He is 2! Can’t remember if I said above but I got preeclampsia so he came very small at 34 weeks, but he’s doing well now. A lovely affectionate little man, just struggling a bit on speech but otherwise delightful :-)

Hopefulprincess · 09/02/2022 14:52

I should add he was born by emergency section at 37 weeks :) your little one must be 2 now @Kiskacsa?

@Kiskacsa @Hopefulprincess
Hello! Hope you guys are well! Little ones doing ok?

We're back on the TTC rollercoaster for #2 as DD now 19 months!

Just wanted to check in and see how you guys were xx

rosiepicks · 01/05/2020 17:53

Has anyone heard of ladies getting their BFP after 14dpo?

rosiepicks · 01/05/2020 17:14

@Kiskacsa will try, thank you. LP is normally 14 days and no sign of anything occurring today!

Kiskacsa · 01/05/2020 09:29

Hang on in there @rosiepicks - wait a couple of days (if you can) and try again. Temps are still high.

@Coastaldreamer yay for 38 weeks! Hope that you manage to have a nice straightforward birth so you can get home quick, and that we aren’t locked down much longer.

Rob and I are doing well. It’s tiring but lovely. Just wish he could see more of his grandparents!

rosiepicks · 01/05/2020 07:55

Could anyone give me advice on my bbt chart? Ovulation confirmed via bloods. Came back at 21 at doctor said anything above 16 confirms ovulation.
I'm currently 14dpo. Bfn on frer with fmu. GUTTED!
Last months chart I declined at 11dpo and AF showed her face at 14dpo. My temps are the highest they've ever been this morning. Any advice?

How's you getting on with your bubba ?

Kiskacsa · 26/04/2020 22:40

Hello ladies! Hope lockdown pregnancies are going ok? Where are you guys up to?

Hopefulprincess · 24/02/2020 13:03

@Coastaldreamer we’re really close! I’m 30+2 but he’s coming the week of 37weeks I havnt got a date yet and he’s still nameless!
Feel you on the heavy bit, this has by far been most difficult pregnancy! Spd is killing Iv not had the bloom yet, have had transfusion as aneamia so bad but he’s doing well! Here’s a scan from exactly 2 weeks ago of him swearing 🙈 he’s 3/5 engaged and has been 4 weeks so it was difficult to get a good image,
Been thinking of you ladies so glad your ok

@Coastaldreamer I was in hospital for 10 days before he was born (I was nearly discharged then his umbilical doppler showed he was safer out than in) then he was in NICU briefly then SCBU for nearly 3 weeks - I went in on New Year’s Eve and we escaped on the 29th. Can’t believe he’s 6 weeks old now!

Hope you’re cooking well! Time does start to drag but try to enjoy it - I mourned the 6 weeks I didn’t get!

Coastaldreamer · 24/02/2020 11:29

Congratulations @Kiskacsa on the safe arrival of your boy!! Sorry to hear you suffered with preeclampsia- I keep hearing so many people having this! Did they have to keep you in HDU?

How's life with a newborn etc ?

I am now 28.5 weeks...! Time is in that dragging stage, starting to get heavy and slow in my movements 😂 but all is well with myself and baby so I can't complain

Hope you're also doing well @Hopefulprincess

Kiskacsa · 21/02/2020 08:48

How is everyone?

My munchkin was born 6 weeks early after I developed preeclampsia- he was 6 weeks old yesterday. Time flies! January was one long hospital stay but we’ve now been home as long as he was in NICU.

Hope all is well with you @Hopefulprincess, @Coastaldreamer?

Coastaldreamer · 05/12/2019 12:50

@Kiskacsa you're almost there... kinda!

Have you already got what you need for when baby is here? We're not getting anything till next year but talking about whether we want the next to me cot thing etc...

I'm finally out of the sickness stage, it was still persistent in the mornings now and then but hopefully it's all gone

I'm 17 weeks today, had my check up yday and heard the heartbeat 💓... bets are on a girl from the midwife!

Can't wait for my next scan which is in 2 weeks today 🥰

X

Kiskacsa · 03/12/2019 16:17

@Coastaldreamer becoming ever more whale like. In 3rd trimester now - 29 weeks yesterday - and feeling very tired again! The heartburn is also extremely tedious. How are things with you, how far along are you at this stage?

Coastaldreamer · 03/12/2019 16:08

@Hopefulprincess @Kiskacsa how are we ladies?

Did the scan go well @Hopefulprincess ?

@Kiskacsa you must be huge now?!

X

Hopefulprincess · 12/11/2019 10:57

@Kiskacsa lovely name!!!!
@Coastaldreamer cute pics!! Oooo this is exciting 🥰
Only 3 days till my next scan il post pics if all is good :) I can feel little kicks but not often they are like bubbles popping but then it’s my 4th. I wish they were more frequent I’d worry less but can’t choose these things haha. We should have a WhatsApp group so easier to keep in contact 💖

@Coastaldreamer - very cute!!

I have an anterior placenta too - which means kicks to the “tummy” are muffled by the placenta. I didn’t feel anything convincing til 22 weeks or so - first baby plus some excess weight plus placenta delayed it a bit. Initially I couldn’t be sure it wasn’t just gas. I felt blob mostly at night - where he will often kick very low or on “side” - I’d say a 10o clock or 2 o clock from my belly button rather than all the way round. Now he’s an active little chap - either placenta has moved, or he’s kicking harder now.

Coastaldreamer · 11/11/2019 14:50

@Kiskacsa aw you are doing so well! What do the kicks feel like? The midwife told me my placenta is covering baby like a duvet so I'll feel the first ones on the sides!

@Hopefulprincess hope you're getting on ok after the hospital stay. It's good they are keeping a close eye on you.

Attached some pics of little bubba. I love the second one, baby is clearly chilling with hands behind the head 😅. Already so in love 🥰

Kiskacsa · 11/11/2019 14:25

@hopefulprincess that all sounds very stressful! Fingers crossed that everything keeps going well and the sickness lifts for you soon!

It is Robert :-) it’s my DH’s middle name but we both like it :-)

Hopefulprincess · 11/11/2019 14:22

This one was 2 weeks before , looking at me and lots of fluid !

Am back this Friday to have another check up . Have been drinking loads and strict rest , here is baby with what fluid is left . I think it’s a boy xx
