NOT to deflate you ) but more for help rationalise my mind set thinking a little more ' ok it could just be it happens at that time of the month' regardless to whether it is normal for me or actually PG symptoms.

This month I've really tried to talk any symptoms round eg. cramps - could be my ibs etc

Just because last month I felt so broken when i had what I thought were so many PH symptoms and then had a BFN. I even was late ... which I never am.
I must have just set my head in a spin.

It's hard, and I'm sure I'll de-rail in the next couple of days (lol) but I just had to do something this month for my mental state!

The cycle triplets can stick together and we'll get through this month :)
Hold out to test if you can xx

MrsH497 · 03/05/2019 10:07

My lovely ladies can I ask a really stupid question?!

So last period - 29/3/19 cycles well let's say average 30 days

No clue when I ovulated ran out of OPKs so winged it! Am I 5 weeks pregnant? I know that the digital tests are weeks since conception I just want to get it right in my head so I know what to tell my sergeant when I see her later

LokiCat · 03/05/2019 10:05

@MrsEG unfortunately not regularly enough! Once the day before I started testing and luckily once last night after I sent the message about DH being a bit distant.
Ah that sucks that you're getting a cold! I hope it's only a 24 hour thing and you get to enjoy the weekend!

Loving the strong lines @Fivebyfive2 @Tropicana1

@starkid glad the appointment was useful and hopefully you will start getting some answers soon!

On the early scan talk, I think I'd want to get one. I don't know if I'd be entitled to one on NHS as my mc was early. We had booked a private scan for 8 weeks and I think I'd do that again. DH wants us to wait till 12 weeks next time, but I'd just be so anxious the whole time, even more so after what happened I think!

FlapJackered · 03/05/2019 09:47

@MrsEG haha! It's so hard to turn off the irrational symptom spotter inside! 😂
I have just read this which has brought me back to reality.
www.avawomen.com/avaworld/early-signs-of-pregnancy/
I am sure the nausea is just progesterone rising! 🤦🏼‍♀️

@cherryblossomgin that sounds positive! When will you know if it has worked?

@Fivebyfive2 it's so much better to say in person though isn't it, so I am sure you're right to wait! So exciting!!

@starkid that is great news! Fingers crossed they all come back clear. 🤞🏻

MrsEG · 03/05/2019 09:22

@Fivebyfive2 I would do - they refer to it as a reassurance scan and I think it will really put your mind at ease too, that’s what I think anyway! It’s totally up to the individual of course. So just do whatever you feel comfortable with :)

@FlapJackered Ha, i’m FOUR DPO and had a squeeze of my boobs this morning to see if they were sore 😂 It’s so annoying isn’t it!! I’m so determined not to get hung up on it though; I’ve done all I can at this point, just need to wait and see!

@starkid That’s Great news! I hope you have some answers really soon :)

cherryblossomgin · 03/05/2019 09:20

@FlapJackered it is to get my ovaries to release an egg and start me ovulating, They are confident that they will get me to release an egg but I don't believe them lol.
