Hi all - I'm new to mumsnet and new to TTC. On CD1 of cycle 2...

KatBeCool · 26/03/2019 18:55

@FlapJackered you use the cream with the same timing as the pill. Start 2-3 days after confirmed ovulation. With 4dpo you can still start it, it's not horribly late. And you stop it at 14dpo and test. You use 40mg daily, split into two 20mg doses. Hopefully 20mg isn't a handful lol. They say the cream may work better since it's not going through the liver like the pills.

SunnyL88 · 26/03/2019 18:51

Thanks all I’ll just wait it out. @cupcakesandglitter did you get your period afterwards?

orangeloo · 26/03/2019 17:55

Welcome @rose555 this is the best place to be.

@SunnyL88 sorry your going through it. Wishing you all the best Thanks

thosethreewords · 26/03/2019 17:35

Trying to keep up with you all but really busy with work this week, so if I'm quiet, that's why. Oh and also it's FW so therefore trying to get in a bit of BD too haha

Hope you are all ok

PeacockingAbout · 26/03/2019 17:32

Really sorry to hear that @SunnyL88, hope you get some answers from the Drs.

Welcome @rose555

daisiesandpeonies · 26/03/2019 16:40

@FlapJackered what's progesterone cream? Does it help with shortening cycles?

FlapJackered · 26/03/2019 16:21

@cupcakesandglitter I haven't this cycle as I wasn't sure of my cds after the mc but will definitely get back on them next cycle.
🙈 Not really sure what I was thinking buying the cream, as my progesterone came back fine on bloods! I think I might just be losing the plot a bit. I think my rational is I will just throw everything at it and I will definitely get pregnant! 😂
How are you doing? What cd are you on now? X

cupcakesandglitter · 26/03/2019 16:09

Welcome @rose555 xx

@FlapJackered no idea how it works 😂😂 you still taking soy? Xx

rose555 · 26/03/2019 15:44

@Lottiepink @FlapJackered thank you both for welcoming me Smile @Lottiepink, how funny that we are so close together in our cycles... fingers crossed for you! I am so happy to have all of you to talk to now. So far I've just been secretly reading threads on Mumsnet without plucking up the courage to join in.

Lottiepink · 26/03/2019 15:36

Fingers crossed for you @SunnyL88 hopefully you get some positive news

Welcome @rose555 I'm newish, so still getting used to it too. I'm ttc no1 but cycle 12 😱 we are just a day apart on our cycles, I'm CD17
Fingers crossed for us both this month 😊

FlapJackered · 26/03/2019 15:32

Has anyone tried progesterone cream? I have bought some (spent too much money 😬🤦🏼‍♀️)
I am 4dpo and it has just arrived so not sure whether to start using it now or wait until after ov next cycle.

@Welshpugmomma welcome back lovely! Sorry to hear your DHs sperm is not so good. Is it fixably low or did they say ICSI would definitely be necessary? As my friend's sperm numbers improved massively just from giving up booze and taking wellman conception, although I am not sure of his exact numbers.
I would be surprised if the NHS didn't offer ICSI, do you have another appointment with the doc? If so I am sure he will tell you all the options. X

@SunnyL88 I'm so sorry hun. It is heartbreaking. 💐

@rose555 welcome! It is a really friendly group of ladies here.

@MrsH497 sorry you're still waiting for AF she is a trickster! Hopefully it means that she won't and it will be a bfp instead! 🤞🏻

@Lola871 that looks like a line!! Have you done a frer?

@PeacockingAbout keeping everything crossed for you! Have you taken a frer? 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Lola871 · 26/03/2019 15:32

@SunnyL88 fingers crossed everything turns out ok xx

rose555 · 26/03/2019 15:22

Hi, I am new to Mumsnet and wondered if I could join this thread? I'm not 100% sure how to join or how this works yet. I am 32 and TTC first baby. On cycle 4 and CD16 today... would love to have some others to talk to and a little moral support x

Hannah192 · 26/03/2019 14:58

@SunnyL88 Hope everything turns out to be ok 🤞🏼

cupcakesandglitter · 26/03/2019 14:13

Fingers crossed for you @SunnyL88 ❤️ XX

SunnyL88 · 26/03/2019 14:10

Me too 🤞🏻 Thank you @LikeTheFruit x

LikeTheFruit · 26/03/2019 14:06

Aw @SunnyL88 I hope it all turns out to be ok.

SunnyL88 · 26/03/2019 13:52

Been to the gp and has bloods so should know on a couple of days. They said as it’s been 4 days he’s dubious it’s a cp as it would have been quicker but still not holding out much hope. Thanks for the advice x

cupcakesandglitter · 26/03/2019 11:41

Sorry @SunnyL88 i think so :( but the GP might have better advice, FWIW mine didn't fade I just had a line one day and the next morning nothing. By the time I went to the GP it was a BFN on their test (and AF started that evening) sorry it's not what you want to hear at all, I don't know if anyone else has any advice or positive stories? Xx

SunnyL88 · 26/03/2019 11:25

@cupcakesandglitter do you think that’s what’s happening? 😰

I have an appointment later at the gp so I’ll let you all know.

cupcakesandglitter · 26/03/2019 11:15

@SunnyL88 that happened to me with my CP, sorry you're going through it too :( it is horrible, please look after yourself XX

starkid · 26/03/2019 11:08

@SunnyL88 - Oh honey :( I don't have any experience with pregnancy tests going from positive to slowly negative so hopefully someone else will come in who does, but we're all here for you if it does look to be that way xx

Ughhh so you may remember me posting my bfp on Saturday well tested daily and lines getting lighter each day. Still no af or spotting but I’m thinking now it may be a chemical. Absolutely gutted
