I'm going to wait now until Tuesday. This is so much harder!!!

McHelenz · 04/05/2019 19:50

Husband told me off for testing lol. He says he thinks it's negative.

MrsEG · 04/05/2019 19:48

@McHelenz Indents are colourless/grey - that is definitely a pink line!! Congrats!

@rose555 I’m only temping for the first time this month myself so I really don’t know - how long is your cycle usually (when is AF due)?

@FlapJackered Same! 5DPO and only going to test if late so feels like I’ve so many days ahead of me! Zero symptoms too but early days I guess. Going about life as normal though - I used to put life on hold during the TWW, wouldn’t run, go out to the pub, anything - pointless. Keeping myself super busy this time instead - it isn’t making the time go any faster but at least I’m distracted haha!

McHelenz · 04/05/2019 19:35

Took a test. Is this an indent. I'm shaking.

TTC First Baby - Thread 16!!
rose555 · 04/05/2019 19:31

Hi everyone.
I’ve had a funny day. I’m on CD25 and 9DPO. Woke up feeling like I had a cold coming on, and have had vivid dreams for the past 3 nights so haven’t felt very rested. I’ve had mild AF type pains and gentle backache all day, and have just been to the loo and found browny pink spotting in my knickers. Just a small amount. Such a big part of me wants to believe these are all positive signs, but my temp has continue to drop according to Ava for three days - so I am wondering if it’s just AF coming very early? She’s not due until Thursday - 5 days away. Anyone more experienced with temping have any idea whether a drop this big could mean anything other than AF arriving early? It’s my first month temping so I’m fairly clueless. Thanks in advance x

Getting period pains now, don't usually get them till period starts but wondering if its because Im trying to spot something? Done 2 cheapies and BFN :(. Due on Tues, think I'm going to wait now.

FlapJackered · 04/05/2019 19:09

@Fivebyfive2 due on Wednesday so I will try and hold off until Thursday I think if there is no temp drop. 😬 I have got all the symptoms I didn't have when I got my bfp before, so pretty sure it's not a good sign, but still in the hope zone!

Fivebyfive2 · 04/05/2019 18:31

@flapjackered, when are you due? Are you planning to hold off testing until you're late?? Xx

This TWW is dragging sooo much. 9dpo and it feels like it has been 9dpo for a week! 🙈

LikeTheFruit · 04/05/2019 11:55

@Tropicana1 seeing you lots of love and healing thoughts. Hope you're well on your way to recovery now and your little bean is ok ❤️❤️

cupcakesandglitter · 04/05/2019 11:08

Omg @Tropicana1 glad you've kept both ovaries but how bloody scary. Wishing you a super fast recovery and a sticky bean! Rest up as much as possible Xx

MrsEG · 04/05/2019 10:28

@Tropicana1 You poor thing, sounds like such an ordeal! FX for you and remember, a foetus is a resilient little thing. Please look after yourself and I hope the days go quickly before your scan!

Tropicana1 · 04/05/2019 10:07

Thanks ladies! It was pretty scary at the time, collapsed at work and had to get ambulanced into hospital. Feeling really lucky that I didn't lose an ovary, and that it wasn't an ectopic, just keeping my fingers crossed now that it's not all too much external stress on the baby. Thanks for all your kind words ❤️

Dollywilde · 04/05/2019 09:53

Oh gosh @tropicana1, that sounds so stressful. Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery and fx’d for the pregnancy x

KatBeCool · 04/05/2019 09:41

@Tropicana1 what an adventure, glad you're ok now. Good thing they don't just chop off ovaries and try their best to save them.

LokiCat · 04/05/2019 08:14

@Tropicana1 oh bless you, I hope you're okay! That must have been terrifying! I'm glad they didn't have to remove an ovary. Wishing you a very speedy recovery and I hope the early scan goes well ❤️ xxx

Lottiepink · 04/05/2019 08:10

@Tropicana1 thinking of you, that it so awful. Thank god your ok and hopefully you will recover very soon. Fingers crossed all will be well with the pregnancy x

Fivebyfive2 · 04/05/2019 07:53

@Tropicana1, oh my god! I hope you are OK and that the hospital are looking after you. It is great that they didn't need to remove the ovaries. I will keep absolutely everything crossed for you and you're little bean. Xxx

@tropicana1 what an ordeal!! And what a miracle your sticky bean is x

FlapJackered · 04/05/2019 07:30

@Tropicana1 Oh my god you poor thing! I had the same thing happen with suspected ectopic and emergency surgery and it was a really scary time on its own without the endo on top. That is great that they managed to save the ovaries as I have heard that is often not the case, and also amazing that you are pregnant despite it all. Will keep fingers crossed that the baby holds on tight but there is no reason to think it won't. ❤️

starkid · 04/05/2019 06:58

@Tropicana1 oh darling you poor thing, how scary for you!! FX for your little bean, and for a speedy recovery from your op. Good news your ovaries are both saved, but yes that must have been quite the scare! To think all that was happening inside you and you had no clue :(

MrsEG · 04/05/2019 05:56

Oh @Tropicana1 you poor thing! How are you feeling this morning? What a terrifying thing to have to go through. I’m so glad you haven’t had to lose an ovary. Keeping everything crossed for a speedy recovery, and that your little bean stays stuck in there xx Flowers

MrsH497 · 04/05/2019 04:59

OMG @Tropicana1 hope you are ok!! X

Tropicana1 · 04/05/2019 03:52

Had quite a time of it ladies - turns out the flu like symptoms were the start of something serious. Rushed to hospital today with severe abdominal pain, had to have emergency surgery. They were worried it was an ectopic but turns out I have severe endometriosis, she's amazed I manage to function when I'm on my period. I had abscesses cysts on both my ovaries which had ruptured and caused pus in the abdomen and peritonitis. She thought I might have to lose an ovary but I've managed to keep them both. She's amazed I got pregnant naturally and fast, and said if I'd have been seen pre pregnancy they would have said my chances were slim. She's advised an early scan at 6 weeks to make sure the baby is doing ok post op and likely to stay in hospital a few more days! Hoping the pregnancy survives the ordeal and is ok.

KatBeCool · 03/05/2019 21:28

@FlapJackered soy isoflavones simulate the ovaries similar to Clomid but not as effective. I'm obviously hoping you get preggo this cycle, but if not, since you're getting the referral, I wouldn't take soy again next cycle. This kind of stuff you can take no more than six cycles, and usually only three-hour before they switch to gonadotropin.
