APRIL BUS ♡

I seem to keep seeing people get pregnant 'accidently'. How is it that those of us who really want babies, who actually try, it takes months, even years of planning.

That's horrible when that happens. This site is great, there's been 9 babies born in our families between us since we started TTC. I'm but obviously can't say that to anyone in rl.

It is so hard when people close to you announce their pregnancies especially when you have been trying. That happened to me this month, my friend from work announced her pregnancy and only took her one month (and she just come off the pill too), whereas we have been trying a bit longer and I haven't been on the pill for years....this site is such a relief as allows us to chat, vent and rejoice :) It is such a good support to have everyone here to ask questions and advice too

@Mikeyjayne2018 I feel the same, it's hard to not tell people as i'm excited to become a Mam but don't want the questions all the time. I've found it hard to not speak to my own Mam about it, I tell her everything! My best friend & sister in law are both having babies this year, really excited for them both but I would like it to be my turn soon. Finding this a great place to release/vent frustration and know i'm not the only one feeling like I am

Clomid cycle: 2
TTC cycle: lost count a long time ago

Cycles went out the window some time ago, but I took a round of depo to bring on a cycle to take clomid and a second period showed up 28 days later.

I had an US scan last Wednesday and was told I'd ovulate within 24hrs if it was going to happen. I believe it did, on Thursday, based on pelvic pain and CM. I'm due to go back for the 21 day blood test on Friday to see if I did ovulate.

We DTD on Su/Mo/Tu/Wed/Th/Sat. Used pre-seed on Wed. I've also been taking Inofolic for a few months now.

Hopefully this is our month! Fingers crossed for everyone.

I love the baby dust comment 😍 🤞 it's so lovely to be around people who are TTC, since my mc my two best friends have announced pregnancies which were completely unexpected and out of the blue. I feel so distant from them even just to talk to them it's made everything so awkward between us all 🙄 I don't want them to know we're trying so this thread is great for talking ! 😊

I'm glad i'm not the only person that spends a fortune every month on tests, my DH wouldn't believe me if I told him the full amount i don't think! I've never tried the FRER, do people recommend these?

@Queenofmyownheart my dp would kill me if he knew i was even taking tests every day 😂 he said he wants to be there when I do but I can't help taking them 🙄 it's his birthday on Tuesday I so want to be able to surprise him. ❣️

@Queenofmyownheart That happened to me once and like you I was second guessing myself! Definitely take another test and see what happens. I decided to buy the digital ones so actually says pregnant/not pregnant instead of over analysing my line! What are your thoughts on the digital ones?

@BudgieBird deep down I know that, we all just need that glimmer of hope though, it's the closest I've seen to a BFP in so long 😂

@Mikeyjayne2018 super expensive 🤦🏼‍♀️ actually think my DP would kill me if he knew how much I spend on tests 😂😂

@Queenofmyownheart they're so expensive too the clear blue's 🙄 it's so easy to get obsessed isn't it. I feel pregnant again and after only being pregnant weeks ago I feel the same again. But not sure If I'm just willing it to be. I'm crossing everything for us 😊 🤞

@Queenofmyownheart I'm afraid that a line on a test that was sitting out overnight doesn't mean anything, unless that line appeared in the 10 minutes after you peed on it. Wait two days and test again. That will give your body more time to build up hormone levels and you will avoid second-guessing yourself. Best of luck!

@Mikeyjayne2018 ooh good luck to you! I'm so cross at myself for wasting my FRERs far too early. Can't buy them anywhere in my town 🙄 have to try a clearblue I suppose. Typical it's bloody rubbish weather too and I'm ill so going to the chemist seems unlikely.

I'm charting and I had a massive temperature peak at 4 DPO (highest I've ever got), followed by a big dip today (6DPO). My luteal phase is normally 10 days long (trying to lengthen it this month with B vits) and my temp doesn't normally drop until the day before AF, so I have no idea what the massive spike, followed by massive dip in the middle of my luteal phase are all about... I'm trying very hard not to get excited about potential implantation etc because apart from the temperature weirdness I haven't had any symptoms at all... Argh! Trying to wait until at least Saturday to test.

I'm so frustrated today, I've been naive and taken Flo as a good estimate of ovulation but now having been trying clearblue opk it says I'm not even fertile at the moment and yet Flo says I'll be ovulating tomorrow! so confusing

@Dlah ooh that gives me hope ☺️ I know I shouldn't get excited but I can't help it 😂😂

@Queenofmyownheart Tbf when I was pregnant with my first I never got a line in the 10 min window, only one the 5th day late and telling my sister still BFN she told me to go look again (like 2 hours later) and sure enough there was a line - took til day 7 to get a positive within the 10 min window and still then took a good 5 mins to appear!

Tested this morning with a cheapie bfn I know I have to stop it's ridiculous 😂 buuutttt........ just looked back at yesterday's and there is a line 😱 do I dismiss it or run out and get an expensive test?!

@Username28 we are also going to try SMEP this month! Luckily I ovulate early in my cycle so hopefully won’t be too tiring 🤣 good luck! Keep me posted on your thoughts 🙂 I’m currently on CD10

Fertile week not for another 2 week's, should be on a may bus really! I know its bad to put pressure on the situation but it would be so ideal timing wise for a January baby it's hard not to!
Told DP we are not leaving the bedroom this month, going to try SMEP a bit and see! Don't want to get fed up with it before ovulation lol. How romantic ay!

Bought pre seed last month but didn't use it, might give it a go! All guns blazing

Any tips or anything people are doing differently this time round?

@Danimarie I hate the TWW. Last month I was 4 days late which was even worse and I kept taking tests. I was actually relieved for AF to turn up because at least I knew where I was.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that actually knowing when I ovulated means we can be luckier this month.
