Morning everyone 😣 6DPO here and I've woken up with very mild cramping, exactly what I get during af.

Hopefulprincess · 23/03/2019 23:27

@mrsawhite that’s a great sign at ovulation it’s a good burst of an egg 😊 some get it some don’t but it is normal as long as it’s just spotting
Welcome @rob and @Mrsm
Mrsm I had them exact things at that dpo last month! Fx it’s good news for you 💖
Nothing to report really today from me just feel normal and had a good lay in which was lovely , just sitting waiting to test Thursday , hope your all having a good weekend @kisk enjoy the g&t to this day I’v still never tried that 🙈 I no I no shocking

@mrsawhite yay it worked happy bding 😁
@lauren I agree think many of us learnt in last month how bad evaps are now , I no they say blue dye are bad for it but they shouldn’t allow such terrible indents

Hello @mrsm18 and @Robbo93 - hope you find this a nice place to thumb twiddle and find some friendly folks to wait with. We’re all at different stages but I think a few are in a similar spot at the moment!

@lauren - was just checking in after your symptom fun of yesterday, wondered how things were feeling today? Totally agreed on CBs

Think I’m on last day of Mc/AF having some alcohol this weekend to celebrate her departure. Had forgotten how much I liked G&Ts.

@jelizabethnewby how are you doing? Not heard from you in a while lovely x

MrsM18 · 23/03/2019 21:18

Hi ladies. I hope you don't mind me popping by! I'm currently on my 2WW. 5DPO - feeling a constant dull ache in my lower stomach & back, occasional sharp pain in my side. Unsure if it's completely unrelated - I had a very light streak of pinky blood yesterday but seeing as I was only 4DPO surely this its too early for symptoms??

Laurenmclovely · 23/03/2019 19:38

Hi welcome:) yes everyone is welcome here. Tbh symptoms don't even start for some women until the 4 or 5 week mark so you still have time

Robbo93 · 23/03/2019 19:21

Hi ladies, can I join?
I think I've just entered the 2ww going by my clearblue smiley face on Thursday, potential ovulation Friday? Had no real symptoms to be honest and no change in CM throughout?

I stopped my pill in January, had first bleed 5 weeks later, second bleed 26 days later (beginning of match) then had first positive OPK on CD20 xx

mrsawhite · 23/03/2019 17:48

That would be the kind of thing I would get confused about!

Does anyone else get spotting around ovulation. Have just started. It's annoying, and I'm not sure how normal it is! I never used to!

Laurenmclovely · 23/03/2019 15:49

I'm absolutely fine the point I'm trying to make is someone who doesn't know a lot about pg tests could get confused and heartbroken by that. No need for the attitude is there really @mydc.

Kiskacsa · 23/03/2019 15:29

Ps hope you’re doing ok @laurenmclovely

Kiskacsa · 23/03/2019 15:28

Blue dyes tend to have worse (ie coloured) evaps - wouldn’t touch another CB non-digital (especially given how expensive they are!). Easier said than done to not look back.

MyDcAreMarvel · 23/03/2019 14:28

Not really a line after the time is irrelevant.

Laurenmclovely · 23/03/2019 14:27

I know that but what I'm saying is surely they should rethink the design? I know plenty of women who've been victim to this

MyDcAreMarvel · 23/03/2019 14:24

Lauren that’s an evap they only valid for 10-30 mins so it’s not really a flaw.

Just wanted to warn everyone about clearblue easy tests. Took one last night and it was negative but it was still drying an hour later. Looked at it this morning in my drawer with the intention of throwing it away and there is another line! Don't understand how these tests can still be sold with a flaw like that

Kiskacsa · 23/03/2019 13:02

😀

mrsawhite · 23/03/2019 13:00

Hurrah. Thank you ladies!

2ww part 2
Kiskacsa · 23/03/2019 11:56

Should be same principles @mrsawhite - your urine builds up LH most in the afternoon, so any concentration will be highest then

mrsawhite · 23/03/2019 10:51

Well there you go. Learn something new everyday. Just to clarify though. I'm using clear blue ovulation kit. But not the one I had before which would give me flashy faces etc and then a fixed smiley. This kit just tells me when I've had a surge. So still afternoon testing?

Hopefulprincess · 23/03/2019 02:33

Hello 👋 I’m so glad you all found the thread :)
Hopefully keep finds us too
@kisk you are so right I don’t no why I kid myself it’s just sometimes get normal cycles then think yay I’m normal 😂
@mrsawhite defo afternoon not fmu on opk
@coast hello lovely 😊 glad to see you are ok and yay fertile window! Every 2 days is recommended but it’s up to you I try every day but then I’m greedy 😛😂
Welcome @pome I hope you get your bfp 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@lauren how exciting!!!!!!! That’l be so lovely 😃
@chloe errrrm I think Thursday at predicted 9dpo il start testing because well I love poas and I’m impatient but that’s an improvement from last month 😂 and I hope you can get bfp to share with your mum 💞

Well today has been strange.... soooo tired, moody, tingly boobs, pain in right ovary, gassy I’m never normally gassy! If I have hiccups one more time il go mad oh wait it’s 2.30am I’m awake with hiccups and heartburn 😱 I neeeeeever ever get heartburn last time I did was 27 weeks preggers with my dd 9 years ago 😂 so that’s my moan haha I no it’s too early for symptoms but it’s out of character so thought I’d share with you 💖

Coastaldreamer · 23/03/2019 00:51

Thanks @Kiskacsa it's only cycle 2 for us so no idea on his sperm count but maybe we'll stick to every other day unless as you say it doesn't feel forced.. don't want him feeling used 😏

Kiskacsa · 23/03/2019 00:15

@coastaldreamer - as often as doesn’t feel too forced/unfun? Note that if your OH has a low sperm count then every day may be excessive but if he hasn’t tested then do whatever works www.avawomen.com/avaworld/how-often-should-you-have-sex-to-get-pregnant/

Coastaldreamer · 23/03/2019 00:05

@Kiskacsa thanks! Didn't know we moved 😬
I know how you feel you're not being spiteful you just wish you could also be pregnant!

Just pasting from the other thread:
Am on CD16 and saw EWCM today... have dtd today but how many days in a row should we carry on, or should we stick to every other day?

Hope we all get our BPFs this time. I find it strangely comforting knowing we keep each other lifted in these threads despite being strangers and talking about such intimate things. Keeps me from going insane :) x

Kiskacsa · 22/03/2019 23:16

@pomegranat3 welcome :-) we’re at all stages here thanks to some mixed cycle lengths last month - think you’re ahead of most of us. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

@mrsawhite definitely afternoons - most packs tell you specifically not to use fmu

@coastaldreamer we’re over here now :-) I’m doing ok, the drop of hormones has helped me chill back out a bit, just grumpy listening to my sister in law whinge about pregnancy. (I know, I know, I should be more tolerant, I’m being very nice and sympathetic in person).

@lauren sounds amazing!!! Depending when mine is, we’ll likely either be at my parents’ (boo - quiet dtd) or Paris (😍)

@ChloePD fingers crossed if you decide to test tomorrow. Just make sure you do with an open mind - a negative doesn’t mean anything yet xx
