Hello!
I know there are a few threads on this already but can’t find any recent ones.
There’s a theory that your resting heart rate goes up before you can get a bfp so a sudden spike/increase could be indicative of an upcoming bfp.
I’ve been tracking mine for months and have noticed that both times I was pregnant (both unsuccessful) this was true re heart rate.

For reference, it seems that a lot of people have a dip before ovulation followed by a spike around ovulation then it drops a bit and starts to climb a little, dropping again when af arrives. If it keeps climbing, it’s usually a good sign.

I think I’m out this month as mine is dropping steadily but I’ve had a weird cycle and am
Not sure I ovulated because I got multiple
Positive opks spread out over two weeks and didn’t see a heart rate spike as usual. I apparently ovulated around 23-27 (big window due to confusing tests) and AF is due in 4 days so I would normally see my heart rate climbing at this point - who knows what’s going on!

Anyone else symptom spotting and got a Fitbit so can share their heart rate chart?

That looks like a definite spike from ovulation @mommato3. My main spike was on the 7th where it jumped by 2 beats, and i also had a pain at the top on my thigh. (I've had that once before) so i think it was then? My app reckons I was due to ovulate on the 10th (which is only guess work) so I'm guessing 15dpo perhaps?

mommato3 · 22/06/2019 20:31

@Bloodylegoeverywhere What dpo are you?

mommato3 · 22/06/2019 20:23

Mine altered the other day. Went from 67 to 66 but today it's 69. Completely different to last month but only 1DPO....

I'd assume by now I'd have at least a shadow on that test or a squinter. Wink

Treaclepie19 · 22/06/2019 16:22

@Bloodylegoeverywhere gah! Fingers crossed it's just too early!

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 22/06/2019 16:11

Mine went up by one again. It's making another m shape, I had this back in jan or December. It can still drop dramatically from tmrw onwards. Wink

Treaclepie19 · 22/06/2019 13:08

@Bloodylegoeverywhere exactly the same as yesterday!
How about you?

coconutlatte44 · 22/06/2019 13:04

Good luck all, have my fingers crossed for you!

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 22/06/2019 12:58

Hows your rhr today @treaclepie19?

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 21/06/2019 20:14

I'm not going to get any sticks, will wait for my temp to go up or down over the next few days etc. I did have 6 cheapies and used then all (idiot) when now would be more useful to pee on in the hopes for a line Hmm no cramps so far today, actually scrap that. I have just had a slight stinging pain on my right side. Hopefully not appendicitis BlushGrin I have been comparing my rhr charts from Jan till today. This month is the only good rise I have had.

mommato3 · 21/06/2019 16:00

Thank you @Bloodylegoeverywhere and @Treaclepie19
Just hoping there's a better chance for us this month as we've managed to be really active through all the fertile week 🤞

Treaclepie19 · 21/06/2019 13:01

Ohh good luck @mommato3!

@Bloodylegoeverywhere I'm going to test tuesday. I've convinced myself I'm going to have a longer cycle and then will get a bfn tuesday and no period too 🙈

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 21/06/2019 12:17

Good luck @mommtlato3 let us know. I have such a varied result to my rhr.
Oooh well its 50/ 50 GrinGrin but wonder if we will get the same result... when are you testing. I had niggling cramps last night but that can mean anything!?

Treaclepie19 · 21/06/2019 12:01

@Bloodylegoeverywhere Shock Ohhh what does it all mean?!
🤞

mommato3 · 21/06/2019 11:34

Mines quite interesting this month....O day last month it was 65 this month today is O and it's already at 67 🤷‍♀️ April it was 65 on day of O. I know it's way too early to know anything but makes me kinda wonder if my body's willing to accept a change 😂

Watch this space!!!! Haha

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 21/06/2019 10:17

That is exactly the same as mine... let me get a picture. Shock

Treaclepie19 · 21/06/2019 08:07

About the same. It keeps doing little dips then back up.
The highlighted one was the start of my period.
Not long left to go now for either of us! (Still feels ages)

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 21/06/2019 06:30

Morning, mine is the same as yesterday. No rise or drop. How about you @treaclepie19

Treaclepie19 · 20/06/2019 09:49

Congratulations @coconutlatte44 :)

Mine dropped by 2 today... AF isn't due until Tuesday.

Bloodylegoeverywhere · 20/06/2019 07:41

As you say, you can never tell re rhr, congratulations @coconutLatte44! Mine dropped by one today

coconutlatte44 · 19/06/2019 18:05

Good luck to both of you!

My rhr has been consistently going down since a few weeks after conception, wish I had taken my Fitbit off so I didn't have another thing to think about! But despite the drop had a strong heartbeat on scan on Friday (around the time circled) so just sharing this to remind us it's not a perfect science!
