It looks like an evap, although it did come up within the time frame. Or maybe I’m just seeing things! I plan to test again at the weekend if no af.

@FirstTimeMama91 - I know it's tough but I'd be inclined to wait until you get a negative pregnancy test. But that's just me. Not talking with any medical expertise!

FirstTimeMama91 · 17/04/2019 14:34

Did a clear blue digital test this morning.. still positive says 1-2 weeks so must still have hcg since mc 12 days ago.. We're going to dtd anyway this week as I think it's my fertile week. Anybody got similar experience?

FirstTimeMama91 · 17/04/2019 14:32

That's great news @Newbie21 she sounds lovely x

FirstTimeMama91 · 17/04/2019 14:31

@Bluebelltulip oh no. See how you feel pet. But I think I would just stay and dtd during fertile window. Totally depends on how stressed you are though x

Bluebelltulip · 17/04/2019 11:21

So glad you had a good appointment @Newbie21.

I'm in a dilemma today, having bathroom extended and redone. I hate mess and find it really stressful but if I escape to my mum's we will likely miss my fertile window this month.

Newbie21 · 17/04/2019 11:10

Hi ladies, update from me - I had a really good appointment with the nurse today - she was so understanding and helpful. She said my CP counted as an MC so since I had 3 MCs last year I was entitled to a referral so I'm to have blood tests and scans. I have private healthcare through work but it doesn't cover fertility but she said it should cover gynecology so she is writing a letter which will allow me to have scans and tests privately to speed things along but also putting me in the NHS system. Naturally I burst out crying at the relief of someone listening to me and giving me a path forward. She then asked if I wanted to hear a happy story and then told me how she is 49 and last year she gave birth to twins (it was her second IVF round) so I was to stay positive and to relax as much as I can and it will happen. So I'm feeling very relieved and blessed today that I met such a lovely lady. Fingers crossed that things progress and that my positive thinking stays and helps me on this journey.

I hope that story gives you all a bit of hope too xx

Hi all!

Amazing news @Russkispy! Everything crossed for your scan and sending positive thoughts!

@Indreamland – keeping fingers crossed for you too! Agree that seeing that white space is even worse than AF arriving, so well done for holding out!

@Mistymeow I’m getting prematurely excited for you! On a serious note, we wait so long to see a bloody line and when we get one I find it opens a whole new set of worries.

@Frillyfarmer – have you tested yet?!

I am a bit better than the past few weeks. I had a long talk with DH about how I feel weird after tube removal and just how the whole thing has left me feeling very frightened and generally not ‘in the mood’ to TTC, although I still desperately want a second child. He was very helpful and supportive. We even managed to DTD a few times over my fertile week (if my calculations are correct –it’s only the second cycle after the ectopic so I am also worried my cycle might still be out of whack). Anyway, I didn’t use OPKs and I have never temped, so I don’t think we will have caught it this month but I am still descending into TWW madness! Veering from wildly optimistic to convinced that I will never have another child… I am also so scared of actually being pregnant and it being ectopic again or having another MC…such a rollercoaster.

I can’t remember if anyone here has had an ectopic? If so, did you have pains around ovulation? I have felt really sore on the left side (where the tube was removed) for the past week. And had a couple of stabby pains. Have read that women can often feel ovulation after ectopic surgery?? But also that the site of the pregnancy can feel sore due to adhesions etc. Its stirred up a lot of emotions and made me feel quite sad. I don’t want to have to feel that every month in addition to the rest of the worries and emotions!

I am sorry to everyone I have missed and that I don’t ever keep up properly. I am thinking of you all xxx

Yukka · 17/04/2019 09:39

@russkispy lovely to read your update fingers crossed for next scan. If you need any extra support during this phase just PM me, it’s quite a difficult thing to be pregnant after mcs xxx

@laney79 what did you decide on the end re fertility week? It’s a difficult one. I’d prob be tempted to crack on with IVF as that can take time also. Can you ttc whilst going through ivf from a medical perspective? Appreciating pressure on DH.

I’m all good here, still pregnant... 25.3 now. Lots of movements and starting to prep at home. Bloods and growth scans are good, they will decide at 28w if I should go back on heparin till 36w. Still on daily aspirin, got diabetes test next week as urine sugars are high. Otherwise I’m feeling good and treatment for APS so far successful. Here’s hoping xxx

Sorry to see new joiners and those having a rough time. Stay as positive as you can, we all have our own journeys but the odds remain in your favour for successful pregnancy xxx

Mistymeow · 17/04/2019 09:33

Oh lord now I think I can see a faint line on the frer. If this is a chemical I really don’t want to know. I’m not going to test again unless af doesn’t show by the weekend.

Mistymeow · 17/04/2019 08:31

@venustarr really sorry you had a bad day. It sounds like your work are taking good care of you. How are you doing today?
@newbie21 that does sound very frustrating but it’s good you are seeing the nurse. Hope everything settles soon.
@flapjackered sorry for your loss. Cycles can go a bit wacky after a miscarriage (sometimes when you are later in the first trimester it can take a while for the hormones to settle). I hope you are doing ok.
@russkispy that’s really great news, so pleased for you. Everything crossed for your next scan!
@indreamland well done for resisting! I would wait until the weekend if you can.
@littlelea welcome to the group. So sorry to hear of your losses. It must be a very difficult time for you waiting for test results and to say goodbye to your little one. There are a couple of ladies here who had later losses whom I am sure can provide support. Sending lots of love.

I took a frer and bfn. I’m not too disappointed because I feel nervous about a new pregnancy. But I wish af would turn up now (first since erpc). I had extreme cramps on Sunday but nothing. Tiny amount of spotting yesterday. I know I ovulated (confirmed by temps) but at 15 dpo I expected a period by now. Last time I had an erpc I got af 4 weeks later. Hoping af will arrive today (just in time for my long weekend away, joy!).

Littlelea · 16/04/2019 23:59

Hi, hope it's okay i join? Currently having a furious day following recent mc and trying to let go somehow. Im 33 with a 2 yr old and been ttc since june last year. 2 mc at 5weeks and then my 3rd at 22 weeks. Waiting impatiently for apt with test results etc. Trying to arrange a proper goodbye has me confused and beyond irritated...

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 23:33

Thanks @moonpeace. Of course I'm symptom spotting like mad now. Feeling nauseous and light headed on the tube, pulling and fluttering in the lower abdomen, are my boobs really feeling a little tender? Thing is knowing what I know from the recent tests it's very very unlikely I'm pregnant and even if I was then it's very likely we'd be looking at mc #3.

Well after a 5 hour hold I resisted the temptation to POAS. No point in testing early as I only end up disappointed and annoyed with myself for pissing away money 🚽. Forget burning money on bonfire night! 🔥🎆

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 22:35

The antibiotics were prescribed by DH's private urologist rather than our GP. Given we've both got to take them and lively we've had it for years a few days won't hurt to wait until AF shows. I have 5 FRERs and a CB digital in a drawer!

Frillyfarmer · 16/04/2019 22:18

In that case could you call your GP to discuss taking them whilst TTC, just so you're not leaving the infection untreated? If I had a FRER I'd be so tempted tomorrow at 10DPO but they're arriving by prime on Thursday because I know how weak willed I am 😂

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 22:04

@Frillyfarmer they're to treat a definite infection. It's symptom-less but detected in DH's tests. Hopefully you can be distracted enough. So tempted to do a FRER now.

Frillyfarmer · 16/04/2019 21:46

@InDreamland are they precautionary rather than to treat a definite infection? Definitely wait for AF but I'd test at the weekend as well. I'm trying my hardest to hold out until Friday, luckily early start tomorrow and two ridiculously busy days in the office ahead of me so fingers crossed I can distract myself!

InDreamland · 16/04/2019 21:14

Surrey you find yourself here @FlapJackered. The ladies here are very supportive.

@Frillyfarmer I'm tempted to test because we've both been given antibiotics by the urologist following our appointment today and of course shouldn't take if pregnant. DH said though to just wait until the weekend for AF to arrive so we're 100% sure I'm not pregnant. I'm trying to resist the FRER until Saturday. Maybe Sunday.

@Russkispy that's lovely news. Fx for the next 33 weeks!

@moonpeace this could be your month. Fx you get a BFP.

@Lilimum6 hopefully it is just unlucky timing. Tell him that DTD could help as a painkiller - pure ecstasy.

Hmmmm, I really want to POAS!

FlapJackered · 16/04/2019 20:13

Thank you for your lovely messages @Newbie21 @Lilimum6
@Newbie21 thanks, fingers crossed it's not too messed up! Clearblue digital opks are on special offer on amazon so I have stocked up but hopefully I won't need them all. 🤞🏻

Newbie21 · 16/04/2019 19:32

@FlapJackered sorry for your loss. It is difficult when others around you fall pregnant and would be due around the same time. Each woman is different after an MC but I would say I had a few months of slightly longer cycles and then a cycle when I didn't ovulate then it all regulated after that so about 2-3 months. I should also say that my cycles have been a little different ever since with spotting before AF but this might just be coincidence. I hope you don't have a long wait. Try and stay positive. This is a very supportive group. I'm not always the most responsive on this group but I do check in regularly and find a lot of comfort from the ladies here and the helpful advice and just knowing I can vent when I feel a bit rubbish knowing this group understand.

Newbie21 · 16/04/2019 19:26

Lovely news @Russkispy fingers crossed that you have an uneventful and healthy pregnancy.

Lilimum6 · 16/04/2019 16:18

@FlapJackered welcome and sorry for your loss x I hope you find support and friendship from this group. I couldn't handle it without these wonderful ladies x x

Lilimum6 · 16/04/2019 16:14

@Russkispy that's wonderful news hun xx
Fingers crossed the next 32 weeks are just as wonderful and healthy xx
