@Keyboard91 I'm a boob squeezer too! Can't stop myself 😂😂

MrsEG · 23/04/2019 09:53

@MrsAW2018 Oh I’m so sorry. Please look after yourself, it’s not OTT to be devastated when AF arrives at all, I think we’ve all been there xx

@Keyboard91 So sorry to hear you’ve had such a terrible time recently. The very best of luck with trying again!

@KatBeCool Ive heard similar about OPKs, it’s why I use CB ones as when I see the flashing smileys we get cracking, as I know my surge is a few days away so like to get those sperms in there!! Plus the day of the solid smiley (positive OPK) I sometimes worth if I don’t get to DTD til the evening I may be too late so I feel a lot better if we’ve done it the day or so before too. It’s such a bloody minefield though, it really is.

I hope everyone had a lovely long weekend and didn’t find it too hard getting up this morning!!

Tropicana1 · 23/04/2019 09:35

@Keyboard91 so sorry to hear about your MC

@MrsAW2018 so sorry AF arrived, hope the break from here helps you ❤️

MrsAW2018 · 23/04/2019 09:08

Hi ladies. Sorry I haven't been able to reply individually but I have been with family these last couple of days and haven't had much chance to read the thread and it's moved so quickly and now the messages won't load on the app 😩but I just wanted to say thank you for all the encouragement and positive vibes for testing. I managed to hold off and was going to test today but AF arrived late last night and it's fair to say I'm absolutely devastated and have been crying ever since 💔 (which I'm aware is probably a bit OTT but I literally feel broken from TTC). So I might not be on here for a while but I'll be back soon. Good luck to all those who are due to test soon. Xxx

Keyboard91 · 23/04/2019 09:01

@Fivebyfive2 thank you for your message, sorry to see you’re still here. But fingers crossed this is our cycle(!) xx

@ValidUser thank you. I remember your username from before I think, sorry to see you’re still here xx

@Lola871 thank you. Sometimes you need to let your hair down and be ‘normal’ and enjoy life! Fingers crossed for you xx

@Dollywilde thank you - symptom spotting is the worst, I subconsciously squeeze my boobs to see if they ‘hurt’ even though I know when it’s PG related they hurt without a squeeze 😂 I’ve asked my DP to hide my ‘box’ with my tests in and he’s not allowed to give them to me until the day before my AF even if I beg! Xx

@starkid could I be cycle 5 as that’s how many cycles I’ve had minus 1 for The 1st PG. Hope you are well xx

@FlapJackered thank you, and sorry to read how much of a rotten time you’ve had since I left too. Sending hugs xx

@dahlia123 thank you, I think I remember your username from just before I left. I really hope that those are all signs that this is your month xx

Making the most of my last day off before term starts. 1 load on the line, a second in the machine and then I’m going to clean and do some work ... because maybe then I’ll stop over analysing every ache and twinge!!! DP is at work until 7 so I’m home alone all day! Xx

Tropicana1 · 23/04/2019 08:45

God I really should proof read - I meant said between 12 and 36 hours!

Tropicana1 · 23/04/2019 08:25

@KatBeCool I think I read something similar this weekend, which surprised me as most other things sat between 22-36hrs. I'm reading a good book at the moment on fertility and conception stuff which is really interesting. Also read an article that said temp can wait to go up as much as 3-5 days after ovulation whereas (with my very limited temping knowledge) I thought when temp went up that's when you had just ov'd that day

KatBeCool · 23/04/2019 00:22

@FlapJackered I hope we dtd in time, did it as soon as I got home. Opk was still positive in the morning today and later in the day. But I suspect it's about to fade away now.

So I read something interesting which I hope isn't true. It said that it's possible to have already ovulated when you see the positive opk because it may take a while for it show up on the opk. I really don't think that's the case ever.

dahlia123 · 22/04/2019 22:22

@Keyboard91 you've been through so much. What a tough few months.

@starkid Sorry to hear about AF, hope you get your answers.

@Dollywilde also symptom spotting like crazy. Had a headache a couple of days ago after the cramps ended.

Ava says I'm due on Thursday so hoping my boobs stay sore and my temps stay high. But usually my boobs stop hurting a couple of days before I start and is does feel like my right boob is less sore than yesterday. If someone had told me last year that I'd want my them to hurt I wouldn't have believed them!

FlapJackered · 22/04/2019 21:53

@Keyboard91 So sorry to hear about your mc. It is so heartbreaking so take all the time you need. ❤️

Thanks @Crossfitgirl sorry for the rant! Just had one of those days. ❤️

Thanks @KatBeCool When I questioned the doctors they said it is 2 years if you're under 35 to be referred to a fertility clinic, they did the bloods after (what they thought was) a year, and they have come back fine as far as they said. Although my gp is definitely not an expert in fertility so I do wonder if they were actually ok. 😕 I know I got pregnant which is positive but it does feel a bit like that was some miracle fluke and it just makes me even more desperate to get pregnant again.
Good tip re the Soy, I will make sure I mention it. I hope you're ok and managed to take advantage of the positive opk?

@ValidUser I know right! Apparently for under 35 it's two years. I am going to make a scene at my next appointment 🤞🏻

Thanks @LokiCat that is reassuring. It's just so hard waiting for ovulation and it pushing the cycle back and back.🙈

starkid · 22/04/2019 21:51

@Keyboard91 - poor you, what a rollercoaster! What cycle number would you like me to put down on the stats list, if you'd like to be added next time?

Dollywilde · 22/04/2019 21:23

@keyboard91 so sorry to hear what you’ve been through.

Symptom spotting through the roof for me today - tender nipples (tmi - to the extent I batted DH off them this morning), mood swings and very light cramps at 9dpo, 5 days before AF due.

DH and I have promised to not test until Sunday. Have my birthday to distract me at least!

Hope everyone has had their last boozy bank hol for a while Wink 🤞🏻

Lola871 · 22/04/2019 20:48

@Keyboard91 sorry to hear your sad news.

I've enjoyed the bank holiday, lots of drinking! Planning to have a few weeks off drinking now (mostly so I can lose a few lbs!) And obv if I get a BFP I'll be off it for a bit longer anyway, so might as well get some practice in!

ValidUser · 22/04/2019 20:34

@Keyboard91 sorry to hear what a rough ride it's been. You're always welcome! ❤️

Fivebyfive2 · 22/04/2019 20:12

Hi @keyboard91!! I remember you from before, so sorry to hear you also suffered a cp after your first mc. I'm glad you decided to come back on here though, it really helps having the community spirit!! I'm 2 dpo so we can do the tww together xxx

Hi everyone.

I’m hoping you will allow me back into this group.

I was active Dec-Jan and got a bfp and ‘graduated’ to the PG thread. Unfortunately I lost the baby at 6 weeks. I got a bfp in my next full cycle but it turned out to be a CP :(

This group were always so supportive (I’m really sad to see some familiar names) so 🤞you’ll have me back.

@starkid sorry to hear AF arrived! I hope the drs are helpful and you can get some answers ❤️

@Fivebyfive2 wish I was in your office, it all sounds so good!! I might bake something for the office tomorrow as well, now 🤔

@FlapJackered I was diagnosed with PCOS the day after I got my BFP (I'd booked the ultrasound before and thought I might as well go to it). My cycles are always all over the place. My ovulation sticks were continuously light then slightly dark and then light again on the cycle I had my BFP on. I then suddenly got a very dark positive one (I'm sure the times I was checking on didn't help)! I usually don't get a positive OPK until later on in the cycle. If you suspect PCOS maybe that could have something to do with it.. (I've attached a photo from Glow of my cycle).

On CD8 today, Glow predicts my FW to start next Tuesday, but I'm sure it'll be pushed. Will probably start testing on OPKs from next Monday just to be sure!

Hope you've all had a nice bank holiday weekend! Slightly dreading work tomorrow after having this nice long break 🙈🙈

Jessikka · 22/04/2019 17:30

Happy Bank Holiday Everyone! 🍺

Hope your weekend was nice! Coming into the final few days of the cycle now I think. My cycles ranged from 27-25-23 to 26 last month so she could arrive anytime between now and Sunday I suppose!

Fingers crossed she doesn't arrive though. No symptoms to report this month. The off little bit of cramping but nothing major and not as much as other months thank god!

Though I've been so busy this weekend I may have just not been sat around noticing!

Hey ho! let's see what this week brings ☺️

starkid · 22/04/2019 17:01

Thanks everyone, it really means a lot :)

@ValidUser - yeah this is how I feel, I kind of want someone ti finally say 'ah yes, this is why it's taking a while, and here's what we can do to help'. Would almost prefer that, then them not finding anything wrong and having to just plod along cluelessly... argh, I don't know. I guess will find out soon enough!

Tropicana1 · 22/04/2019 16:29

@starkid sorry to hear AF arrived, it glad you can hopefully get this moving with the doctors now

MrsEG · 22/04/2019 16:02

@Tropicana1 I hope so! I’ve had two weird cycles since my MMC so I’m hoping I’ve given myself enough time to get back to normal again.

@Fivebyfive2 All I have done this bank holiday is eat! We come from a family of feeders!! Dragged myself to the gym this morning... and then came home and had cake leftovers for lunch 🙊

@starkid So sorry hun and really hope the doctors are good with you, we’re always here anytime you need to vent!

@coconutcurls Welcome! Enjoy your TTC journey :)

1990shopefulftm · 22/04/2019 15:58

@starkid thank you for the welcome.

ValidUser · 22/04/2019 15:55

@starkid it was actually a relief to find out my insides were a mess. Meant we could do something about it. Hope you get seen soon and it's all good or at least easily fixed. X

Fivebyfive2 · 22/04/2019 15:48

@Starkid, I'm sorry to hear af arrived xx Hope your Dr is helpful when you call up, let us know how you get on.

I've done some baking today, got some white chocolate chip bars and some gooey caramel chocolate chip cake/bar thingies! Something for the office tomorrow. Also went to the shops, got some dental stuff for my cat (obviously?!) and 2 discounted easter eggs, because apparently there is no such thing as too much chocolate at the moment!!

OP posts:
starkid · 22/04/2019 15:42

@Tropicana1 - thanks, but looks like I properly am on af now :(

Will be ringing the docs this week as I came off contraception in May, so now finally time to get seen! Pretty much knew it would come to this since finding out my past surgeries will have likely hampered with my insides, but feels a bit surreal for it to finally be happening - fingers crossed it isn't a long drawn out process!

Good luck to everyone in their TWW at the mo xx
